A food service is absolute amazing. They've got a new chef and a new customer service gentleman out front. I highly recommend it.

"Best chilaquiles" some reviews indicated and that was all it took to convince me. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the spicy, savory, red chilaquiles torta and all the goodness it promised. I got lucky and beat the lunch rush, or so I thought. The restaurant seemed clean but, strangely, I didn't smell food cooking. I walked up to the cashier and was immediately greeted with a smile. I ordered the red chilaquiles torta and I even ordered coffee, as per the recommendation from one of the reviewers. I sat at a table and received my order rather quickly. It was a nice-sized torta with a side of jalapenos. I opened the torta and ... a total letdown. It was actually migas with a red sauce poured over the top. So guess what? Yup, you got it, the totopos (chips) did not take in any of the salsa's flavor(s), or maybe that was also contributing to the problem because it wasn't spicy in the slightest. Tsk, tsk, tsk! The salsa Gods would not approve. Even more disappointing, however, was the fact that it was cold to the touch. How is that possible? I would venture to say that the food was already pre-made and perhaps sat in individual stainless steel pans and then each ingredient maybe was scooped out of their individual pans to make my ... cold ... chilaquiles ... torta. I thought, well, I like migas so let's just go with it. Was the taste its single, most redeeming quality? Well, not surprisingly, it absolutely wasn't. It was a bland, flavorless sandwich, reminiscent of a crappy elementary school lunch sandwich from long ago. Didn't it have beans in it? Why yes, it certainly did. I completely forgot about them because I surprisingly struggled to find the beans. I turned the sandwich upside down and found the most minimal of bean smears. Why? Why so stingy with the beans? It was beans, for God's sake, not caviar! To make matters worse, the beans were equally tasteless and just as cold as the rest of the torta. In my opinion, if a mexican restaurant cannot make tasty beans, it is likely that the rest of their menu options will also fall flat. Wait, what about the coffee? Well, the coffee was typical of any diner, a resounding, meh. It tasted like the most ordinary of coffee. Overall, service was good but the food, well, I'm sorry to say that it needs some serious attention. A lady sitting at the table in front of me did not seem to enjoy her menudo either. Come to think of it, I neither smelled her menudo nor did I see signs that it was hot. All I have to report is that all of my Mexican ancestors cried for me after eating La Conchita's culinary destructions. The food needs seasoning, including salt, I might add. The salsa also needs seasoning and some spice and, likely, more importantly, the food temperature needs to be monitored more closely.

Food is always consistent and service is top-notch. Plus, the frozen Margaritas are some of our all-time favorites. Mi Pueblo also has some pretty awesome salsa and chips. We like our salsa a bit hotter, so we mix their hotter salsa in with the regular. It comes out perfectly. After being seated and looking over the menu, one of our regular servers, Jose, came by to take our drink orders. Two frozen Margaritas, one no-salt, the way my wife likes it. My wife decided on an order of bean and cheese nachos, Nachos de Casa. I ordered the Azteca platter comprised of a sour cream chicken enchilada, cheese enchilada, crispy ground been taco plus rice and refried beans. When our Margaritas arrived, we were both happy campers with very happy tummies. We munched on chips and salsa, sipped Margaritas and had a good bit of conversation going when Jose arrived with our entrees. Yummy, picture perfect. My wife said her nachos were awesome. Mi Pueblo cooks up some really deliciously flavored refried beans. They've got great flavor and are seasoned to perfection. My Azteca platter was more than I could eat. My wife warned me, but I didn't listen. Both enchiladas were packed full of deliciousness. The crispy beef taco was crunchy and wonderful. Rice and refried beans, AWESOME! Thank you, Jose and Mi Pueblo, for a wonderful relaxing time dining and enjoying each other's company. We'll be back many more times in 2026.

Vaquero's is what they really eat. These kinds of tortillas can only be made by the old grandmother's in Mexico, who have never been to the US, and never plan on going. These tortillas here are obviously grown in house on a Metate (ok, I had to look that up), And the meats taste like they are marinated for days, in order to taste like this. My favorite is the Alambre Burrito. If you accidentally order something else in addition to the Burrito, you will probably be taking it home. And when you take home your Taco's, don't forget to take the chips with you. The chips are also obviously made in house, and fried in Lard before coming to every table.

Drinks are a little strange, only a couple options come in cups (unsweet tea, juices) and the test are single serving plastic bottles like you'd get from a store. I've seen this at other places, not a knock on the place, just an observation. Food was delivered quickly and it was super hot (freshly made), which I liked. My burrito was good, the bacon was crisp, not burnt, and the fries and steak were hot. I wish there was more cheese and sour cream in the LARGE burrito, but otherwise it was really good. The surf & turf was good as well. They have a salsa bar with various salsa options you can try/add to your meal. They are spicy and really good!! I think we'll be back to try the fajitas (huge plate!) and some of the other burrito options. They serve breakfast too, so would like to try that as well.

Hubs got the Enchilada lunch, selecting beef and he was very satisfied, everything tasted fresh, and was cooked to perfection, along with looking so visually appealing. Oh, also, their chips and salsa are a TREAT, if you've never been they bring a trio of salsa's, one is a tomatillo based, sweetened with pineapple, it's so bright and fresh, and actually surprised me, I don't believe I have ever had sweet, green salsa, every one at the table should like this, they also have a mild, traditional red salsa, and a smoky, roasted, medium spiciness salsa, all three were delicious! I got the Fresco Salad, and chose beef fajita for my protein. Look, I am not a huge salad lover, but it sounded good, and I was looking for something on the lighter side, UM, WOW! Honestly I can't stop thinking about it lol, first of all it's huge, I was only able to eat about 1/4 or maybe even a little less, before I had to give up, and ask for a box. There was enough left that the next day, I made small quesadillas and split the rest with my hubs for lunch and we both were stuffed. The salad was fresh and crisp, the flavors including the dressing that automatically comes with it is the perfect match up of flavors. I really need to find an Abuelo's while out of town next week lol. Our service was great, Tony was very attentive and helpful, always made sure our beverages were full, and friendly. I will ask for his section the next time we visit! To wrap things up, know that the portions are generous, the food is on point, and the restaurant is large, so they can accommodate groups and parties, the atmosphere is lovely, and decor beautiful and festive , I hope you give them a try.
