It's about six minutes away from I-40 exit 287 (Harrison Avenue - Cary). This Shell station has eight pumps. At first, I tried to use pump 6, but it wouldn't take my card. I then realized there was a handwritten note on pump 6 that said to pay inside. I walked to pump 8 and noticed pump 8 did not have a sign that said the same, so I used pump 8 instead. I paid at the pump as I normally do with my card. I had no issues except the fuel gloves and paper towels were all out on the side of the station I was on. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I use a paper towel to touch gas pump buttons and handles. It was nice they actually had a box of fuel gloves. Costco is the only other place I've seen them. Too bad they were out of both gloves and paper towels. I filled up for $3.419 per gallon of premium, which was expensive. Using the app GetUpside, I was able to get $0.19 per gallon back.
