There is a friendly NPS ranger who was available to answer questions. She said that the area gets pretty busy during the summer, but when we visited during the shoulder season there's fewer people. She discussed things to do in the area which was helpful. There's a corner that acts like a small gift shop, although items are a bit limited. That's ok though since you should really be spending time outdoors instead of looking around inside!

The sink is located outside the bathroom, limited vanity space. A towel rack or a hook to hang a damp washcloth or hand towel would be nice. The room I stayed in smelled like chemicals, the beds were uncomfortable, and I found 2 bedbugs on the carpet floor. And the bathroom wasn't very clean either. If you are looking for a cheap room to stay in for the night, don't stay here. The rooms are dirty and the owner can and will rip you off.
