In my previous review I did not mention that I was not sure of the size of breasts I was considering. I went to Valencia Plastic Surgery in April to have a tummy tuck done. I went back for my follow up, and told Dr. Hu my concerns about my left side being swollen. He said we would take a look at it in my follow up in Sept. I went back to him in December, as I had just lost my mom and wasn't up for a visit. It was just to take " after photos." I told Dr Hu that the left side seemed to droop a bit and is very noticeable. I told him that when I work out, I can feel sweat under the fold. He referred to it as a " butt crack." I thought that was rude, considering it's my body and his work. I asked about getting it fixed, to which he said he could do, but that I would have to pay for the nurses and operating room! Why would I have to pay for something I already paid good money for in the first place? When I questioned this, to his staff, he called me back and told me he was INSULTED that I had asked why I had to pay for the nurses etc to get this fixed. So now I am left with a butt crack, as he called it. I am not comfortable after his phone call to me to even want to make arrangements, at my expense. I just think he was very rude to call me and tell me he was insulted.... when he himself referred the outcome of his services, a butt crack. Lessons learned the hard way I guess. The one star is because of the outcome. I'm not happy with the results. Side note.. staff extremely friendly. Why did you change your initial response? I have screen shot what you initially wrote, saying I had a " large abdominal pannus" and now I had a complex something or other? Ether way, I asked you about this in confidence, and was upset that you insulted my body. I came to you to correct something I was self conscious about. I paid a good amount of money, and yet you still want me to pay some fees. Well, that won't happen. A shame. I am left with a few things that aren't right with this whole procedure, and you are insulted. So where do I go from here? No where I guess. Stuck with the unevenness. No skin off your nose, you got the money. read more

I had a terrible experience with dr Hu. I had a redo of an old breast augmentation and Fractional Laser resurfacing done 2x. Neither procedure went correctly. Something went wrong with one of the breasts which left me basically deformed. The resurfacing was extremely painful because the technician assisting him had never done it before and he was instructing her as we went. After two times the results were not even noticeable. read more

I underwent a breast augmentation in January of this year and my entire experience was (surprisingly) wonderful. I was nervous about it all of-course but from the day I came in to see Dr. Hu and met Amanda, I felt very so comfortable and at ease. Amanda told me about her own experiences and answered all my (and my mom's) tons of questions. She was so patient and so sweet, it was much more than I could have asked for. Dr. Hu was knowledgeable and extremely professional. I was so happy when he showed up to my surgery with a few different implant sizes incase I had changed my mind... and I had. It was relieving that he had been so prepared; I went into my surgery even more excited and confident. The morning of my surgery I was terrified. I got to the surgery center and again felt nothing but pleasantness & reassurance from the staff. I am so afraid of things like needles & surgery but they all helped me feel so calm and assured to me that everything would go smoothly. I was out completely and did not wake up in pain. I was nauseous for a bit from the meds and felt pressure on my chest, which was definitely not bad like I was expecting. I went home and laid down a bit uncomfortable, but kept waiting for the pain to hit.. and it never hit. I never had to take any of my prescribed medications (but I did take Advil a couple of times). The pain was so minimal I even told a few of my friends that it's much much less painful than getting wisdom teeth pulled. The healing process was pretty simple. I had taken a week off of work so I was home lying down for the first few days. To be honest, I wasn't in pain, I was mostly just bored! I couldn't wait till I could be more active and go back to work. It was the most exciting feeling when I would peek and see my boobs for the first time.. I was ecstatic. When I looked at them for the first couple of days I was so scared because I thought they were going to look different than I wanted, but I soon realized that this was just them still needing to heal. One was healing a bit faster than the other (probably because I mostly slept on one side) but I thought that one was bigger than the other.. I was so scared! And I didn't like the way my nipples had looked. But once they healed they were perfect and even. They looked just like I had said I wanted them too and they do not feel or appear to have implants at all. No visible scars (I chose the option of going through the nipple) and no one could ever tell. Never any complications. I love my Boobs! The price was not bad at all either - they give you one simple final price that includes everything. Once you pay it, you can get your surgery in as soon as a couple of weeks! It was much less than I expected to pay and it was such a pleasant experience with amazing results. I'm so happy! Thank you so much Dr. Hu, Amanda, and the rest of the team/staff. You guys made my experience so comfortable, so simple, and increasingly exciting. I have recommended you guys to all of my friends and will continue recommending you guys! After deciding to get a lil nip tuck I started my research... I researched several plastic surgeons l. I found Dr. Hu through referrals from a couple of friends and researched him as my preferred Plastic Surgeon. I realized after my procedures I had a few other friends who had been to him. I called the office to schedule my free consultation. I was able to get in quickly and at a time that was convenient for me. I was treated very courteously by the staff over the phone and in the office. I met with Dr. Hu and had my consultation he took his time to answer all of my questions and make sure that I fully understood each of the procedures I was interested in. I didn't feel rushed and I didn't feel that he passed over any of my questions without fully explaining everything. He made suggestions and together we decided what would be appropriate for me personally. I was then introduced to Amanda his surgical consultant. She is absolutely amazing. She went over pricing and we scheduled my date for surgery. I was able to get a date that was cohesive to my schedule and I did not have to wait a long time. I was able to get scheduled and have my procedures done in the timeframe that I requested. Along the way I had lots of questions to which Amanda promptly answered and continually made sure if I had any questions or concerns they were all addressed promptly. Amanda made sure that I was comfortable through the entire process. She was absolutely amazing to work with and so professional. I cannot say enough good things about Doctor Hu and his staff l. They are extremely professional and made me feel at ease. I've gone back for a few additional procedures... And I have a few more in mind. But a girl can't tell all of her beauty secrets.
