Seems to be made with real, fresh strawberries as I swear I saw strawberry seeds mixed in and the flavor is true to real strawberry, not the fake strawberry flavors you might get from extracts. We didn't eat all of them so I got Desert cups from Hobby Lobby and froze then individually so mom can grab one at a time from the freezer when she has a sweet tooth and doesn't have to have a bunch out that may go stale before she can eat them all. Cookies and Cream and Raspberry! The icing was incredible and the cake portions were delicious and just perfect! The other thing we really appreciated was the service. We were met with a friendly smile and we were walked through each flavor and we were also informed that the bakery was donating a portion of anything lemon flavored that day to a local charity! When I called the number a week later, the number was a personal line. So I called the store number and they told me that it wasn't possible that I was given a different number and sounded quite annoyed with me. They don't allow tastings for weddings unless you have 75 guests or more... so I ended up having to buy 2 whole cakes to try 2 flavors and it felt like a total waste of money and was highly disappointed. The frosting was far too sweet and gritty on both flavors - after 1-2 bites I felt sick... and I LOVE frosting and sweets. Additionally, after 1-2 days the raspberry filling in one of the cakes had gone sour and started to mold. Really bad experience and was really let down by the customer service and the product itself. :(

For jarring my memory and giving me memories to fix not writing a great review for this place. We traveled to Brevard back in 2022 for one of our annual leaf viewing tours. Fun fact about Brevard! There are white squirrels everywhere. There are also regular brown squirrels too. My wife told me about this before we got here but it's strange, there are so many of them. One of the oddest things I find is that there are no mixed squirrels. Like kinda brown, or kinda white, it's either one or the other. They hang together, surely they get it on. What the hell is going on here?!?!? Where did they come from? Why haven't they spread to other areas?? Anyway.... About this bakery. We stopped by here a few times for meals and snacks. Most of it was just pretty good and nothing to really write home (lol) about. I did not know this at the time and did not truly savor the moment well enough. I had the absolute best pastry I have ever had in my life here. I often think back to it and when I see a similar looking pastry only to be let down when I try it.
