The cucina has wonderful hot ready to eat Mexican food. And it's all made onsite in their kitchen. I'm not Mexican - I just love the food. My wife enjoyed the carnitas tacos today- liked the sweetness of onions and great taste & tenderness of the carnitas. I had the chili relleno plate - my favorite- and the quality is much better than some served at restaurants. The prices are competitive and quality is exceptional. However, this is not a restaurant- just takeaway with a few tables inside a terrific supermarket. Love shopping here. The vegetables are always very good. And there always seems to be enough of everything. The employees are very respectful and easily available for assistance. The atmosphere here always gives out good vibes and comfortablity. Parking is more than enough. Too bad some customers don't place their cart back in the stalls. They always have fresh salsa and guacamole. I use to come for the ceviche bar but I think they just sell pre packaged stuff now they use to serve you personally. They don't have the biggest selection in meats but it's always fresh when I shop there. They do have quit a variety to choose from still. The lines do get crowded quick. I'm absolutely floored at how poor the customer service has gotten. I went over to the cheese counter and asked the lady behind the counter for some cotija cheese. She didn't speak any English so she called over her coworker to assist. She came over and said "what do you want" as if I was inconveniencing her. I told her that I just need a quarter pound of the cotija cheese and she said that they only sell them whole or half a block. I told her that I don't need that much and it will go to waste. Nice big mexican market. I liked how they had a bigger variety of salsas and guacamole compared to Northgate market. They have a whole togo food section where you can buy tamales, carnitas, chicken and other mexican food.
