This place is the spot to go to if you need a fresh cut. I have been going to Ceaser since I first moved to Cali and he has never let me down. I rarely let anyone else cut my hair but I have seen the other Barber's do a great job as well. The only downside is that they can get REALLY busy! If you don't call ahead or make an appointment good luck! Especially on a Friday or Saturday. But I went a few days ago and saw them doing construction to add a few more chairs to hopefully help with that. If you are ummm... someone with a certain "texture" of hair like me. After moving back after college, I was looking for a place to get a solid clean cut. I was scared of looking for a new barbershop, but this place sure didn't disappoint. Got my haircut by Rob and he did an awesome job of giving me exactly what I was looking for. What I really appreciated though was the great attention to detail by not only Rob, but the other barbers that were there as well. I was in desperate need of a haircut and having just moved to the Rohnert Park area I wasn't sure where to go, so I jumped on Yelp to check out my options. I saw Valentino's pop up and decided to stop in without an appointment. Even though most of their chairs were full Don still took the time to work with my indecisive self and helped get my hair situation under control with a fresh cut. He even took care in trimming my beard to put the icing on the cake. Valentino's and their staff are a great group of guys that keep a clean, up beat shop. Even though I wasnt the one getting a haircut, from my husband's experience I can say these people know what they are doing. Yes, it is located in little ol' Cotati, don't let that fool you these guys are hip and know the newest trends. I called last minute for my husband and they said they could squeeze him in that day and not only that but there was no wait time when he got there, love it ! I've been to numerous shops around Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and Petaluma this is by far the best. They really know how to cut and style hair. They have the awards to proof it too. This review is for Cesar only. I posted another review about him, but it seems he has moved here now so I am making sure he is getting credit for his work. Upon moving to Rohnert Park for undergrad, I had trouble finding a good barber. After I met Cesar, he became my main barber for all four years of undergrad at Sonoma State university. Cesar is very talented and passionate about his work. Also, he is easy going and easy to talk to. He always lines me up perfectly and comes through with that clean cut. If you are interested in designs in your haircut, Cesar is definitely your man. The first design I had him do was a dragon on both sides of my head. Ever since then, I started challenging him by finding random pictures on google for him to do. He has never disappointed and cuts my hair even better than how I imagined it to be. I really regret not taking more pictures of Cesar's work to back this up. I only have 1 selfie with his wind design. Whenever there is a special event coming up, I always make sure I can come get a haircut from him. I have recommended Cesar to several of my friends and it has been a huge success. I'm a student at Sonoma State so I'm not from the area so I have been in constant search of finding a decent barber. I've been to three or four places in the area and they've been okay, but when I got to Valentino's I knew it was going to be the place. I walked in with no appointment and they happily sat me right away. The atmosphere was dope, there was a couch and a big TV and music playing. The haircut was A++ and all the other barbers looked like they were doing cool cuts as well. I asked for a simple fade with it blended and it was perfect and he also lined me up. The price was very reasonable as well. Overall I would recommend this spot to anyone who asks where to get a cool haircut. Will be back soon! read more

You don't get better! I go to AJ . For women they don't discriminate against gender like so many others in this area. But the vibe here no matter who you are is awesome! Music kicks. Customers are also cool you'll get a nod or smile acknowledging your new cut. AJ is an artist! I can't say enough positive about his place. I have been to a lot of barber shops. But, my experience at this barber shop was a joke. Travis is a joke. He ruined my beard. I wanted less than an inch taken off of my beard and he took off 4 inches . He left wait on my fade. The whole thing was garbage. He was very unprofessional.always getting distracted and Couldn't keep focus. Extremely unfocused. If you want a REAL professional cut, go to barber garage. They take their time and are meticulous. These guys have something you don't see anymore, passion for what they do and for their customers. They aren't doing it just to make a living, they do it cause they love it!! The atmosphere and music and the fact they all made it a point to greet every person that walked in like they were family. Cesar took his time to listen to my son when it came to the way he wanted his hair cut. He didn't rush through the cut and made sure every hair was in its place so much so the next morning it looked as if he had just got it done. When it came to payment and was told it was just $20 for such an incredible style and the time he took to make sure it was flawless I couldn't help but throw in an extra $20 cause service and quality is hard to find now a days. Great barber shop! I took my 8 year old son here when he wanted an authentic Ronaldo haircut, the famous soccer player. It's a hard haircut to master. When we got there, Caesar helped us. He didn't need to look at a picture at all. He knew exactly how to cut and shave. My son loves the haircut and is so happy. He even insisted that we buy him a treat at the mini-mart next door.
