Best meat and three in Anderson, plus a dessert is included. Sandwich plates are also great.

There's outdoor seating (umbrella tables) and indoor as well. A very small strip mall near Lowe's and Target. Staff is friendly and helpful-- though not chatty. VP caters to families, even though the prices are a bit higher than at a crushed ice stand. (Huge difference is that this is shaved SNOW-- and it is way better tasting than the crushed ice). These are more like a gourmet dessert that have "eye appeal" and taste great. (Get small size for your kids they are pretty filling). So to summarize, it's fun because it's not ordinary and the staff takes pride in their creations. Make your own if you're adventurous, which I plan to do next time. Been three times now. I like it a great deal and don't feel weighed down after eating it. Also Fuji is walking distance, if you want to make an evening of it with dinner/dessert. (Oh... don't forget to use the tip jar for the staff)

They freeze the flavor into he ice block and then shave it to the finest powder it rivals a fresh snow fall!! I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch because they were out of the cinnamon roll. They put all the cinnamon roll toppings in it to make up for it though!! The texture is so unique and the topping were great. My husband got the Reece's with peanut butter "snow". It was also amazing. If you're looking for something to feed your sweet tooth come here for sure.

Everything is super clean and almost empty up front. But the colors are really nice and the process is pretty simple. They have about six available flavors any given day, and they frequently rotate. Just recently they started the mini cookies, which is great because I buy these for my staff and sometimes they don't want a giant cookie. So having a mini cookie gives them the option of having a taste of something without having to commit to the whole thing. Usually delicious, these cookies make an impression and are even great for gifts. Gifts. They have gift wrapping available as well. I rated four stars due to the lack of interaction with the staff, and sometimes if you get them on a bad day they're kind of standoffish. But thankfully, most of your interaction is digital and they just hand you your order. Usually they'll give you a smile. I would definitely recommend just ordering ahead and picking up so you can enjoy these cookies!

One side has a bakery where you can watch the delicious goodies being made. The other side is a small cafe. Although there is limited seating I have never had to wait for a table. I haven't gone on the weekend (pretty sure the Sunday morning brunch would be a different story). A friend and I met for lunch at 1:00 pm on a Wednesday. My friend had the Café Club with the pasta salad and a sweet tea. I had the Quiche of the Day, the pasta salad and a hot cup of Clemson Sunrise (Vanilla, Caramel & White Mocha). The pasta salad wasn't my favorite-next time I'll give the potato salad a try. The service and food were very good. The café closed at 2:00 pm. Since we were still visiting, my friend and I grabbed our drinks and walked a few steps to the center of the lovely town square and found a swing to continue our conversation...but that's for another review. The Village Bakery & Café is worth a visit whether it's to grab something from the bakery and enjoy a cup of coffee or to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. Lovely outing.
