Funny story I'm driving home and drive by this guy trying to push his car. I then think it looks like my dad. Sure enough I did two u turns and it was my dad. The car was about 1.3 miles from the house. I WAS NOT ABOUT TO HELP HIM PUSH THAT CAR HOME. Although I have to give it to my dad for his determination, pushing the car home was neither safe or achievable. So I finally convinced him that we where not going to move this car. My truck, a rather large deisel truck was recently towed today by Jim. The tow was to be covered by my extended warranty. After placing the claim I was informed that my towing covereage only covered up to $200. Shortly after I placed the claim, I was called saying that they found a tow company but the charge would be $425 leaving me to pay $225 of it. I explained to the warranty that this was not a fair price to keep looking. Shortly later the warranty called again with good news this time. They would be sending out Tri-City towing and I wouldn't have to pay anything because the tow was under my $200 coverage limit. Wow over half price of the first quote!!! There had to be a catch. I agreed to the tow and then looked up the reviews on yelp. All great reviews. This couldn't be real. Jim called to let me know he was on his way and asked if the time frame would work. Of course I said yes and met him at my truck. He arrived with his dad within 30 minutes. After a breif discussion about the problem with the truck, Jim and his dad had it up on the truck and headed to the dealership. Didn't cost me a dime. The service was outstanding! I've got an old Corvette that I let sit in the driveway for far too long. I decided it was time to move it into the garage to start working on it, but discovered the door lock was frozen; the keys wouldn't turn the lock. And older corvettes have unique door locks (you can't just pop up the lock with a clothes hanger). Once he arrived, rather than fussing with the lock, Jim brought out some of his magic tools, reached in through a crack in the window and managed to turn the window crank, thus lowering the window and ... voila!
