I'm genuinely saddened to write this review. I trusted Valis with my $3,000 custom Indo-Western wedding gown and spent nearly $1,000 on alterations with them. The gown was made to order overseas, and I thoroughly inspected it upon arrival-it was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, after taking it to Valis for adjustments, we received the skirt back discolored and burnt. It was very clear that the damage was caused by improper steaming. The most upsetting part wasn't just the damage-it was that they refused to take responsibility and instead tried to claim it was already in that condition. No apology, no accountability, and to make matters worse, they still charged us an additional $300 right before we left. For anyone with high-value or sentimental garments, l urge you to take them elsewhere. read more

They took my fiancé's dress from something she was ok with and made it into something she fell in love with and we agreed was absolutely perfect! The ladies in there are meticulous in their work and even more engaged in helping you look great and leave ecstatic. They give amazing recommendations and have a great eye for how things will look on you. They are all genuine and lovely and truly felt like they were our biggest supporters. My suit turned out wonderfully. We were so impressed and we will be customers for life, including the daughter's wedding dress for next year! They will ruin your clothes. They can't even hem your pants, one side is longer than the other. My dresses were ruined to the point they can't go back to fix it. This is a cleaning service, not professional tailors if you have low expectations. They overcharged for their mediocre service. read more

Vali's alterations saved the day! I took my bridesmaid dress to another place and let's just say, I am not a seamstress and I could have done better. So I took my dress to Vali's two days before I needed it done, and they not only fixed the dress, but they were so incredibly sweet. The owner even stayed two hours past closing to finish my dress in time, had me try it on and make sure it was correct, and was so happy she could help. She was incredibly sweet and focused on quality work. I felt so bad about bringing my dress in to have rushed alterations considering they are so busy, but they were so happy to help and I appreciated it so much! They added bra, hemmed it and added a slit. Even flipped the upside down strap the manufacturer messed up. They also put together a custom vest for my husband and son. The turn around time is great. We took my daughters wedding dress to Vali to be altered after receiving it and it being too large and the bodice too low. Vali basically had to remake the dress 3 weeks before the wedding. I took my bridesmaid dress here to be altered. Not sure who did the measurements for me but she was awesome! Made me feel super comfortable and assured me that my dress was a perfect choice for my body. She was full of compliments. She gave me options on how I wanted it to be altered and showed me what it'd look like each way, while giving me her professional opinion. I think she ended up giving me a good deal but I ended up paying $75 for all the alterations. I wasn't in a rush to get it back so it was ready for me a week later. The dress came out perfect! I took my mother-of-the bride dress to Valis for alterations. A few days later I received a call that my dress couldnt be completed because the owner and 3 of her seamstresses were very ill with COVID. When I received that call I was already developing symptoms and I too tested positive, and my husband and I were unable to attend our daughter's long awaited wedding and reunion of friends and family. I learned that the owner and seamstresses were unvaccinated, and no masks were being worn when I went in. This is total negligence and I as avaccinated person wonder how many other brides and their families were impacted by this toxic business. Warning, stay away from this place. read more

She helped modify my engagement dress by making it more into a sweetheart neckline, adding a belt, and making the sleeves a little bit longer.. I honestly couldn't be happier! The women at Vali's are AMAZING!! You would be amazed at what these women can make happen! Four days before my friends wedding, I realized my bridesmaid dress would not zip and I needed it to be let out. I went to Vali's on a Tuesday, and within ten minutes they had my problem figured out and I left feeling so relieved. The ladies worked their magic and were able to add fabric to the sides of my dress, in order to give me more room. AND the dress was ready two days later.
