At my last appointment, I asked for a more balanced lip shape. Either even upper and lower lips or a slightly fuller upper lip. I was told that this type of lip shape was something "only colored women have." At the time I didn't fully process how inappropriate that comment was, but looking back, it was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. If the result wasn't suitable for my anatomy or couldn't be achieved safely, that could have been explained without bringing race into the conversation. I don't care how long ago it happened. It was not okay, and I think people should be made aware of the kind of comments that were made during my appointment. Consultations should be based on anatomy, safety, and the client's aesthetic goals. Not racial stereotypes.

He handled my anxiety with so much compassion, stopping as many times as I needed when I became overwhelmed--even through a full-blown panic attack. That level of patience meant more to me than I can put into words. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained exactly what he could realistically accomplish. He never tried to oversell me or push unnecessary treatments. I even asked about Botox for my upper lip, and he told me, "You don't need it." That kind of integrity is rare and made me trust him even more. I've had a septoplasty in the past, and my nose was still noticeably crooked. After my liquid rhinoplasty, I'd honestly say it's about 85-90% improved. I couldn't believe the difference. The filler alone made the entire visit worth it. The office staff was just as amazing--friendly, welcoming, and understanding from the moment I walked in. This was my first time ever getting Botox, so I'm still waiting to see the full results from that, but based on my experience so far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office to anyone. Good luck trying to call and reach an actual person to resolve an issue. When appointments are canceled last minute, I have been told the next available appointment is a month or more out. I've had appointments canceled when I was already due for service, only to be told I couldn't be seen again for a month to a month and a half. This is absurd considering the cancellation was not my fault. Even more concerning is that the salon keeps clients' credit cards on file, yet I have still been unable to reach anyone to confirm that my information has been removed. It's especially frustrating as a long-term client who has always shown up on time, tipped well, and been flexible when scheduling issues came up. At times, it feels as though clients are treated like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. At this point, the lack of professionalism and reliability has simply become ridiculous. I have used multiple services at this salon, but I will be taking all of my business elsewhere.
