Our car suddenly lost all power last Saturday May 9 on busy Monte Vista Ave. We managed to coast over to the median, but it was rather harrowing. Too hot to stay in the car, so we risked crossing over to the side of the street. We went through Triple A to get Vacaviile Tow to come. Josh got there quickly and was able to get the car on the truck and bring it over to where we were. After discussing our options, we agreed to have Josh tow the car to our home in Benicia. These people are the best. I don't remember a company that was as competent and helpful as this one. I had an old R.V. in my front yard that no one would take and I tried every wrecking yard in the area, including all of Sacrament. A specialist in R.V. dismantling wanted $7,000 to take it off my hands. I simply did not have that kind of money. Yet, I thought I may need to do it because it was looking like I had no choice. Then Vacaville Tow stepped in. I explained my problem to them and rather than telling me I was out of luck like everyone else they did some research on my behalf and found a place that would take it. They only charged me $1,350 INCLUDING to pick it up and take it to a wrecking yard in Woodland which charged them $850 to take it. Towing fees to for an RV normally cost $250 an hour. When I looked over their costs I see they barely broke even. This company really wants to serve its clients and will do what they can to help them. I felt like I was dealing with a company that sincerely wanted to help me rather than take as much money as they could from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about them. read more

She wanted to argue and repeatedly talk over me and told me she can't just go "Poof manifest a tow truck", as I was stuck on the side of the freeway with my two-year-old daughter in the car. My 4 year old son and I were stuck on the freeway using AAA they came and said they couldn't tow my truck because it was too wide for their trucks and declined my AAA but then called me and said they could do it if it I paid out of pocket? They told me is was over 200 an hour and then when I called back spoke to someone else it was 125.00 for the tow and I said fine. The tow truck driver was amazing his name was Anthony. He did his job and it wasn't even a hard tow for him. It seems like all the other drivers are incompetent and the managers that called me over charging where just money hungry. Vacaville Tow used to be the pros to call but I can tell you this they are more so focused on Tow rotational calls than serving the public. They are a poor choice for Emergency Roadside service excessive long wait times for a response when they are dispatched out of Vacaville to a nearby service. This company still has a long way to go I hope the owner Glen figures out his company before he completely shifts operations down to his son! I also strongly recommend you DRUG TEST all tow truck drivers immediately and make take action. Also, the rude phone clerk but at least the holding music was great. read more
