Jose Brito was very responsive. In December, he returned my call promptly and submitted a quote within days. He was equally responsive two days before the event. Their service was impeccable. The drives were punctual, even in the inclement weather, their uniforms were clean and they were immensely polite and professional. They even helped some of our guests in with their packages (above and beyond). We are extremely grateful that Mr. Brito was able to accommodate us on very short notice. Upon arrival at our hotel, we were greeted by the Valet with a big smile and the man even gave me a high five! Once we gathered our belongings, it was not difficult to navigate to our humble abode for the evening. Once inside our hotel room, we were feeling like having a night in, so we decided to head out for some popcorn, soda, and, naturally, a Papa John's Double Cheeseburger Pizza (Although we had to go to the one off of Cermak which set us back a bit - but still a great location!) Once we were back, instead of going to the hotel room, we actually utilized the TV we had brought with us for our trip in the back of the Honda Odyssey and utilized our Valet Parking spot from SP+ more than we thought we ever would! This will be a night to remember from our trip, and it wasn't just because Papa John's was running a promotion for the Double Cheeseburger Pizza, either! My car was STOLEN and I was ROBBED while SP+ Parking had my car, and they have done NOTHING:…read more I stayed at the Sofitel, Chicago (20 East Chestnut Street) on the evening of Friday, June 9-10th, 2017, and at approximately 12:10 AM my rental car was stolen from right outside the hotel, in the valet parking spot. Between Sofitel Hotel, Chicago (owned by Accor Hotels) and Standard Parking, Chicago (dba SP+), neither reached out to me after the robbery. Sofitel reimbursed my $71/night valet, but my rental car, golf clubs, or any of my other belongings that were stolen from their property, are all still missing; two weeks later. SP Valet has not responded to any of my emails, or called me, I was provided the number for Sofitel security where they have the robbery all on surveillance camera, Accor never responded to my emails; nothing. The only helpful person was Mike in Security. Even the very next morning, after a late night dealing with car theft from Sofitel's/SP+ parking spot, in front of their hotel, they took off the valet charge and asked if they could hold my luggage behind the counter while I called my Uber. They have the guy on tape, but they haven't shown the video to anyone . . . wouldn't you want to see if any of the employees saw the guy? Maybe grabbed the license plate of the car they came with (which was a stolen car also). I'm a young woman traveling by myself in Chicago, and live in Ft Lauderdale. Imagine if this happened to your daughter, and the hotel brushed it off like they accidentally charged me for a soda from the wet bar. No one has even asked if I am okay . . . I was ROBBED at Sofitel's Hotel! Hotel's are supposed to be accommodating like your staying at a friends house while your traveling . . . would a friend ignore your calls/emails? A friend not reach out to offer some assistance, or see how your doing? Instead, my friend, Sofitel paid for my Uber, and sent me home; and that was that. It has been almost two weeks, and the car is still missing, along with my only cherished physical item, my golf clubs. However, there is no way for you to re-enter the facility other than calling the help desk (which we did while it was pouring raining outside). Once in our car, we AGAIN had to call the parking lot help desk to let us out (and spending even more time explaining that we used ParkWhiz). This whole experience ruined our date night... and it's still not over since I am now getting text messages about some exorbitant late fee. I am disappointed that this parking lot opted to work with ParkWhiz and have ZERO integration with it.
