I walked in, initially considering a trip to the emergency room because my shoulder wouldn't lift, and my entire body felt tight and sore. I had a massage with Daniel, and I would rate him a perfect 100000 out of 100! He has an incredible understanding of the body, pinpointing where the tightness was and communicating with me throughout the session. His calm demeanor and focus on ensuring I was comfortable allowed me to really tune in to my breathing and connect my mind and body. When I left, I felt brand new--like a completely different woman! I've done the same concept in Southern California so I was expecting to pay a good price to get a nice massage, but upon entering every discount I wanted to use was shut down for some reason or another. THEN I ask how much for what I wanted and was quoted $55.... For a 45min back massage - no foot or head rub... ok that seems so much higher than what I was expecting in these types of places. Since I couldn't look at a normal menu somewhere posted I took the lady's word for it and later asked for a menu so I added the photo here so hopefully others don't get duped. the masseuse literally rolled the sheet back to the bottom of my butt!... that was NOT comfortable at all. Every massage I've had either all my clothes stayed on or I was always under a blanket. Weird. Oh well. And I feel like I have bruises all over my back today. Fun fun. Not going back. Need to find the type of place I was originally looking for with great prices. And btw - when I look at the menu she gave me - I could've gotten a ONE HOUR BACK AND FOOT MASSAGE for my price. The space is clean, calm, low lighting and has beverages available when you arrive. I had a massage from Kevin, it was wonderful. My regular therapist here is Michael.. Michael is amazing. He has a very thorough understanding of how the body works and how everything is connected and provides a truely therapeutic massage. He has a great touch and provides deep work where needed, which I appreciate. The table is always set up warm and he uses a variety of "pillows" to make sure that I am comfortable throughout the service. I try to get a massage here every 2-3 months, and have yet to be dissapointed. I recommend signing up for their emails and watching for specials, they run packages at very good prices.
