Grace was very kind and we had a great proposal call with her, leaving us enthused to have her as our florist! She unfortunately overpromised and underdelivered, giving us full transparency of a 2-3 week return on a proposal but after multiple follow ups, she only responded once detailing "sorry for the delay, will have this over you tonight or tomorrow" and complete silence after. My wedding planner was trying to expedite the process as she was going on maternity leave and this sense of urgency wasn't recognized even after the grace period we were mindful of. With our timeline we had to move forward with another great florist. Was unfortunate to not work with the great ideas Grace had but the lack of attention and urgency was not met. Completely understand it's a busy wedding season, but follow ups and updates would be greatly appreciated! read more

I worked with Corrin for my May 2023 wedding. By far this was the best decision of made of wedding was choosing Vale of Enna as my flower vendor!! I am not sure how Corrin does it, but I was having a hard time articulating what I wanted, and ensure that I was sticking to a budget as well. After vague emails on my end and some Zoom calls, BAM, Corrin somehow puts together my dream vision board for flowers. She is so flexible if you need to add on things, like the flower girl flower crowns my nieces all of a sudden just had to have. The vision board was no comparison to the actual day. Everything was absolutely stunning, I could not have even imagined how beautiful it all looked. My advice- let Corrin do her magic because I could never have dreamed it would look so beautiful. Grace is a floral mastermind!!! When starting to plan our wedding, floral/design/ambiance was one of the elements I was most concerned about. Design is not my forte, but I obviously wanted the wedding to be gorgeous with the perfect fall feel. I wanted it to feel elegant yet also warm, and intimate. At our first meeting at Vale of Enna, my worries were immediately erased, Grace truly knows what she is talking about and takes comprehensive notes on all of your floral dreams. After receiving our detailed proposal, I knew Grace was going to be able to turn my vision into the most beautiful reality. The planning meeting a month or so before the wedding was also so helpful - Grace walked us through all the details and even showed us our two centerpieces. It was so nice leaving the meeting to have complete peace of mind for floral on the day. The flowers on our wedding day were absolutely stunning with the perfect shades of red, burgundy, creams, peachy orange, and of course plenty of greenery. She also included 1000's of candles in rustic gold votives which created the perfect intimate feel I was looking for. When I walked into the venue I was completely blown away. Grace was PHENOMENAL! We truly could not have had a better experience with Vale of Enna. The flowers were beautiful beyond our expectations (friends who posted pictures of the wedding are still getting asked "who did the flowers" and every guest said they were the most spectacular they have ever seen at a wedding!). We had initial meetings with several florists and Grace stood out from the start--incredibly kind, great listener, creative ideas, and very thoughtful. She created specific elements of the wedding based on us and our families. For example, instead of just making boutonnieres and corsages for the family assuming the same theme as the wedding party, she ask about each person, our relationship with them, and what they might like--this was such a personal touch and meant a lot to us. Grace worked incredibly well with all of our other vendors, communicated clearly, offered a floral trial in her studio so we could see things in person, and even helped us remember things we didn't think of (like a card box that we were able to borrow from her for a very minimal cost!). Grace is incredibly gifted in her art and incredibly kind. She took great care in each element of our wedding, big and small, and it was truly a pleasure to work with her and get to know her. I was originally very excited to work with Grace and her team at Vale of Enna. My first meeting was absolutely wonderful and I felt like Grace understood the vision for my wedding and also gave great tips on saving $$. After that, things went downhill...I met with Grace end of February, she mentioned that she had several proposals in front of mine, which I completely understood, I followed up with her just over a week later just to understand the timeline...they were in the middle of a move so I didn't want to get lost in the shuffle! I didn't hear back, so I followed up again a few days later. I did get a response saying she would be working on the proposals that following Monday, I didn't hear again and I reached back out 2 weeks later as well as called the office and spoke with someone on the team that said Grace would get back to me and never heard back again. It was a very frustrating experience, the little to no communication and not even an email back asking for more time. I'm not sure if my budget wasn't large enough or what happened. I thought it was important to share my experience. I do think she is very talented but the communication and lack thereof was so frustrating that I went with another florist. read more

I was helping my daughter with her pending wedding in the floral department and had a pretty good comfortable phone conversation with Grace Ha . She asked me for a 2 wk period to return with the proposal which I totally understand . Well more than 2 wks passed so I sent her emails n even spoke with her on the phone to follow through during which she apologized and felt in her own words "embarrassed " she didn't get her estimate done thus ignored my email but promised she would return with a quote in another week's time . Well again 2 wks passed n I believe she had intentionally ghosted me . It would be nice and professional if she had just told me upfront she can't come up with the proposal cuz of my budget which is around $10k ( no small budget ) or something . I can handle it . I contacted Grace again for a small job - flowers for an intimate bridal shower at the Drake Hotel for Afternoon Tea. I needed one medium sized arrangement and 4 bud vases and said they should be purple..but otherwise, it was up to her what kind of flowers to put together. Wow, did she deliver! Everyone at the shower commented on how pretty the arrangements were. The bride to be loved them as well. Not only did she hand us a beautiful arrangement for the gifts table, she decided to kick it up a notch with the bud vases. (I was expecting a single flower in a small clear vase - she gave us a combo of anemones, hydrangeas, and roses in an antiqued silver votive).. The flowers were short notice (I think I called her 1.5 wks before the event). She was super sweet and responsive. I cannot recommend her enough. read more

Grace is amazing!!!!! I got married at Room 1520 in March and was completely nervous about transforming a blank canvas into something spectacular. Thanks to Vale of Enna, the room looked gorgeous!! I had requested some kind of wow factor to be placed at the entrance and Grace arranged cherry blossom branches with hanging candles. Grace was so friendly and accommodating. I was really nervous about the budget, but she was VERY comfortable to talk to. I came across some other snooty vendors who told me peonies weren't available during our wedding, when Grace was able to get them. Ok, now for those of you who may be put off about the initial lack of communication, you're in for a rude awakening about the wedding industry. Unless you're dealing with a huge corporation or some chain, you will most likely encounter lag in response time. Trust me, I've gone through it with multiple vendors! I understand that it can be completely frustrating. Please don't let that deter you from going with Vale of Enna. After the initial proposal, she was very prompt with all her responses. I was mightily impressed by Vale of Enna's website and the floral designs. The pictures showcase an incredible talent, full of modern designs that are really eye-catching and beautiful. I made an appointment to meet Grace at a coffeeshop of her choosing (which was not at all convenient for me) and although she did call, she ran in over 15 minutes late, apologizing about something or another sort of issue at home. OK, I will let that slide, it happens to all of us. But then, even though I had a lot of pictures showing what feel I was going for, she seemed irked that not only did I not have a dress yet, I only had a vague notion of what my bouquet should look like, even though I wanted to focus on the decoration for the site right then. The whole meeting seemed like a conversation between two people that didn't speak the others language, and were trying to converse in a third language neither were fluent in. I stressed numerous times during the meeting that she had open reign - I really didn't care what kinds of flowers they were or how they were arranged, as long as the flowers were seasonal and they were white or green. The rest was up to her and her creativity. Well, I don't know if this concept just blew her mind, or she simply was not used to working outside of a brides rigid design plan, but it seemed like at one point she got flustered, decided the meeting was adjourned, hustled a bunch of papers into my hands and promised me a quote by the end of the week. And it is now 6 weeks later with no quote, no follow up email, no call - nothing. I feel like if you really didn't want my business could you maybe have at least given me the courtesy of an email saying "I thought about our meeting and I'm not sure if I am a good fit for you?" I dont know if Vale of Enna is simply some little hobby-job that is just a source of fun for Grace, but as a small business owner the professionalism here is sorely lacking. read more

I think Grace is talented at what she does -- creating flower arrangements. However, she needs to improve on her professionalism. She is not ready to run a business for real clients that have real needs. I contacted Grace because I heard she does amazing things with flowers. She was a bit slow on email, but I ignored it. She got a surge of energy and was engaged with me when we had our first meeting and discussed the vision I wanted for my wedding. She promised me a quote by the weekend after our call. The weekend went by, no quote. A week went by after, no email. The following week, my wedding coordinator emailed, demanding a response by that day, nothing. 3 weeks later, I frantically found a new florist who actually responded to my emails and calls. A month later, she emails me saying am I still using her for the wedding, and here is the quote. Incredible. A horrible experience. As a bride, I didn't want to ever doubt that my florist would never show up at my wedding with no flowers. At the end of the day, its not rocket science...someone else can do the exact same job for you, but you'll actually have confidence that they'll actually deliver. I hate to have to write this review, as I had hoped we could figure things out with Grace/Vale of Enna. We had an initial meeting with Grace six months prior to our wedding. The meeting went great and myself, my fiancé, and my parents were all impressed with Grace's vision for our wedding day. Grace & team promised we'd have a proposal in the next couple of weeks or so. As weeks went by, I checked in on the status of the proposal but received no response. I eventually received a response from Grace saying she had some things going on in her personal life and was traveling out of country. I totally understood and told her to take her time. Weeks passed. Months passed. I checked in with Grace directly as did our planner on our behalf, but to no avail. Finally our planner got in touch with Grace. Grace apologized and promised that she'd send an apology to me and my fiancé, as well as a proposal. It's been several months since we met Grace/Vale of Enna and we never received a proposal. This experience was very disappointing as we had hoped to partner with Grace and give her our business. We had to move on to another florist, Kloeckner Events, who has been amazing. read more

Brianna and the Vale of Enna team did an incredible job at our wedding this past weekend at Cafe Brauer! I can't tell you how many compliments we got from our guests about the flowers. I had wanted something both simple and rustic, and could not believe how spot-on everything looked at our trial. Their floral arrangements were beautiful, and our chuppah was made of four birch branches supported by a moss base. On the day of the wedding, the staff lit 200 votive candles and placed them around the venue, some on ledges nearly 50 feet off of the ground! All of this helped set the mood for the evening. Brianna was also conscious of our budget, and worked with us to make sure that we felt comfortable with the cost. She was communicative and made sure that all of the small details got addressed. For those of you who mention issues with professionalism and managing the business, I too experienced this problem with many vendors during my wedding planning, I have chopped it up to it being the nature of the beast. You are working with small business owners who have a craft and their craft has nothing to do with "running the books." With that being said, it can be extremely frustrating but I advise having patience (something I significantly lack). When Grace and I first met, my now husband and I were very prepared knowing what we wanted (to an extent) but needing someone who could complete the job within our budget, Grace was just that person. She used our ideas and built on them to customize the floral to our style and make it unique. She offered us the best price of all the many companies we spoke with (and didn't provide me with an estimate twice that of the budget I communicated) and she was able to work with all the quirks and tiny changes I had as we moved closer to the date. All of our updates were quickly applied to the proposal and her writing made it very easy to visualize what to expect. Personally, floral was the hardest for me, there are a lot of options and when you see your idea in words, you are never sure what it will ACTUALLY look like. Grace did a great job providing us with visuals of her previous work or samples she would base her design off of and did a wonderful job delivering. On the day of the wedding Grace and her team pinned the flowers on the guys, had the bouquets to the ladies with plenty of time for photos, and did a wonderful job with timing. Her staff turned over the ballroom from the ceremony to the reception and everything looked outstanding. Grace did my sister's wedding in September of 2009 and i knew that she was going to be the florist at our wedding in October 2011. I find that so many wedding florists create tacky bouquets and centerpieces.. but Grace has such a good eye and understands the bride's taste. She met with me on multiple occasions (since I am super picky) and made sure that i had all the flowers and centerpieces I needed. She also quickly realized styles I liked and recommended centerpieces that I loved. I saw her several times throughout my wedding - she makes sure that everything is set up PERFECTLY before she leaves.. my bouquet and centerpieces were SO beautiful and I knew that Grace would do an amazing job :) i did requests quotes from several other florists to compare prices, but Vale of Enna was by far the most reasonable. I LOVED the flowers that Vale of Enna did for our wedding. I met with Grace after sending her an email with a few photos of flowers I liked. She was easy to talk to and really understood the aestetic that I was looking to achieve. I liked Grace's laid back (yet professional) attitude and I feel like she really was a good fit for me. She did 6 bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, the simple (loose) flowers for our centerpieces and even threw in some flowers to decorate our cake with. I got a quote on roses, spray roses, ranunculus, anemones and billy balls, accented with grey dusty miller and grey berries for the personal flowers and football mums for our centerpieces. I originally wanted garden roses, but Grace suggested regular roses to help me keep the cost down. And honestly I really I didn't miss not having the garden roses. Other florists told me they weren't able to get all the flowers I wanted (the ranunculus and anemones, which would have been awful since they were the two that I like the most) because they would be out of season in September. However, Grace was able to get me everything and at a lower price! LOVE IT! Even though Grace was a little slow with sending me the quotes, she was great about sending them the next day after a reminder. If you have some patience in understanding that you are not the only one getting married and it's the busy season you should be fine. My wedding planner recommended them for my wedding flower decor and I am super happy with their work! Everything turned out gorgeous, exactly as I pictured it. We met with Grace at their very charming and cosy studio. All I knew was that I wanted peonies and soft blush and white colors, and I showed some pictures from Pinterest that I liked. And Grace suggested a bunch of other flowers that we could add, which I had no idea what they were :) But I saw her portfolio before, so I just trusted her. She is very artistic and talented! They decorated pews in the church with flowers, which they later used for cocktail tables and the cake, which was very nice. I got a lot of compliments from guests about flowers that day! Sarah Anderson is an unbelievably talented florist!! Working with her was the main highlight of wedding planning - I had no idea I would become completely obsessed with flowers until I met her. As a designer, I had specific opinions and I was so impressed with the ideas that were offered throughout the planning (much better than my own). Of all the florists I spoke to and worked with, Sarah's vision and suggestions were the most unique and inspiring. When I walked into the venue on our wedding day I started to cry tears of happiness because Sarah went above and beyond to make every detail absolutely perfect. I really loved some of the work that Grace did for some weddings that I was able to view through facebook. When I researched her for reviews, I was half half on whether or not I should contact her because I heard she was not a very quick responder to emails and there were lots of issues with communication. I ended up giving her a try anyways due to my love for her work. I emailed her. No reply. I was worried that the reviews were right. I gave her a second chance. Two weeks later, I emailed her again and she responded six hours later. Grace said she never received my first initial email. So maybe there is a bug in her email system through her webiste? I'm not sure but from then on, our communication was very smooth. She is much better with the phone than email. We were able to set up a consultation at a Starbucks of her choice which didn't bother me since I knew she did not have an official office. This is why she can give me such a good deal right...because there are no overhead charges. Meeting at Starbucks was like meeting at her office, the same you would do for any other florist. The only unprofessional aspect of the meeting was that she brought her two adorable kids to the meeting after running fifteen minutes late due to her husband not being able to return from work in time. This was okay since I love kids and I could understand that she is a working mom. The kids soon left after her husband arrived. We were able to discuss the look and feel I was going for and Grace was able to give me all her insights on how to achieve this feel. She never pressured me into using more expensive flowers and she even told me which flowers would be the most durable and look the best for my wedding season. When I received my quote from her, she told me that I could look through the proposal and take things out or change things around and it would never bother her. I must have changed the proposal three times within the two days to see how my prices would change if I did something different. Her prices were amazing compared to the local florists and other vendors I have contacted. She was able to give me a quote that allowed me to use all mini calla lillies and orchids as I had wanted. I had also wanted to do my centerpieces all by myself but after she gave me her quote for them, they ended up costing the same! My fiance insisted that since it was the same, I should go with the florist. I was only hesitant because if I made the centerpieces by myself, I can resell the items. Grace even offered to give me tips on how to make it myself I wanted to! I am glad I didn't do the centerpieces myself! It's so much work and stress for the day before the wedding. After signing a contract with Grace, she allowed me to contact her whenever I wanted to change the flowers if I needed to. One month before the wedding, Grace came back into contact with me to make sure if I wanted any changes. She made sure that I was absolutely satisfied with everything on the contract. On the day of the wedding, all my flowers were set up and arranged exactly as planned! All deliveries were made to the correct places and on time. The only thing that was late that I know of were my hair flowers because Grace had forgot them back at home but it was delivered to me as soon as possible. The set up and tear down was efficiently done and I didn't even see the crew do it! On the day of the wedding, I had a memorial table set up for my dad and Grace even put some flowers on that table when I completely forgot to ask her to add some there. I would have never been able to afford our beautiful flowers if I didn't go with Grace! I believe she is the one of the vendors that went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me! One of the main flowers she was using came in a color a few shades off from what I originally envisioned. She contacted me to notify me and to let me know she was going to try to do whatever she could to find a wholesaler that had the right color. I appreciated this call, from what I hear most florists will just use what they get and not notify you. So you are surprised, and disappointed without warning. I let her know, if that's what we got, then that's what she'll have to work with. Regardless, she combed the city, found the flowers and additional flowers to add in my color. In reference to other reviews regarding her unresponsiveness. I never had a problem. While she wouldn't always respond immediately to emails, she would always return them. I asked for 4 different but cohesive looks because I wanted each bouquet to be a single color.... then I needed coordinating boutonnieres for each groomsman and then coordinating flower fairy wands for each flower girl... then coordinating flowers for everyone else in my large (50 person) Wedding Party. She said no problem without skipping a beat and started giving me examples of flowers she was thinking of using for each color. Every bouquet, boutonnière, fairy wand, corsage, etc. was beautiful and then she brought each flower into my bouquet to tie it in together. For the reception I told her I wanted a variety and I wanted them to be bold. She created three different centerpieces in varying heights. When my husband and I walked into the room it literally took our breath away. Not only were the centerpieces beautiful but the cocktail and lounge area had flowers as well making the whole room look amazing! Grace is super friendly and brilliant at what she does! I had a wonderful experience working with Grace! She did a creative number on our tablescape and truly transformed the room. I told Grace that one of the most important things about the decoration is that it needs to breathe vintage elegance yet modernly chic. It's important to me and my parents that the things in the room looks luxurious, rather than aged. She immediately understood what I meant and suggested that we take advantage of crystal candelabras and utilize candle lighting to luxuri-fy a room. When the proposal that Grace gave surpassed by budget, she graciously accepted the task to trim down the proposal, cutting out small things here and there so that we can have it under budget, but still maintaining the overall feel of the design. She was also able to design a bouquet that was not only beautiful but hid a GoPro camera without anyone noticing. Grace is really great at working creatively. When I showed her a picture of what I want my guest book to be like, I asked her if she can recreate it. When I saw what she had done at the reception, i was totally blown away. I have a pretty large budget for flowers for my wedding (8k) and was so excited to use Vale of Enna after seeing Grace's stunning work at one of my friend's weddings. However, despite 3 emails and several phone calls, I have yet to receive a single reply. I'm not sure if my budget isn't large enough for her, or if she is already booked on this date, but there has been no response whatsoever. When making this significant of an investment, baseline professionalism is a must, which Vale of Enna does not appear to have. So disappointed because their flowers appear beautiful, but I don't think it's worth the stress of lack of response and reliability. My first meeting with Grace was very pleasant. She was polite, paid attention to what I wanted and gave many suggestions on how to spruce up my center pieces. It also helped that her studio was spacious and adorable which gave me the impression that she has an impeccable eye for beauty. Having compared portfolios of various floral vendors, Grace's work stood out to me because her arrangements paired colors, tones, sizes, shapes, and textures beautifully to create a visually stunning work that was spot on with the setting/event her flowers were being used for. I hired Vale of Enna as my wedding florist and they far surpassed my expectations. The floral was absolutely beautiful, and the color was spot on. I chose a bold, cobalt blue which is sometimes hard to translate into floral due to natural variance. The centerpieces were absolutely lovely and the bouquets were *perfect*. I don't write many reviews, but I'd like to tell everyone how awesome Grace has been to me!! I'm really surprised to read so many reviews about the lack of communication because that's the main reason I found her yelp page- to say how professional and great our conversations have been. She replies to me usually within a few hours answering all of my millions of questions that I throw her way! Like, EVERY question. ...You know when you email someone with a list of questions and they respond and only half-answer like one or two of them? Yeah, not her. She's all over it. She mentioned that she would be busier than normal this week because of Valentine's day (totally understandable) but has still responded to my emails quickly (I haven't even noticed any delays!) and has created a time for us to meet 3 days before Valentine's day because that's the only time my fiance and I could make it work. It's hard to find a vendor like Grace! ...I'm tempted to just ask her to plan my wedding (and life) because she's WAY more responsive than my own wedding coordinator. FINAL ADVICE: Look at her pictures and fall in love with her work. Send her an email! If she doesn't reply within 1-2 days, send her a friendly follow up and you'll be back in action :) read more

They're talented florists with great decor options, and I really enjoyed our wedding consultation. However, as others have said, it seems you don't get the courtesy of a response from them, especially if your budget is smaller than what they're used to accommodating. After our initial consultation and several follow-ups (it'd been over a month), it took a warning that I was going to look elsewhere to finally see a proposal. It came in much higher than our stated budget, but I was told we could work together to trim it down. After clarifying our target budget, I was never followed up with again. I completely understand needs not matching up, but you shouldn't ever ignore/dismiss a potential customer; that's poor service, business acumen, and manners. Plus, if a certain budget was required and so important to them, they shouldn't have wasted anyone's time in the first place. I wish I heeded the warning from other reviewers, but I'd hope it was a fluke or bad timing. But this is clearly a pattern, and you can't afford to take chances when planning your wedding. If you can't provide good service and communication when you're trying to win my business and thousands of dollars, how can I guarantee I won't be treated poorly after I book you? I would never book a vendor I can't trust. read more
