I stopped by this Vons today because it was on the way to visit my wife grandparents grave and we wanted to get them flowers. So I remember there was this Vons on the way so it was convenient for us. I found parking easily right in the front and walked inside. They have the flowers at the entrance and today they had a lot out on display. My wife choose the one she like the most and I went to pay for it at the self checkout. The employee working the self checkout was polite with us and asked if we needed any help, I told him no because we were just getting the flowers.

Came here to get groceries and other random items while staying in the area for a mini vacation. We also ordered a birthday cake. Over the phone bakery service was chefs kiss. In person was dry and awkward. - I walked up to the counter and we all stared at each other for a very long time (probably 20 whole seconds) until I finally said that I was here for a cake pickup lol! Anywho I'm a Vons shopper in my area so I felt right at home and already aware of quality of food and price range. This location was always bustling and the cashiers and workers keeping the isles cleaned seemed happy enough. The parking lot however is very sketchy, so get in and get out, don't wait around in your car just drive off.

Need a gift for my dad. He's in residence care and he likes a special tissue with aloe. Soft. WE LL deliver today in a couple hours. It was here and easy to find. Nice store. Crazy lady in the parking lot. We just did not confront. Walking around car to car looking for a argument. She let me know she was from Bolivia not Mexico. LOL.

I usually go to Sprouts on my weekly market run but Vons carries way more items that I sometimes need. Vons is like a cross between Sprouts and Target :D The flower department is incredible. You can go all out and choose the fancy arrangements or you can get bouquets of a variety of flowers. I just wanted something simple so I opted for the colorful carnations for less than 5 bucks. wow! sold! There's a fair amount of organic produce which I do prefer. Meat and seafood cover the whole spectrum for all you carnivores and pescatarians. Bakery also includes all your essentials like cakes, breads of all sorts, and cookies, etc. Wine selection is plentiful too. buy 6 or more and get 10% off. Again, sold! and much spirits for the hard-core mixologists. There are also all the rest of the your essential groceries in between! There's a good amount of ice cream too. Don't forget to pick up a quart or two!

I've been waiting to update my review because I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. I'm my last three visit, I've accidentally purchased and have seen several items that were expired by months and weeks. Items that are not even close to their expiration item would also go bad, even though when stored properly. I'm not sure what the heck has been going on. But it seems a lot of their products are not being checked. It's frustrating to spend several dollars on food that I have to end up throwing out because it was expired. This has happened in more than one occasion. I noticed that they had several countless items past their expiration date in their shelves since I because my cautious about checking the expiration date. They have some weekly deals. I like the selection they have for chips and snacks. Their meat quality and price isn't bad. They have a ton of the pre-packaged vegetables that are easily prepped. There's a pharmacy located inside as well in case you need to pick up prescriptions. The workers are direct and mainly there to do their jobs. I wouldn't describe them as the friendliest. I'll usually go to the self check-out line. Seeing as how disappointing it's been to see so many expired items, I don't trust to shop here anymore. Makes me sad to think several others are probably wasting their money on expired food.

It didn't matter which noodles we bought as along as my Mom was good with her purchase. During our visit, I walked around the store. It's your typical Asian supermarket, but it has more Vietnamese brands. The store was quite clean and organized. Aisles were a little snugged though. It has all the essentials that a supermarket normally has... fresh produce, meats, seafood, dry goods, household stuff, alcohol section, etc. Lady at the register was okay. She didn't count the boxes and trusted us. Thank you miss! Check-out was easy and quick. Upon exiting the store, a staff member marked our receipt on our way out. I found it interesting that an Asian supermarket would have this procedure in place. It's all good. I probably won't be back here too often or much at all to shop as I don't live near the Westminister area. This was a special request visit from my Mom. Just for the noodles! LOL

The store isn't huge, and the layout is a bit tight, but the selection is surprisingly broad with tons of Middle Eastern staples. As a Halal market, there's no pork at all, but what did surprise me was seeing camel ground meat, plus things like tripe that's definitely not my everyday grocery finds. There's a giant section of nuts and dried fruit (almonds, pistachios, cashews, pumpkin seeds, all the goodies). Keep walking and you'll hit a full wall of colorful spices from all over the world, enough variety to make me stare for a while. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to tomato pastes and sauces, both imported and local, which is oddly satisfying to compare. Their fresh flatbread is supposed to be popular, but I went in the evening and it was already sold out. They also carry a tiny Asian section with Korean ramen and a few Japanese/Korean sauces and rice. Fun discovery: the drink section has Egyptian Coca-Cola in glass bottles, made with real cane sugar similar to the Mexican version but definitely different from the U.S. corn-syrup Coke. Near the exit there's a small bakery with pretty decent-looking cakes at good prices, plus a little food hall (including Kabab We Kofta serving Egyptian dishes) and a perfume/accessory shop. Overall, it's a very Middle Eastern-leaning market with lots of unique finds. If you like exploring international ingredients or need things you won't find in American grocery stores, this place is worth a stop. And if you're hungry afterward, there are several Middle Eastern restaurants nearby like Sababa Falafel Shop (Palestinian) and Damascus House Cuisine (Syrian). For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up.
