    Small $75 bouquet

    Sorely disappointed, i was so excited to love this place. Overpriced small bouquet of common flowers. Additionally the bouquet did not match the description i provided (dark deep colors), there was no call for follow up direction despite putting the order in 3 days in advance. Their website laudes them as a high quality and unique bouquets but you could easily go elsewhere for the same bouquet at half the price.

    I was torn on writing this review after receiving my Valentines Day bouquet from here. I had asked my boyfriend to order from Field & Florist because I had been following them for a while and love their designs. He requested specific flowers I like i.e. ranunculus and peonies and asked specifically that tulips and the like were not to be included. For $125 delivered, he was promised the bouquet would be "substantial." Substantial it was not, sadly. The bouquet was very pretty but very tiny for what he paid. I thought it was a decent bouquet for the $60-70 I thought he paid until he called me disappointed saying he had spent $125 on this arrangement. I understand the flowers he requested are not cheap but there were not many and the rest was made up of stock flowers and tulips. I still enjoyed them and I think the bouquet was arranged beautifully. There is just better value to be had elsewhere.

    Field & Florist was a dream come true for my wedding last summer! They did so many beautiful arrangements for my wedding day, but my favorite things were: 1) they created a beautiful flower veil for the ceremony tree at my wedding venue, and 2) they made me beautiful flower crowns for myself and my bridesmaids! Heidi is amazing to work with, she was so accommodating and easy to talk to. She really helped me to make my vision a reality and I couldn't be more grateful for all of the hard work that her and the Field and Florist team did for me!

    My fiancé got me flowers for Valentine's Day and gave them to me yesterday. He was a little disappointed with them because he said he spent $125 and was expecting something a little nicer and I have to agree with him. Every year he has gotten me flowers from a florist in Lakeview which have been gorgeous but we recently moved to wicker park so he tried a new florist. Although the flowers are pretty, they are underwhelming for the price. I would think a bouquet like this would be $75 not $125.

    It was an absolute joy to work with Field & Florist for our wedding! Molly was so sweet and helpful from our first phone call, finding a way to work within our budget, making everything easy, and running with my loose vision to design absolutely gorgeous arrangements for the wedding. I love their creative, organic style and was just blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Love F&F!

    Absolutely one of my favorite Florist locations. It is such a cute and cozy spot .I seriously come here every weekend to grab new stems. The ladies are so helpful and friendly. Not to mention as they are women owned, my company specifically works with women & minority owned vendors- they did a wonderful job supplying floral arrangements for an event.

    This is the cutest, most lovely little flower shop I've ever been to. The staff was really helpful in helping me decide on flowers for my weekend guests that would match the decor in the guest room. The flowers are also local (Michigan I think? Or elsewhere in IL?) and fresh. They stayed good for like two whole weeks which is a record for me.

    I was sent an absolutely lovely thank you bouquet from Field & Florist and both I and the sender cannot praise them enough. The ordering was easy and the sender trusted F&F to design something tasteful and modern without much direction - they did just that. Upon delivery, both the driver and the shop called my cell because no one answered the (busted) doorbell. It was a very hot day and they did not want to have to leave the bouquet out on the stoop - great service. It's been several days and it's fresh, slightly fragrant and so elegant. Thank you, F&F!

We stopped in Thursday before Mother's Day on a large last minute decoration request for our job. It was my first time there and I've never bought flowers in bulk so it took us some time asking questions and running numbers. The first interaction that left a bad taste in my mouth was a worker barking at me to stay away from the carnation buckets that another worker had said I could choose from. "There's nothing back there for little girls" was his way of telling me, a 33 yr old WOMAN, not to pick from the carnations. I wanted to immediately leave, but knew we needed these flowers and this may be the only place we can find a large amount last minute. Then, when we finally were ready to check out, the owner (or the man behind the desk) was adamant that our client's card numbers weren't going to work because he needed 16 digits. I explained AMEX only has 15. It seems their systems are dated, so the owner had to call the card reader vendor which held things up and a line began to form. We didn't want to cause stress for anyone so we assured him multiple times he can take other guests before us so they didn't need to wait. He declined and continued to insist that it was our fault we didn't have the correct card numbers, but continued to speak with the vendor (who later confirmed that AX only has 15 numbers...). None of the other customers were complaining at all..but the WORKERS started making unnecessary and rude comments about us and how long it was taking. I was on the phone with my boss trying to figure out another option while the owner was on the phone with the vendor and things were feeling really stressful already, let alone having staff talk about us in front of the entire store. "This has turned into so much of a nightmare." "This is ridiculous." I told one of them that we had offered for others to go ahead of us in line, but he said they couldn't because the car had been loaded already. Finally, I was so stressed that I put it on my personal credit card just to get out of there. Rushed out of there with my receipt only to see they had unloaded my car- so now I had to wait for them to reload...after they were rushing us! Never in my life have I been heckled at by the employees of a business where I am spending $1000...I was shocked and felt disrespected..like they thought we didn't have the money to cover our bill, and that just because we took longer than an average transaction, we were inconveniencing them. The only reason I decided to still purchase with them is because it was last minute and right before Mother's Day and our options were slim. But to choose to return...absolutely not.
