The theater seems to have a good HVAC system as it was comfortable inside. They have a wonderful collection of performers with lots going on each night. We saw Sutton Lee Seymour who was hilarious, clever and talented. We both ordered peanut dust martinis - would recommend! Comes with popcorn, too. Paying with pesos/cash allows for an efficient exit.

I really wanted to give The Palm a full 5/5 because, in many ways, it deserves it. From the moment…read morewe walked in, the service was incredible--from the door all the way to our seats. The staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of right away. Our first night, we saw the Beyoncé show, and it was an absolute 10/10. The queen who performed was phenomenal. From the live singing to the dancers, the stage presence, and even the storytelling woven into the performance--you could tell real effort, time, and heart went into that show. It truly felt like a Beyoncé experience, and the bar was set extremely high. Saturday night, we came back for the Lady Gaga performance. It was different. I thought it was good, just not really my jam. The drinks were noticeably watered down, and after spending $84 USD to get in and about $170 on tickets and drinks, I left feeling disappointed--especially when the music cut off mid-show. To the performer's credit, she powered through and kept it going, which I respected. That said, after how incredible the Beyoncé show was, it was hard for the Gaga set to live up to it. I was also a little disappointed to find out it wasn't a queen performing but a woman. Had I known that ahead of time, I probably would have chosen a different venue that night. The first show was truly amazing and unforgettable, but the second night didn't quite meet that same standard. The Palm has so much potential, and when it's done right, it's magic--I just wish the experience had been more consistent.

Best - Business 'card' - lots of cool swimwear and underwear stuff.

It's…read morelocated between Olas Altas and Los Muertos beach (just past Cafe Bohemio, and before the San Marino Hotel). I found myself somewhat "gently-pushed" into this place by my lady friend and daughter, on a couple of occasions, to try on some of their offerings. I was told at first that daughter wanted to buy a piece of 'exotic' underwear as an office-party gift, and she wanted me to model a few pieces - ouch!! Then later, was asked to try on some of the beachwear. I figured they were up to more than they were telling me, and quite sure (though they tried to hide such from me) three pieces of such apparels were actually purchased, after all the trying on and the evaluations and comments were made!! I suspected that two pieces might be destined for me (as gifts for my soon to come birthday and Christmas). But regardless of the intent, it turned out to be a lot of fun, and the salespeople (both women, at the times we were there) were sure good sports about it all, and actually very helpful to the cause. And yes, I did get two pieces as gifts - one very see-through piece of underwear, and one quite cool & sexy bathing suit (in a bright yellow/orange!!). I still have both, wear them on 'special' occasions, and the latter wearings always trigger some "fond & fun" memories of the times in Vallarta when they were auditioned and purchased. The shop actually sells some pretty hot stuff - not that I have the necessary physique to really show it off!! But if you're looking for a bathing suit to wear during your stay, or just to bring home for other times, it's a great little place, with lots of cool offerings.

Clearly marked vegan options. Staff aware of what is vegan and what can be made. The vibe inside is clean and really good. The service was really great. And the best part food and beverages - there is nothing we could find that was off. The mini churros were freshly made and came to us within a minute after that. The two vegan dips - peanut butter and strawberry jelly went so well together. The family tells me the condensed milk was very good as well. The Canadiano (black) was amongst the best we have had. The brew was so smooth and tasted just perfect. No bitterness or sourness and the temperature was perfect. The vegan Iced Chai Latte with soy milk was unlike any chai latter we have had. The spices were warm and drink cold and a hint cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - OMG. We were so impressed that we came the very next day and had the same thing again.

ATMOSPHERE: Cool and clean intimate cafe with a few seats. MENU: Salads, paninis, churros, cafe-style beverages and some alcohol. DESSERT: Churro Cup Choose a gelato flavor and topping. I opted for vanilla which went well with the generous amount of mini churros piled on top and declined a topping. The churros had good, creamy flavor, but were a bit too firm for my liking either due to their thinness or simply overcooked. SERVICE: Excellent. Very welcoming and friendly with follow up in between. TIP: Closed on Tuesday's; hours are 1p - 9:50p. OVERALL: Nice variety of churro combinations.
