Jason was awesome. He listened to what I wanted and took it from there. I have very thick curly hair and he had no problem working with it. When he finished my hair was beautifully straight and light. He did an amazing job. The wash, cut and blow dry were $85 which is an awesome rate considering my hair. Found him totally by using YELP and reading reviews. So happy I did. When I went in all I wanted was my gray covered by blonde highlights and my hair cut. I had not had either done since December. I was scheduled to have an appointment in March...but COVID has other plans. He spent a while talking with me about what I liked about my highlights and hair cut. While we were talking you could see his brain working to arrive at the best color/cut combo for me. At first I thought it was too light, but after he got done with everything I absolutely loved it. I went to him so he would fix a not so great coloring job I had done elsewhere and for a haircut. I had my hair layered by Jason last Tuesday. I have layered hair and it was getting too long for my life style and he re-layered it. I sure LOVE my hair the way he cut and layered it. I just got back from getting my hair cut by Jason and really enjoyed meeting him and getting my hair highlighted and cut by him! We just moved here from Virginia and had been dreading trying to figure out where to go. I too went by the Yelp reviews and drove all the way from McKinney (about 40-45 minutes) and was so glad I did! He very much pays attention to details and was very conscientious about timing of the dye on my hair since it is baby fine. I got a fairly quick response from Jason. He was able to get me in on the day I requested without any issues. He was really personable but didn't talk my ear off. I kept telling him I wanted lighter but he kept insisting it would damage my hair and to go in steps. I appreciate that he truly cared about the health of my hair versus just adding on more products/time and letting the bill rack up. And lastly my hair turned out amazing! I saw the Yelp reviews and decided to make an appointment with Jason. I really put him in a bad position because my hair was in bad condition due to 20 months of chemo. On top of that my once curly hair is now straight. So, not only did I not know what I wanted done to my hair; I didn't even know how to style it. It was BAD! Jason was very patient with me as he tried to come up with a plan for my hair. We talked through the plan, and he got started. I am so thankful I found him. I had a balayage done back in June so it would be easier to grow my out my gray and have to get it trimmed every 6 weeks to keep the ends looking good. My color person (at another salon) who I love, was fabulous with color, but not so much with cuts. I saw Jason's reviews on YELP and decided to give him a try. He did a fabulous job.
