I don't know what happened with the other two reviews and their situation. I will write exactly what with my personal experience with Maria. It will be long. I found the breeder on Akc suggested Breeder list a few years back probably in 2016. I first got my girl and then my boy from her. My husband and I drove to Wenatchee from Seattle to see my girl . She was so precious I squeaked . I said hi to her and didn't want to let her go/ We met up with Maria and her son but asked her to hold my baby for me till I pick her up later . Maria held her for me with no extra charge because I couldn't take her right away. My mom was dying at hospice due to brain cancer and I couldn't take my baby across border. She was a pup she couldn't get rabies yet to cross into Canada. I personally chose to pay maria $1200 the whole amount in cash on the day 12/23/2016 I met her with receipt ( call me crazy maybe i trust people). She and her Son also came to meet me the night before Xmas eve the day after I contacted her. Then after i settled personal issues ( my mom passes away that xmas) I went to pick my baby girl up the day before new year. I wasn't sure if Maria could meet up with me since I told her I don't even know when my mom's situation will end. She understood and told me whenever it ends she will meet up with me. I still remember driving with my husband to pick her up! It was snowing was bad that year and the road was hard to drive. The 4 hour drive almost one way from Seattle. But we were so excited! My girl was the best thing that happened to me that year. Personally I was struggling a lot. Maria handed her to me she was wrapped with blanket and she gave me her medical records. Her paper work came later we did have to request it twice ( I don't know where i put it or else I would take photo/post ). We took my girl to the vet two days later to do her check up. My girl was healthy and Maria told me what food my baby was on. When my husband and I wanted to get another chihuahua naturally we contact her in 2017. She gave me few options and I ended up picking my little one. She send me a photo of him biting the nosy of a garden statue :3 he was so naughty. He use to sneak to the backyard to get dry peaches since Maria let him free roam. Maria also let him sleep with them. He is a very mischievous but happy chichi. Wiggling his tail at us and licking us non stop. No sign of neglect or abuse. Even at dogie training class his trainers applaud him for his personality.They said he is a good candidate to be therapy dog since he is so friendly to everyone. He adjusted to my other 3 dogs very easily and has no aggression issues what so ever. Both of my dogs came smelling extra good. I have met up with Maria when she came to Seattle to visit. I have seen my girl's half sister. Maria brought her over to show me. Both of my babies remember her and loves her. My boy just ran straight to her licking her. I know she treat her dogs very well. A vet suggest she remove the eye of one of her dogs she asked around and found a vet that would save her the dogs' eyes. I am not sure what other experience they had but I know one other person whom also had positive experience. My girl weight 5 lb and boy is 3.5 lb no health conditions and very great personality. I would buy from her again. They show no back yard personality. Maria shows her dogs at shows and is her hobby. Maria still contacts me for update on my babies and ask for photos etc. She also updates me sometimes on my boys' half siblings etc and show me new fur babies. I just happen to see the two negative reviews and decided to share my positive experiences. Not sure what happened with those but I paid cash both and never had issues with Maria ( unless it's a different Maria which I don't think so) . Mine dogs were $1200 and $1600. Btw I am not related to her or involved in her business. I am also not paid by anyone nor get refer fees. You can check my yelp review history, I like to share my entire experience with photo ( proof). I happen to see a "scam" review with her business not sure what happened. But I defiantly did not experience nor the other buyer I know. Also i see others who bought from her posting on fb as well and they also didn't have issues. I trust her and will be buying from her in the future as well. Also my dogs did come with paper works etc. Nothing was " fraudulent" with my experience. Tbh i was shocked to see the other review but I wasn't there. Maybe miss communication happened or sth did happen I can't say. Her Son usually helps her because English is not her first language.Also her site changed since not sure what happened tbh. btw I attached photos of my dog that I have gotten from her. SCAM ALERT! This is not a breeder, it is a scam artist. I put $300 down on a dog and then was told it passed away. The few photos I saw (she would not send more) was of a dog that was healthy and a few weeks old. No legitimate breeder will accept money if there is an indication of sickness or not eating. Nevertheless, I want to put that down payment on a dog from another breeder but I cannot seem to get my money back. Maria Medrano from Vallarta Chihuahuas is a thief. Unfortunately, I was the next one in line to be played and ended up with an expensive lesson - putting a cash down payment on a dog that didn't exist. I am writing to give my impression of buying a puppy from Vallerta Chihuahuas on Puppy find. I wanted to get a good quality Chihuahua. That is why I agreed to the price of 800.00.I was not looking for a show dog, but one that clearly showed good Chihuahua breeding. And since she breeds for shows I assumed that the dog she was selling was from her breeding. My mistake. Never assume. I should have asked the seller if she bred this dog, because I believe she sells dogs from other sources. So I suggest that this is a question a buyer should ask. Did you breed the dog? Prove it! In my first inquiry via e-mail I asked the weight of this 6 months puppy. I did not get a reply to that and was distracted by how was I going to pay and how to get the dog to me. On her website Valletta Chi's says that if you are going to pick up the puppy in person you can pay cash. She suggested that I could pay through Western Union and that raised an alarm with me right away. I was going to meet her handler at the dog show and I told her that when she handed me the dog I would hand her the cash, But she did not want that. So I ended up sending her a check. That was for a downpayment for the dog. Then I sent a check for the final payment of the dog and its transportation to the dog show and although she got my first check and it went through, when the second check that I mailed on a Monday didn't get there till Saturday she was really upset. And I thought why are you upset - you have my money and I don't have a dog. I was ticked off. . So that Saturday after she called me and said she had got the check, I cancelled both checks and told the handler that I would have cash for her when I got the dog from her and she said that was fine. I picked up the dog at the dog show. I was disappointed he was much bigger that I expected but I paid for it and I guess he was mine. This dog weighs 9 pounds. He is an attractive dog and has a nice personality. But he does not look like a Chihuahua to me. He is 9 pounds - too big for a well bred chihuahua. The dog was advertised as an AKC dog and that too made me think it was well bred. However I have never received any records of any vaccinations and I did not receive its breeding papers. No information on the dog at all.I have requested these records three times so far. I purchased the dog in September of 2017 and I am writing this February 2018. S If I ever get another dog online I will take a screen shot of the ad - so I can look back and see exactly what I they were selling. 800 dollars is too much to pay for a dog that I believe you could get from a shelter or from a backyard breeder.
