I paid for the top-tier wash that includes use of the vacuum. On Saturday it was extremely crowded, so I wasn't able to vacuum. I came back today when it was empty and an employee turned the vacuum off while I was using it and demanded to see my receipt. This has happened before, and the employee was rude and dismissive both times. I understand their policy may require same-day vacuuming, but the customer service is unacceptable. Turning equipment off mid-use and treating paying customers this way is not cool. I won't be back. read more

The staff here is super cool and friendly and always willing to help. The car wash is great. They actually have people wiping down your cars. My only complaint and the reason for three stars is the price of E 85. I used to come to this gas station every single day, but they raised the prices of E 85 they are more expensive than anywhere else that sells it Everywhere has it for less than three dollars a gallon but over here it's $3.50 a gallon once they bring the price down I'll start getting gas here every day. This is absolutely NOT the place you want to find yourself if you're experiencing any kind of car problem. While filling up nearly $60 worth of gas, my car battery died unexpectedly. I walked to Denault's to buy jumper cables, and a few kind customers tried to help, but the car still wouldn't start. I called AAA and was told a tow truck would arrive in about 30-40 minutes. Then the employee working behind the counter came outside and aggressively demanded that I move my car--despite the fact that several pumps were still open and accessible. I calmly explained that my car would not start and that a tow truck was already on the way. He walked off clearly irritated. About 25 minutes later he came out again, this time yelling, claiming the car had been there "over an hour" and that we were somehow "blocking customers," even though the pumps were still open and multiple witnesses could see we weren't preventing anyone from fueling. At this point, as a woman, I felt the situation shift into something genuinely unsafe and intimidating. The way he raised his voice, stepped towards me and my car, and spoke in a threatening tone made me consider calling 911 to deescalate the situation. Had my father not been there with me, I honestly don't know how far this employee would have taken his aggression. My father told him plainly, "if he wanted it moved, he was welcome to move it himself." The employee refused but continued to argue. When he declared he'd stand there until the car was gone, we simply told him, "Okay." At that point, other customers began watching the scene unfold, clearly taken aback by his hostility. Only when my father reminded him to return to serving the actual customers inside did he finally walk away. Moments later, the tow truck arrived--taking up two pumps in the process--and jump-started my battery without any issue. Here's the truth: If you experience car trouble here, do not expect empathy, patience, or even basic human decency. The behavior we experienced was hostile, intimidating, and completely unnecessary--driven purely by a fixation on profit, not people. In a community known for looking out for one another, it is genuinely disappointing and embarrassing that this business operates with such a lack of compassion. Car Wash Overview: I would give this car wash 10 stars if they offered. By far the nicest people, & cleanest car wash I've ever experienced in my 79 years. I came in late one afternoon with a car that was covered --every crack, windows, everywhere, in a 2-day thick layer of tree sap! -- I begged this elder gentleman, who greeted me to help me. 2 other car wash places said, "No" go to a body shop, wouldn't touch the car. I was in a panic. My son sent me to Valero. The elder gentleman walked around car, finally said, "of course" we will get your car clean. He said go get the $16 package and drive to the entrance. Next thing I knew he had waved 2-3 younger men over and they huddle, having a chat. One goes and gets a stack of pristine white towels, another is preparing a mixture of some kind, and with all soaking their big, immaculate washing glove into the brew they begin. I'm so relieved! Felt like a surgery, they get the hoses and rinse, scrub, wash, start round 2, working with various size towels. My car is 10-years old, no wax for years...heat had already embedded the sap in. (Thank Goodness there weren't any cars coming in during this car bath.) Finally, the fellows stepped back and began the normal car wash with brushes and lots & lots of soap! The main man is nodding as I drive out the exit! They all begin drying my car, using these white, lint free towels. I saw them doing a few touch-ups, and as I get out to see for myself if they really got all the sap off, the tears came. I couldn't believe my eyes. The car was "perfect", not one piece of this thick stuck-on sap that was everywhere on the car, & windows, rims, & deep cracks, etc. They politely asked if they could do anything else. I couldn't thank them enough! Ever had that feeling you just witnessed a miracle! Make this car wash you forever home. Good people, fantastic service, you won't be disappointed. Today I visited the Valero specifically because they have a car wash that has vacuums. I was verbally harassed by the manager after purchasing a car wash for over 10 minutes because I choose to vacuum my car before going through the car wash rather than after. He made an assumption that I am houseless based on me organizing my luggage (I'm a corporate trainer on a cross-country road trip.) As a single female traveler I was highly disappointed in his lack of professionalism, tact, and comportment. Our interaction could have been simple he could have viewed my receipt and carried on but rather even after providing proof that I had purchased a car wash he continued to harass me for several minutes. Truly cruel inhumane treatment and questions his ethics. Exhibited classist and sexist behavior. So if you're looking for a truly poor experience visit here; Otherwise stay away. read more

Came to this location coming back from a trip to San Diego, I live in Orange County. There were pretty good gas prices so I decided to stop there and opted for a car wash, the $14 one which is the most expensive they had. After I got the gas the pump said it printed my receipt but there was none, so I had to go in the store to get proof of purchase for the car wash. Long story short after being asked to leave the store and readjust the pump (obviously didn't do anything) to come back in and see if I could get a receipt, nothing was found in their system. They couldn't print a receipt or find any proof of purchase so I was asked to call back in another day to get a refund, and that I couldn't get a car wash on that day. Unfortunately the charge had not completely cleared on my card while I was still there. Fast forward to today when I spoke to Alex on the phone who was very short with me. He reviewed the cameras and my make and model and pump I used, and the only refund options he was able to give me was in person. I live over an hour away so having to have a physical card to get a refund is ridiculous to me. The only other option was to get a "code" to redo the car wash another time, but it expires within 30 days. How ridiculous! I do not recommend this gas station at all, let alone the car wash. I recommend everyone else to save the headache and go somewhere else for good service. read more

I like getting a quick car wash especially when I don't feel like doing it myself, but when my car had bug spots or bird droppings on it, I asked the attendant if he could scrub them off for me, but he just looked at me and said "this is a car wash." I guess I went to the wrong place? i had been there before and they didn't wash those spots off. They also use the same towels to wash your wheels as they do to wash your windows, so I have to wash the car before I take it for a car wash and then wash the windows when I get home. read more

Close off the freeway. This location has one of the cheaper gas. The bathroom looks extremely nice. May not be exactly clean but it is so damn pretty. Honestly one of the best Valero that I have visited. Would recommend this being a stop on the way to SD or back to LA and beyond. read more

This gas station is very unprofessional, not the cashiers or the rest of the staff. The main issue is the manager/owner of the facility. I saw in a different comment by another user Shaina W. saying that she was verbally abused! I also experienced the same exact scenario. I had purchased a monthly subscription to get car washes, some days I vacuum my car before i go into the wash, anyways, one day, he just came out and instead of asking for my receipt or sticker, just started bursting out with foul language. I live down the street from Valero and have been getting gas, car washes, and snacks from them for years. Today I purchased a car wash, the $9 wash which I always get. After going through, then tipping the guys who dry $5, I drove to the self-vacuum where the manager ran over and told me I cannot use the vacuum. Only the $11 wash includes that. Paid for a car wash, (had to pay extra for the vacuums too when EVERYWHERE ELSE vacuums are included) and got 5 minutes into vacuuming before they shut them off manually because of the "limit" they set. No remorse. For all those wondering, 5 minutes is nowhere NEAR long enough to effectively vacuum a car. Went back in to ask them to turn it back on and asked if I could read... I went to the Valero today about 4:30 to have my Hyundai SUV washed also purchased a tank of gas I don't think I will ever go back. I paid for the $11 car wash but this is irrelevant when the person was drying off my car, my front windows look worse than when before the car was washed. The rag was dirty and oily, I pointed out that the window looked worse, and he told me I should've told the guy at the other end of the car wash, I had money ready for a tip but I kept. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. While my friend was getting gas, I ran in to use the restroom. When I walked in there was no toilet paper or seat covers and when I walked up to the cashier and asked for toilet paper he told me that they "were all out" then proceeded to tell me "you can buy some though".
