Has a lock that is definitely more for the interior of a home, it provided no security. I called the host a good 5 times to book and she never answered or called back. I should have taken that as a sign on what a dump this place was. I finally submitted an inquiry on their website and thats when she finally answered via email with a simple link to book.No other conversation. The day of check in, I asked her to please call me, at this point, you'd be right to guess she never responded. We didnt hear from her about check in or check out, literally the worst host, I would NEVER stay here again. How was the wifi?? It aint happening, the wifi was as useless as flip flops in the snow. The satellite dish completely useless you can only watch a show in 15 min increments because it constantly freezes. Never again.

This Sleep Inn is attached to another hotel, MainStay Suites. Both are modern and look attractive both inside and out. They share check-in services. Our experience with the front staff was good. Of special note was allowing us to check in at 12:30 at no extra charge. We really appreciated that. Our 3rd floor room was clean and spacious. Though right next to the elevator, I didn't notice any noise. The elevator smelled like oil and had annoying habit of never fully closing on the first attempt. The ice machine on our floor was broken. Bathroom fan was weak, shower pressure low, equipped with desk, mini fridge, hair dryer, microwave, iron and board. Beds were not comfortable but plenty of pillows provided. AC worked well. The complimentary breakfast is your usual fare: scrambled eggs, [wafer thin] bacon or sausage, cereal, waffles, pastries and bagels, and, of course, coffee. Like so many hotels, the eggs were watery. Not spectacular but filling. One thing I didn't like was that we did to receive housekeeping services until after our second night and we had to go down to get extra towels instead of having them brought up to us. My concern wasn't the issue itself, it was the initial response. When I first contacted your office, I was essentially told, "It shows as posted on our end, so we don't know what to tell you." I would have appreciated hearing that the issue would be investigated right away, especially since enough time had already passed. Also, when a customer provides feedback, the appropriate response is to thank them, acknowledge their concerns, and let them know you'll take the feedback into consideration, rather than continuing to defend how the situation was handled. It's not professional and it's not a good look.

Upon further documentation their pet policy states that pets are not allowed on the furniture and in certain rooms etc. this is not a pet friendly place, and when I called to ask about it their staff was very rude. If you are pet tolerant or have further restrictions this should be available within your listing and not after someone books and has to make further agreements to.

The look of the apartment was definitely eclectic - bright shades of yellow and pink splashed across the walls. Plus, a polka dot bathroom. The decor was fun too. An old school radio, suitcase, and telephone were among the many items on the shelves. These rooms certainly aren't anything fancy, but everything was clean and tidy. It's nice that check in is contactless. You simply get a set of directions emailed to you once you book letting you know the code to get in. Parking is limited but they do give you a parking pass so you're all set. Also great is its location. Truly the center of downtown, within walking distance to all the shops, bars, restaurants, and coffee joints you could need. The one bummer was a leaking ceiling in our unit's bathroom. Hopefully they get that sorted ASAP because it was quite bad. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers passing through!

Also staff in the bar stated that she was on so many drugs she should not be working and could not remember our order. The manager said it's upon request but we heard them offer a couple ahead of us that service so assumed it was included. We had one hand towel and one washcloth in our room. When I request more at the front desk I was told they were all in the laundry. Pool is very cold 70s and hot tub is gross. "Breakfast" includes lots of junk like pop tarts and packaged mini muffins. For the price, I'd go elsewhere.
