We have heard a lot about this bakery and yet did not know where it was even though we have been by it many times to go to Landrum or back to Tryon. Crazy how you can go by places and not see them. Even the morning we came we drove right past it again knowing they were somewhere in the area we were. I ended up putting it into the GPS and found it! A big place with outside seating and tables inside. The place was packed! Everything was picked over pretty much by the time we got there. The donuts were limited to what we got. They only had the muffins we got as well. They had a big selection of baked breads that looked real good. There were some beautiful cakes for sale too. We will have to go earlier I guess to see what else they had to offer next time. Definitely worth going back sometime. read more

I moved into town and I was looking for a nifty coffee shop to hang out and one of my friends said go check out this place and get a loaf of bread because you will regret not getting it. Everything was outstanding and got sugar high because I ordered five pastries and tried to devour all of it and one sitting. I couldn't believe how delicious these cakes were and I love that they don't sugar things because I want to taste the quality food not just plain sugar. One of my favorite places! I'm there several times a week. Their Cafe Ole is my favorite drink as well as the home made gluten free blueberry muffins. The bakery items are displayed so artistically and the assortment is huge. The sitting area is comfortable and intimate whether alone, with friends or working on your laptop.
