I was unable to unlock the car except for using the key manually, and so forth. Upon returning to the shop, the technicians did a thorough review of the error messages and - due to a recurrence of battery related messages sprinkled throughout all the other error messages saved by the system - hypothesized that the issue was actually cascading from a failing battery. Although this was a coincidental occurrence in terms of timing, I was offered a really good quote on the cost of the battery and no labor costs for changing the battery. Since that time everything has operated perfectly. I am so extremely satisfied with the extra mile service provided by Sherrill Paint & Body and I would recommend them to anyone in need of paint & body work as they are hardworking, generous, and open about their repair process. Not to mention, the body work I initially went in for was completely flawlessly and the car was returned to me in such wonderful clean condition inside and out. I could not be happier with my experience.

We picked up the vehicle and yesterday noticed paint drips on the door.I will be taking it back, and I hope they stand by their work and fix this.

So I'm talking with a very attractive woman named Jackie about the process of my repair needs and a gentleman who is also speaking with me comes outside to have a look at the damage from the storm to my tri fold cover. Little did I know I was speaking to the owner himself. A very humble down to earth good hearted man whom like myself love vintage cars. As we were talking about the repair and vintage cars I ended up getting an impromptu tour to his ENORMOUS facility that was beyond impressive! I mean this place has everything!! All of his staff are professional and very seasoned in their craft. I'm very particular about who I allow to fix my vehicle and Hwy 280 paint and body has earned my business! Tim's exact words to me were " if I'm going to repair a car I'm gonna repair it right the first time "! If you want it done right take it to Hwy 280 paint and body!!

We've used 280 Paint and Body in the past without issues, but this recent experience was…read morefrustrating and disorganized. After a wrecker dropped off our vehicle, we didn't hear from them for four days. When we called, they said they were waiting on us to provide insurance info - but no one had reached out to ask for anything. No communication. At that point, we simply needed a quote, not to start an insurance claim. From there, it took an additonal week to receive the initial estimate. Again, no one called - we had to follow up. After reviewing the estimate, we decided to go through insurance. The process dragged on for over a month with constant back-and-forth between 280 and Allstate. Communication from 280 remained minimal - we only received updates when we initiated contact. We repeatedly heard "It'll be ready next week," but delays continued with conflicting stories about unpaid balances or new claim issues. Eventually, 280 couldn't complete part of the repair and sent the vehicle to the Toyota dealer without notifying us. No call, no heads-up - just an email from the dealer letting us know they had our vehicle and had started a repair. I initially thought the email was spam since I believed my vehicle was at 280 Paint and Body. This added two more weeks to the process. From November 13 to December 23, we were without a vehicle and caught between blame-shifting from 280 and Allstate. In the end, the repair was fine, and in the last week their office staff, Jackie began calling us and smooth out a few things at Toyota, but the overall process was far more difficult than necessary. I don't plan to return to 280 Paint and Body and am reconsidering my insurance provider moving forward.
