I can't say enough good things about my experience. I went in for a liquid rhinoplasty, and I have severe panic disorder. I was so nervous that I almost canceled my appointment, but I'm incredibly glad I didn't. The doctor has the best bedside manner I've ever experienced. He was patient, kind, and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. He handled my anxiety with so much compassion, stopping as many times as I needed when I became overwhelmed--even through a full-blown panic attack. That level of patience meant more to me than I can put into words. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained exactly what he could realistically accomplish. He never tried to oversell me or push unnecessary treatments. I even asked about Botox for my upper lip, and he told me, "You don't need it." That kind of integrity is rare and made me trust him even more. I've had a septoplasty in the past, and my nose was still noticeably crooked. After my liquid rhinoplasty, I'd honestly say it's about 85-90% improved. I couldn't believe the difference. The filler alone made the entire visit worth it. The office staff was just as amazing--friendly, welcoming, and understanding from the moment I walked in. This was my first time ever getting Botox, so I'm still waiting to see the full results from that, but based on my experience so far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office to anyone. Get ready to flush your money down the toilet at Dermacure! After spending an average of 10K to 20K a year at this place, I've grown tired of getting screwed over, purchasing syringe after syringe of filler for thousands of dollars just to have unused portions of them thrown out--because Ingber refuses to use the syringes before they expire. Especially after I've asked him to use them for touch ups after multiple visits (which I shouldn't have to make). In the past six years, there have been multiple occasions where he would literally open up a new syringe without either he or his staff bothering to check if I have pre-purchased ones already available. I would often be encouraged to purchase these "specials"--only to have the majority of the products thrown away! It's as if the staff thinks clients are made of money. Since they, and not I, have my medical chart and a record of my purchases, I would expect them to easily keep track of my product in their possession. Especially if I have a partial syringe(s), with the expiration date: this is their responsibility as the physician office getting paid, not mine. Other plastic surgeons I've been to will either inject the entire syringe, or they won't sell it. They also don't tell the client what they can and can't do to their face when the mood strikes them, like Ingber does. On March 10th when COVID-19 was beginning to get increasingly more serious in the media, I had asked about getting a Botox touch-up after I initially had it done on March 4th. Additionally, I had also just purchased a syringe of Juvaderm, which over half was remaining, and wanted to try to use more of it so it didn't get thrown away. When Ingber sets his mind to use filler, he's extremely talented, and can easily use up a tiny syringe of filler when he feels like it, so I knew it was more a matter of he just didn't want to bother with it-- even if I had scheduled the time. The key word here is "when he makes up his mind to do it".... I didn't want to come back into the office if I didn't have to; on March 10th I was at the office for Lisa the Aesthtician. Ingber was standing around the front desk and it was pouring rain. The office was very slow that day. I asked about a Botox touch up and he told me I'd have to come back the week of March 15 because he was going "out of town" that weekend, even though events were being canceled left and right. I had to make another appointment for the following week, March 16th. By March 16th, the coronavirus situation was getting worse. Then, on March 17th I see pictures of Ingber's family on social media, out and about, so I feel forced to cancel my appointment in order to avoid risk of exposure to Coronavirus--especially after I see his family posting selfies with friends and family, running around in public areas. On one Facebook post, his wife makes a remark to me, that she apparently feels is "funny," after I express concern about her not staying home like the rest of us. I didn't think there was anything funny about the virus, and I told her as much. I'm not going to risk exposing myself or my loved ones to Coronavirus because this doctor's family is making poor choices for his patients, his staff and the SCV community. That said, my family is again out $2,400 dollars for filler I won't be able to use before it expires, and a half-finished Botox job I paid full price for. Not to mention the fact that we all have economic consequences from the pandemic as it is. Its people like this taking advantage of others when things are hard for everyone. I'm sure this is money we'll never see again. Really pissed. This is how they treat a loyal customer and their community. read more

So I normally hate to put bad reviews especially when I haven't received services for what I was scheduled for. However, even before getting to the services your front line employees/ staff are the face of the business/ establishment. Unfortunately this is where the review is going for even before being seen by a nurse the scheduler was as rude as rude gets today. To give any one reading this review some background info. I was going in for skin genesis which is basically laser treatments for rosacea. I had originally scheduled it a bit ago I want to say maybe 2-3 weeks ago -on the day of the appointment they cancelled me, due to the machine being down. Even though I had the day off and was disappointed it wasn't a huge deal it ended up working out as I was able to find things to do with my time. Sometime a few days after I received a call to reschedule, although upon checking my schedule. I wasn't to sure of today being a good day due to the pending Memorial Day holiday, going against my better judgement I ended up scheduling. Fast forward today I was called in to work ( work in social services on call schedule for today) in dealing with childcare and everything else I realized until they called me that I had rescheduled the appointment and that I had forgotten to call to cancel in advance. ( pretty sure this is an accidental human error and this happens to humans, right?) Anywho whoever I spoke with was literally the Definition of anti-customer service. She was patronizing, unreasonable and reason why I would never go back. I will gladly support any other medical offices in the area and or anywhere else. I have worked in customer service and have work with large medical hospitals and I can assure you there is a standard of customer service everyone should follow, clearly this was not the case with the lady I spoke with today. She 'got' me to literally say some expletives during my call with her it got that bad, for a customer to have to go this route you literally must've done something to Cause this reaction, and if I have to say it even for me, who works in social services and have kids I am nothing but patient, unless you cross me with a patronizing attitude, that's when I will defend myself. Whomever, this woman is Im almost positive she shouldn't be staffed here as I'm sure this is not a good look. She should go back to customer service training, maybe some YouTube videos on your phone while on break would help, no? The issue could've been handled so much more different if I do say so myself, She argued over charging my card $50 for a late cancellation. When in reality going back to my back story they canceled on me first and given the human error on my end today I would say we were even. I was willing to reschedule but she refused to reschedule and said she would charge me a late fee, now if this would've been my 2nd, 3rd offense and canceled all the time then this makes total sense but for one cancellation, really? When it was a result of a down machine in the first place? I don't think so! Anyway luckily it was solved with my bank and I and will now have to look somewhere else to treat my rosacea. I'm just saying the medical staff probably is great well at least I would like to think so But that lady didn't do any justice for this Medical practice at all, if I were the office manager and or the physician who's running this practice I would reconsider on who I have on my team and have people who can see the grander picture on the importance of customer service. Anyway this was my experience today and honestly it feels great to put it out there and not have it harvest any more anger and frustration in me as at the end of the day the office lost another potential revisiting customer as rosacea is not quite curable so $250 x 5 or 10 sessions or more would've been great money, no? read more

I've been to multiple Medspas before and this is the first one I've been to where I knew I was a lifer the minute I walked in. Starting with Shannon at the front, she is so kind, so generous and has the most amazing skin I've ever seen. Moving onto my injector Kelli. The first time I went to her was for my Botox in my forehead, I have always been insecure of my "11 lines". Kelli worked her magic and poof, insecurities washed away. Yesterday, I visited Kelli for my lips and she took my breath away. Firstly, Kelli's hand is so gentle, I felt maybe one slight pinch my entire visit. The pain was minimal and the bruising even less. Unfortunately, this is a VERY BAD review for this practitioner. Dr. Ingberg was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional when I went in today to discuss the failed procedures- fraxel and peel he and his nurse had done. I informed him that I was very disappointed in how my skin was left after having done the fraxel and peel. He immediately became defensive. He began yelling in an angered tone; talking down to me; invading my space by speaking close to my face while I sat on the medical bed; and putting his fingers close to my face to make his argument that he and his staff had done nothing but to help correct my melasma is extremely unethical business practice and beyond unprofessional. He went on to say there was nothing else he and his staff could do as they had done everything they could to try to correct my melasma. I understand the difficulty of trying to correct melasma, but what is unfathomable is someone who is a "professional" MD and an "educator" can lack empathy for his patients and degrade them in such a way that they are left not only looking physically horrible but also emotionally affected. I invested a lot of my time and energy, but more importantly $3000 of my hard earned money on these treatments done by him and his staff to simply go down the drain! A WASTE OF $$$$. Additionally, I've spent a lot $$$$ on other treatments performed by Dr. Ingber and his staff for the past several years. But to be treated in this form by him, was so DISTURBING that it affected me all day. I felt as though I was reprimanded and degraded. Furthermore, the way my skin was left and how this so-called " professional" treated me is unacceptable and insulting to say the least. I will NEVER step foot in his office! I had an IPL Photofacial done by Dr. Ingber. He hardly explained what to expect from the laser nor what to do after it. He put gauze on my eyes but didn't bother to offer me actual glasses to protect my eyes. When I got home I realized he had lasered off some of my right eyebrow. He also lasered off spots that we never discussed. I had a freckle above my lip that I wanted to keep and he didn't even ask me before lasering it off. After the treatment they compare the found out that she lost hair instead of getting any after the doctor released that he ran away and he couldn't show his face back and they refunded her about $600 ...... but they kept the big portion .... Dermacure Valencia: Do they also sell used cars? So I'm in my mid 20's and I can slightly see a small wrinkle forming on my forehead. I've obviously heard of Botox and have been thinking about having the procedure done for a few months. I googled botox,and Dermacure Valencia came up. The site looked professional so I made an appointment. Big mistake! After I filled out the forms they took me in for a consultation. I've heard this is normal so I was expecting them to go over my medical history and explain the procedure....wow, never bought a used car, but this experience must be similar! I'm an attractive girl and take good care of myself, but they did their best to pick me apart, telling me that I needed to spend $2,000! I have a tiny little line that's just beginning to form on my forehead! They told me that I needed filler for my frown lines and underneath my eyes because of "volume loss", I don't even have frown lines yet, I'm 26! I've heard of aggressive sales tactics before but never thought that I'd experience it with a doctor! So after they make me feel really bad about myself, I once again said that I was only concerned with the little line on my forehead (mentioned this at least 5 times). Finally the doctor relented and said that he would do the procedure but that I should really think about "investing in myself" (yikes!) "I've made it this far", I keep telling myself, "lets get my little line taken care of". The doctor fills up the needle (I think he ended up using a product called Dysport instead of Botox?), and as he is coming towards me with the needle, his hand seems like its slightly shaking! OMG, I'm terrified, I have an older doctor (has to be about 70) hand slightly shaking with a needle in my forehead! I close my eyes and go to my happy place and get through it, but I will never go back! If you want to feel really bad about yourself, get treated like you're buying a used car and be terrified, go to Dermacure Valencia. As for me, I won't be going back. I've seen Dr Ingber before for Dysport. Had to go back as we went light and I liked that he was a doctor as he would understand muscle locations, etc. I decided to return to him for that reason as i was preparing to leave for NYC for a photoshoot for my upcoming wedding and my 30 year highschool reunion is this month. Bedside manner is professional, however I felt like he uses a sales type assumptive close which I find off putting. This time we refreshed forehead Dysport and while doing it he suggested that I have a little in my chin where a couple of small lines were forming. I stated that I thought Botox type injectables were for eye area and up. He scoffed no. . 4 days later half my mouth was frozen and my smile and speech was out one side. I was obviously alarmed. I went back and the best he could do was inject more into the other side to straighten my mouth. I am now in NY unable to properly speak, I cannot form a smile or laugh. I cannot eat without forcing food through the opening in my mouth, can't eat soup, brush my teeth. I'm beyond devastated. There is nothing to fix this and I have to speak to people for my job and look professional. So obviously I cannot support his work after making this choice for me to add more money to the bill. 5 stars and 10/10 experience! I had my appointment today to get filler for my lips(first time) and possibly some Botox for my eyebrows for that awake look. Before my appointment I had actually stumbled upon a TikTok page owned by one of their BSNs Kelli so I was super excited that I was able to book exclusively with her. First thing she did was take some baseline photos of my face and then we discussed what I wanted to enhance/improve on my face. She actually helped me realize that I did not need the Botox and she instead studied my features and suggested either some cheek filler or smile line filler. I really appreciated her giving me an honest opinion about what procedure would produce the most attractive results; she also didn't try to upsell me more expensive products/procedures which really made me trust her. We decided on some cheek filler to give me that "snatched" lifted look and I was SO impressed at the placement and instant effect it gave me. Next we did lips and I won't lie it was painful (but bearable). We did 1/2 syringe on my lips snd I will return within 6 months to get the rest. Even though filler usually takes weeks to fully settle I could tell instantly how amazing it looked. Kelli's talent and professionalism was UNMATCHED. How about a Male's point of view? I've been to Dermacure Valencia on about 4 occasions. Now not for Botox, but I have an acne problem. Here's my thoughts on my experience. 1. The consultation is all about finding out your expectations, why you are there, what's the ideal results you are looking for. Not pushy at all. 2. Staff is great. Not only to look at ;-) but also professional and courteous. 3. Never saw the doctor, but look up the guy's credentials. I'd rather put my trust in doctor w/ EXPERIENCE than some yuppie fresh out of med school. To summarize... you can trust this place. Every I know that's been there loves what they do and how they do it. How did I find out about them, my wife and mother-in-law are customers. They somehow convinced me to give it a try and I'm happy I did. As for my acne, it's under control and not nearly as bad as it was. BTW- check out the "filtered" messages.
