As a former San Diegan this is the closest and best taco shop I have found living in the DFW area. It's NOT Tex-Mex (thank God) it is actual Mexican food! The food looked and tasted amazing and the staff were very friendly. The area was cozy and clean. I can recommend this place for sure in case you want some Mexican food in this area. The Al Pastor tacos were full of flavor! They have little area inside to pick salsas, 3 types and you can also get pickled jalapeños/carrots. From the reviews most people's issues are the drive thru. So it's probably better to go inside, I had no issues when I visited and ate in store. read more

I almost didn't go based on Yelp reviews, but I'm so glad I did! First, the man who helped me in the drive thru was so sweet and helpful. I told him it was my first time and he gave me some good recommendations, then when he asked if I wanted salsa, he not only told me about the three they had, but showed me each as he put it in the bag, so I'd know what the heat was when I went to use them. I got the California Burrito - it was huge. The carne asada was tender and well seasoned, the fries were crispy. I also got the pineapple drink - the flavor was light, but very refreshing. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. I think those negative reviews were just them working out kinks at a new restaurant. read more

We had the street tacos which were good. One thing the guy taking our order did actually stood out to me. He was giving us a sample of the cucumber-lemon juice which is great. He accidentally dropped the lid onto the floor and instead of putting it right back on he gave to another person to wash before putting it back on. We will be back, i want to try the torta. The AC wasnt working right but they had a fan in the dining area and the area was clean. read more

Me and my partner had ordered through a delivery service, and we have been fighting food poisoning for two days now. She ordered the elote and she said it was like canned corn soaking in water with spoiled cojita on it, and she is a latina. I had gotten the enchiladas, and over all it was average, but i wish now that I ordered elsewhere. We ordered a serving of tacos which shows online as two tacos but they only give you one for the horrendous price of almost $9 FOR ONE TACO!! The meat was dry and flavorless but somehow greasy on the tortilla, and the tomatoes in the pico de gallo felt like rotten mush and only tasted slightly better than that. The guacamole on the taco was old mashed avocado with little seasoning. Please save yourself from here and NEVER order from here unless you are in person and can complain directly to their faces. read more

Stopped in on Monday at 11:15am. Very excited since I'm from San Diego where this restaurant originated. I ordered on-line, then used the drive thru although it's not working yet, but no problem my order was waiting at the window. ( time from order to pickup was 3 minutes.) I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was cold. Not cold ish but cold. I'm almost an expert on this burrito since I've enjoyed hundreds of them back in So-Cal. I'm absolutely sure that it was prepared long before I ordered it. Cold tortilla, cold meat cold everything. This is my first negative review ever, and I'll probably give it another chance but for now I'll choose elsewhere. read more

Me and my husband ordered 4 tacos and surf and turf fries and 2 drinks the total was almost $50...when we got to the window we ask to take one of the tacos off and the lady at the window told us "no" because they already started making it...we asked again may you please take it off we haven't received it yet, she then told us it would be "bad customer ethics" if we didn't buy the taco, we had yet to pay or receive anything I don't understand why we couldn't take the taco off our order...needless to say we left empty handed. When I arrived, there was no one else here. I went to the counter and waited about five minutes. Then the lady came up and she said just a minute and took an order for the drive-through. So basically she ignored me and did the drive-through order after I had already been here before anybody else. So I turned around and left! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed a DoorDash order that was accepted and marked ready for pickup, then it was canceled once the driver arrived. I called to ask why and they said management was changing and they don't honor those orders. Don't even bother with this place. read more

The food was fast, fresh, and delicious. You can really tell they put effort into both the quality and the service. Even though they just opened recently, everything already feels well-organized and welcoming. I'm excited to see this place grow because it's already awesome. Definitely worth checking out! read more
