Disappointed. The service was awful and the food was mediocre. My sandwich had good flavors but the bottom piece of bread was so soggy from the salad dressing pooled in the plate that I had to use cutlery to eat it. Our waiter took our order and disappeared. We never even received refills. He didn't return until he brought our checks and we had to wait almost 10min after that for him to return to take the payment. The outdoor seating is a nice concept and a good way to people watch but it also seems to make us out of sight and out of mind. This is such a special place. Gives us the same vibes as when we were in Paris last year sitting outside the cafes for meals, coffee, and cocktails. The food here is very authentic, the service about as flawless as you can get. Decor takes you right to a French bistro. We've given Bradbury Bistro three chances, hoping for a better experience each time. The decor is beautiful, and the fact that it's open on Sundays is a plus, especially since dining options are limited when I visit my mom and grandmother. Unfortunately, while the food is fine, the service is consistently disorganized and lacking in proper training. The staff is friendly, but they always seem overwhelmed, which impacts the overall experience. My last visit was especially disappointing. I ordered a BLT without the fried egg due to a dietary restriction. When my order arrived with the egg, I politely pointed it out, and the server took it back. Instead of making a fresh sandwich, they simply removed the egg and sent it back to me. I immediately tasted egg residue when I took a bite and had to spit it out. At that point, I lost my appetite and declined a replacement meal. When we later considered ordering coffee and dessert, the manager approached with our check--without us asking--acting as though removing my uneaten meal was a favor. While she apologized, she also got defensive, blaming the mistake on a busy day. When I mentioned that we still wanted coffee and dessert, she rolled her eyes, checked her watch, and told us we had an hour left, making it clear we weren't exactly welcome to stay. That was enough for us to decide to leave. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has bothered me for weeks. Execution is everything in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, Bradbury Bistro falls short. We won't be returning. read more

The food is pretty good, I love the onion soup here. But if you want to talk with your friends and catchup this is not the place. They technically kick you out if you stay 2 hrs or longer. They have to tell you " hey are you gonna order" I say "no" they said " well if you're not gonna order anything you have to leave" that's the only thing I don't like about this place. which I love this place. Went for Sunday brunch and took out of town guests. It was freezing cold inside making it a very uncomfortable experience. We all ate in our coats. When we asked to have the thermostat adjusted, the waitress gave us the owners phone number and told us we could call.....REALLY??? We went for lunch today. Sat outside. Beautiful patio and ambiance. The turkey /Harvarti croissant was amazing! So was the Turkey focaccia (sp) sandwich. The salad with blackberries was absolutely scrumptious!! All of The food was amazing and the presentation was spot on. I did hate that they served us warm glasses of water. That is such a turn off, Especially on a warm day sitting on the patio. The fresh brewed ice tea was good as was the blueberry/lavender tea but they were all served room temperature with a couple ice cubes. No thought went into serving the beverages yet they were not cheap. I guess it is truly reminiscent of Paris as they are so skimpy on the ice over there. Good lord. It's frozen water. Give me some ICE in my tea!! It's a very warm day, it would've been such a nice touch to be served crispy and refreshingly cold ice teas with our lunch. The devil is in the tiny little details. All in all I did love this restaurant and we are actually talking about going back again tomorrow for lunch . I might bring my own cooler of ice. I went to the bistro with my sister for brunch. It was my first time visiting. It wasn't too crowded, but we waited sat inside and waited forever for a menu. I had to get up and ask for one and was told they were over there...so I got two myself. Then we ordered and got our food, but she did not bring us silverware or napkins. The braised beef was tender and mashed potatoes creamy (although lacking the mushrooms listed in the menu), but wish some vegetable came with. Although a whopping 3 asparagus adorned my husband's plate. The server was conscious of an expressed allergy, but omitted a salad dressing with no offer of an alternative dressing or meal. An absolutely beautiful place to dine! Our bartender Hannah made me a delicious mock tail with lavender and mint that was refreshing and beautiful! She is incredible and we'll be back for sure to see her. We've dined before and enjoyed the food, especially breakfast on their brunch menu. We've previously had small issues with waitstaff not being attentive however Hannah was perfectly attentive and made up for any previous experience. We had hopes! My husband and I have tried this place multiple times since it has opened. Each time we look for improvements or enhancements and always wished the best. It seems to us that a lot of time was put into the decor and aesthetics, which is truly beautiful. However, the business did not go through an adequate R and D process of how in fact a restaurant business is run. It is set up to look like a bistro as if you were on a movie set. But not set up to run as a real life restaurant. It all starts with customers and the service and products that you provide them. The looking at the menu/ ordering process is not smooth. It is actually rather uncomfortable and does not "flow" well. Their price point is high end, but the product and service are sub par. On one occasion we did need to exchange our "chunky" iced lattes for another order. The milk had curdled. Initially we were told it's just because of the milk they use, but we were presented with two new iced lattes from a newly opened gallon of milk and did not have any issues. In terms of customer service, it is just ok (from our experience). For a small "mom and pop" place where owner(s) are present you would expect them to be gregarious to their customers. We love to support local, but have received warmer welcomes at fast food establishments. On one of our visits while sitting outside, we were asked how everything was. We did comment that the music was a little loud, as we did need to shout to speak to each other. We were told , "well, you did choose to sit there". It kind of caught us by surprise, but ok thanks for the information. After recent "issues" have been brought to light, we choose to no longer give it one more try. People should be allowed to give their opinions and share their experiences with honest reviews as I have today, without the fear that they will be trolled. This owner has infringed on people's free speech and genuine opinions by insulting them on public forums and has even gone as far as threatening their livelihood. There are many components involved when deciding to frequent a business. Together all of my components have ended my quest to ever go back to the Bradbury Bistro. read more

Eh.. less than stellar. Owner came up and asked us a question in mid reply she just turned and walked away from us. I mean honestly... don't come over and interrupt and then just walk away when talking too us. Second, when we ordered 2 glasses of wine and watch you open the bottle (and not even a quarter of the way through drinking either glass) we ask to buy it and you tell us no as it's already been opened. Twice now, we've had a bad experience. The first time was when we arrived 1.5 hours before closing only to be stopped as we entered and told they have decided to close early because it was "slow" and they cannot serve us. Second was similar. We arrived at 745pm( more than 2 hrs before closing) on 5-16-25. I asked if we could sit outside, I wanted to enjoy coffee and dessert outside with my family. They didn't bother to take our order outside, we had to counter order. I asked for a plate and silverware to share a dessert with my daughter. The girl behind the counter had the personality of Styrofoam and then proceeded to bring our dessert out in a to go box, plasticware, and all of our drinks were served in to go cups. I brought my daughter's there for the lovely experience of having coffee outside at a bistro served in the pretty China they typically use and to enjoy the live music playing. Instead, we received super dry, unfriendly service, to go paper and plastic and all of the coffee served tasted the exact same even though we all ordered different drinks. I could have stopped at Starbucks if I wanted that and it would have been cheaper. They had a full bar inside, 3 other tables outside and 2 people inside, yet they proceeded to start cleaning and stacking chairs. Management really needs to consider hiring people that want to work. Maybe it wouldn't be "slow" if you made people feel welcome. I have had a few good experiences here but when the bad starts to get equal to the good...you take your business elsewhere. read more

Aside for gorgeous decor, and really impressive coffee, pastries, and menu items, the staff here is friendly, funny, and really hospitable. I was in the area on business, and took the afternoon to spend some time hanging out at the Bistro. This is a really welcoming cafe, with great products and baristas. I lost track of time working on my laptop, and ended up spending almost two hours cranking away on some reports. Definitely an atmosphere that wraps you in. Something weird happened with their reviews lately. A sudden onslaught of negativity, which was clearly coordinated by a competitor. Ignore this, and read the random reviews over the years.
