I had spent a ton of time planning a full weekend of events for my son's bar mitzvah and then a few days before realized I hadn't ordered flowers for our Friday night dinner for out of towners. I've had some great experience with local florists in the area, but always up for trying a new amazing business and couldn't resist reaching out to Delores after reading her amazing reviews. Delores made the process super easy. I told her the colors we had in mind and the # of tables/bar and minutes later she sent pics of gorgeous flowers. And minutes after that she sent a payment link. Done and done! After detailing with one detail after another for the weekend I was glad this was easy. They took care of delivering the flowers to the venue the day of the dinner and they looked absolutely gorgeous when we walked in the room- the flowers themselves and the vases they were put in. I even reused them for our Sunday morning brunch and they were still in perfect condition! I will definitely use Luminous Blooms for my floral needs again! read more

Luminous Blooms delivered everything that was promised and then some. Dolores is accommodating, dependable and has vision. She designed arrangements that complemented the wedding. I'm looking forward to working with Luminous Blooms again for future events The Planning: 2 months before my wedding date, my planner convinced me that I needed flowers and directed me to Dolores. Dolores took the budget and the little direction I gave (summer vibes and matching the dresses) and delivered more than I imagined. To ease my bridal anxiety, I met with Dolores a month before the wedding. During that meeting she was prompt, answered all questions, highlighted some considerations that I had not thought of and made it clear that she would deliver the best results and stay within the budget. The Execution: the photos do not do the florals justice. The colors, the ribbons, the vases, all of it really set the tone for the wedding. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were delivered to the hotel early. The venue rooms were setup with centerpieces, greenery, and candles an hour before any wedding events began. I can't even say enough about Dolores! She was seriously the best. She met with us twice in person at the beginning in order to get a good handle on our vision and then executed it brilliantly. There was a moment where we were going to sacrifice our vision due to the cost of vases we were procuring on our own, and she was so dedicated to making our dreams come true that she hired a welder to make the exact stands and terrariums we were looking for. She then painted them with the same paint we had used on other pieces so that the look was cohesive. Not only did she go above and beyond with the centerpieces, her flower arrangements were so voluminous and lush. The bouquets were gorgeous, and the potted ferns we had along the aisle had the thickness, color, and movement we were hoping for. I searched for months for a florist who wasn't doing the cookie cutter wedding bouquet/decor and finally came across Dolores. As soon as she and I began emailing, I knew she was the one. My first meeting with Dolores was amazing, she had me fill out a quick questionnaire before hand and asked if I would incorporate some pictures of flowers I liked. When I arrived, Dolores already had a working knowledge of my vision, helped me identify the types of flowers I was looking for, told me what was in season and helped me pinch pennies. I had been purchasing lanterns in the months leading up to the wedding to use as centerpieces but hadn't really defined a clear picture of how to use them at my reception, Dolores did the thinking for me and the result was beyond anything I could have dreamed up in my head. Can I PLEASE add a sixth star?! Dolores was a dream! My now-husband and I wanted something a little unique. We talked to a few other florists, and they did not seem to be open to other ideas, they were also a lot more expensive! We finally found Dolores and set up a meeting. From the first moment we meet her she was kind and listened. We sat in her front room coming up with even better ideas than I had come to the table with. Throughout the process I would have some other idea and run it by her, she was always more than willing to make it work, or figure it out. We had requested winter fruits and berries, she came back with whole pomegranates!! We requested feathers, she came back with three different beautiful kinds! (I couldn't choose, so we used them all :) ) There was never a task too big or a request too strange and at the end of the day, when we walked in the ballroom for our reception, it was literally a dream come true. So much more beautiful than I thought, and I dream big. Out of all of our vendors, and we had a lot of good ones, she was one of the best!
