I've scoured Google and Yelp for a few days and decided that I absolutely wanted to go with him because he had all good reviews, shows his cuts and styles on Instagram, and is booked for months out. Because of this, it's best to schedule a haircut online with him -- you'll be able to find last-minute openings. John is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. He's there to give you a haircut, but he's also there to spread some knowledge. He showed me how he was cutting my hair and why he was doing it. His consultation was also very helpful, especially because I didn't know anything about hair and how to style it. I wanted to change the way my hair looked in both style and color, and John was there to give feedback and what he thought was in my best interest. I felt like he should have charged for his consultation because he spent a GOOD amount of time providing advice and feedback, time that's worth money, especially when I was his last client for the day and it was getting late. Because he didn't charge extra for consultation, I provided a good tip. What I wish beforehand, which isn't really John's fault, is how to enter the building. It was late, so the door was locked -- luckily, there was someone who let me in. If you ever encounter this situation, just text John and he'll come open the door for you! Overall, I believe I am a permanent client of John's. My husband loves my hair and believes that John did a really good job, especially for the price you're paying. I highly recommend John!

My appointment was with Daisha T. for a natural hair consultation and mini twists style and I must say that I was impressed with her. The salon is in a convenient location and not hard to find if you know where the Chick-Fil-A off of Cooper & Bardin is located. I was greeted upon arrival and was happy to see that COVID-19 precautions were still in place: all customers are expected to wear masks, staff had on masks, the salon wasn't overcrowded, hand sanitizer was readily available, etc. The salon was clean, had a nice vibe, and good music was playing. Daisha T. was a pleasure! She seems knowledgeable about natural hair and like she actually cares about the health of hair vs just the style. I had great conversation with her!
