I know the Doctor is aware of this and may have been the doctor herself. I explained my situation and every time I gave my information they would come up with a new question. Finally I said please email me and tell me everything you need. They don't do email and they don't do phone calls..JUST TEXT! They said they needed my files from my last suboxone doctor. I kept telling them my situation and they seemed to just send texts out but not read incoming ones. More frustrating than you could possibly believe. They gave me no fax number or way for the VA to contact them. I text that to them and the little girl told me that since I won't comply with their requests Dr. April Roberts won't accept me as a new patient. Basically they couldn't charge me the usury intake fees because I am on maintenance phase and they didn't like that. Not all doctors are money hungry and as unprofessional as this one, but I will be sure to warn all others looking for help that this is not the place to find it! Thank God there are other doctors in the area that are taking patients. At least we agreed on one thing. I had made an appointment with another doctor and five minutes later I got a text advising me to do the same thing. Too much power and to serious a matter entrusted to someone so unprofessional.

I wrote something like "next wed." And she spent 60 minutes telling me how aghast she was. Why is she texting instead of checking her calendar anyway? Most people wouldn't even respond. Her insistence on patients paying for a minimum of 4 sessions at a time is a grievous burden. Most people cannot manage $800 at a time. She continually mentioned she thought I was well-off and couldn't I just "stop working." I could tell she had no idea who I was and what my situation was. Several times, she took texts or even calls during my appointment from patients "in need." But on my last appointment ever, the day before I was to have major surgery, I needed to use the bathroom, was locked out of her office. She didn't open her office until 20 minutes after my appointment. I had left to go find a bathroom.  She hadn't even noticed my texts asking to be let in to use her bathroom.   She is a "truther" and goes on tangents about the government and how big brother is watching and that the Newtown shooting and the Boston Marathon bombing were staged and actors played the roles. Also, the largest problem for me was that after going to her for almost two years, I never learned any tools to handle my issue.  We never discussed techniques, approaches, etc. She would just repeat back to me whatever I said, in question form. Finally, the 2 times she charged my credit card without my permission really threw me over the edge. The first time, I changed from once a week to twice a week, she told me weeks later she had charged me the $100 difference for the rate, without my permission. After leaving me out in the cold 20 minutes past my appointment time, she charged my CC she kept on file.  This was so scary to me that I stopped all my credit cards, unsure who had done what. When I found out it was she, I was disappointed.

Did an exam not the full but something since he is not sure he already sent me for some testing. Labs which ones not sure, MRI of the brain, EMG. The only thing maybe he should of MRI my neck and back to. But one thing at a time. Office pretty good. I hope he will not give up on me or make a snap closed minded DX on what is going on with me. He seems like willing to help but we both need to be confident with each other. He needs to trust my symtoms/aliments, and I need to trust what we says and what testing is being done or testing like MRI not being done. Wish me luck Dr and patients need to trust each other.

He did help me transition from drowning from the pressure of life and family . He pulled me out of dark times and helped me repair myself and my family. When I felt it was time to move on , healthy , he kept the door open . When I needed him years later for the ups and downs of the challenges as a single mother transitioning to empty nesting , he had an appt for me.
