I've received about 10 haircuts and the last few times I was in they trimmed my beard as well. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy coming here. Always a good time, and the excellent haircut and fabulous beard trim are icing on the cake! For decades I've been using hairdressers and spending anywhere from $50-$90 on my hair and it usually takes them about four visits before they can get it right. Yeong has been cutting my hair for years. She does a great job. I came in there with my hair pretty grown out - with the whole COVID-19 thing. And she got it looking real nice in a short time. I remember seeing her right before everything closed down for COVID, and she was ahead of the curve back then on cleanliness. She does a great job of keeping things clean and safe for customers (and for herself). She's quite a talented hair cutter. She consistently gets it right, something for which I am grateful. Lonnie cut my hair yesterday, started by poking my ear with his scissors, producing a small amount of blood. His comment: "ears sure bleed a lot, like noses". My response: "keep your scissors out of my nose!". He then cut my hair. Okay job, but after having a real barber for 25 years, I am still looking. Leaving Lonnies today I was pretty upset!! Not with him or his shop but the lady April who cut my sons hair. Before she even started I told her we wanted to keep his hair long and we were going for a surfer style. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time and money in this place! Blue hair, hair dresser shows up 15 minutes late to open the place, no apologies! This happens all the time I go there, but some how I let it pass because they are open on Sunday's when all other barber shops are close. Then did a horrible uneven job on my son's hair ! There's a woman working there (tall, sounds like Spanish is here first language) who won't cut my hair again. She's rough, banging tools into my head. She also put some gooey crap in my hair without asking (I never use such stuff, don't want if on me). So I'm looking for a better barber shop. read more

I hated my haircut and I asked if he could take a little bit more off the sides and he was a dick about it and just wanted to shave mu head. Lonnie has owned the place for over 14 years. The decor is straight from 1963 when this "state of the art" mid-century modern design barbershop was the latest thing around. Check out the lovely row of waiting chairs that are art in themselves with a deer head on the wall standing guard! Appreciate the synthetic wood (easy to clean!) cupboards with matching custom modern clock over the barber bar. My house is from the same year but no clock like that! Feast your eyes while enjoying a haircut and friendly conversation with Lonnie. Have a donut from the place a few doors down. See if you can get your beard and side burns trimmed the way you like them for Burning Man or the Hand Car Regatta!
