When I called the Surgery Center to complain about my hurtful treatment by my nurse I spoke to a very nice nurse at first. Then the nurse manager called me with a bad attitude to start with then she basically said I was lying. I think if they have cameras in the surgery room etc. it would prove I'm telling the truth. Not sure how far I will take this complaint but the abusive nurse and manager should lose their jobs.

They have two waiting rooms, you wait for a while in the first one, then see an assistant (or whatever their title is) and then get put in a second waiting room. Right after I sat down in the second waiting room, another patient said, "Yeah, all you do here at this office is wait." I gave it 30 minutes past my appointment time, then told the front desk I couldn't wait any longer. They indicated that it was typical for the doctors to be running behind, and that this length of time was actually "Good for Dr. Gilbert." Not good for me.

The vision center inside the office, not so great. I ordered my lenses through them for the ease of not having to take my prescription anywhere else. First, I was told 5-7 business days for the lenses. I called on day 5 to check on them and they didn't have the measurements on file so the order hadn't been started (why didn't anyone call?). I gave them the measurements and got off the phone. I called back on day 14 to check on the status of my lenses and was informed that the order hadn't been started until yesterday (day 13) because they were waiting for a signature from the Doctor. Now, they estimate my prescription will be ready early next week (which is now about 20 days into this whole thing). I will be going back for my eye exam but I won't be ordering lenses from them again.
