I stopped by this Super King Market since it was on my way to my aunt place. We came a little before lunch since I wanted to get some flowers. The place was busy and the parking lot was packed. My wife found a spot and I went inside. This store has the alcohol in its own little room on the left side of the store where you walk in. The cashier station is on the right, I didn't see any self checkout station. I didn't see any flowers area so I asked one worker at the cashier if they have any. She didn't speak English so another worker came to help and told me where she thought it was. She was confused and thought I asked for flour. I say another worker stocking the produce area so I approach him. He spoke English and he said the store doesn't carry flowers bouquets here. This is a really nice supermarket. The inside is super clean, organized and they carry brands the chain supermarkets don't carry. They have Asian, Mediterranean, plus Mexican and more foods. The meat case is huge! They have some cuts that I haven't seen anywhere else, same with the cheese counter, so many new things for me to try. The person behind the cheese counter was super helpful and very nice. I wish this store was a little closer to my house because the prices were very good. read more

Parking is plenty but often packed and one may have to bring their patience when visiting during high flow of patrons. Same with check out. One thing i noticed is that prices can be tricky. For example, i bought pistachios for $20.99 per pound here, with lesser quality and the texture of the pistachios ( not intact) only to find the quality of pistachios at fresh choice cheaper at $16.99 per pound and better quality and fully intact. This Super King Market got a huge remodel and expansion in 2022, replacing the tiny original 1993 location next door and wow, it's now bright, wide, and so much nicer to shop in. SK is a Middle Eastern-founded supermarket chain started by a Lebanese immigrant family (total American Dream story ). It began with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern goods, but now it's grown into a full-blown international market with everything from spices, pita, and olive oil to Asian, Latino, and American staples. The moment we walked in, there's a massive liquor store on the left which is funny because some customers might be Muslim and don't drink, but hey, it's a diverse neighborhood and business is business. Produce is super affordable and fresh , no fancy display but honestly great quality if you take a second to pick through. The deli counter is huge with tons of cheese and cold cuts (and yes, you can ask to sample). The meat department? Surprisingly clean, no weird smells, everything looks fresh. They even have a small freezer section of Asian basics like dumpling wrappers, puff pastry, and scallion pancake dough. Bread section is big, cheap, and full of options. The funniest part: I saw a huge line in the back and thought there was a crazy sale... Nope. It was an entire tour bus of Asian tourists doing a "supermarket + restroom stop." The bathroom line wrapped outside like it was Disneyland. Overall, this Super King is bright, clean, affordable, and packed with variety. I enjoyed shopping here although there are already plenty of supermarkets around, honestly? Switching it up and wandering a different store once in a while is its own little life joy. I was going there for the past year. Then the security guard checked my bags which was okay bc he said that I was using my own bags. Then I went to talk to the manager George he told me that it's their policy to check peoples bags and when I didn't understand him he told me to SHUT UP. I'm 4'11 and George is over 6Ft. My family often goes to this market because it is close to home, and they always have a variety of fruits and they are cheaper than other markets. The market space was also renovated a few years ago so it looks very modern and clean. There are always cleaning staff to ensure the areas are clean. They deodorize very well in the areas selling seafood and fresh fish and meat. I hardly smell any strong fishy smell that makes me feel uncomfortable. I am here EVERY SINGLE WEEK!! They remodeled a couple of years ago and now it's very very spacious. This grocery store offers a lot of cultural variety. I can find mainly middle eastern ingredients here but you can also find Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Korean, Peruvian, Italian, American, Russian, Greek and much more ingredients here. All the fruits and vegetables are like more than half the cost compared to standard grocery stores and it tastes better. They have a meat and seafood counter, large deli and cheese slicing area. There's dried fruits and nuts by the pound and you can also buy international candies by the pound here. I think I had Russian caramels the last time I bought candy. You will also see all racial groups shopping here. So don't worry about feeling out of place... unless you're like Newport Beach white.. then you might feel out of place lol. Every so often they have filet minion on sale and OMG!! Sooo affordable. They need to open more chains so I don't have to drive 25-30 mins to get here. read more

I was in Anaheim and we were passing by Super King. It was nice to stop by and do some shopping there.The parking lot is spacious, we found a spot easily. I can't recall the last time I shopped there, but I was very impressed. The layout was completely different. The store looks very bright, clean and spacious.The vegetables and fruits were very fresh. It was very organized too. I really enjoyed shopping there. I went in every single aisle to check the products. Although the place was crowded, we checked out very fast because they have multiple cashiers. For sure I will come back whenever I am in the area. read more

I go there for the fruit. They have great fruit prices. It is a lot of Middle East food. Staff is very nice. The new few months is very nice. Cashiers and stockers are wonderful. Prices on not food items is expensive. I got very good oranges for .49 lb. Everyone else is starting at.99 on up. They have a fantastic assortment of fruits and vegetables. I also like going there because you can find interesting Middle East foods. The remodeled it about a year ago. The old store was kinda a dive. This one is beautiful. Your market is connected to many other stores, so they are not private property but are public property. Store itself is pretty big, clean, well stocked and well organized. Reasonably priced so you can find whatever you need in reasonable price range. They are international market so you have great selection of items to choose. I like their liquor selection. They have great variety of products and some high end ones. I needed pistachios but surprisingly i found lot of empty shells in my bag! They were three flavors and they were in same situation. The price was cheaper and there was a reason so I didnt like it. Because I needed pistachios and I spent so long time there to go one by one to not get the bag full of empty shells! The other thing was in register! The cashier grabbed the cucumber bag and boom all cucumbers rolled over everywhere! She didnt re bag it or fix her mistake and she shoveled everything in the big bag! Unprofessional! I overheard a convo between an employee & a customer as to when the old SK became this new one. He told her it was about a month ago. I hadn't gone down Magnolia for awhile & was shocked to see this transformation. While I was resonant at first being that I missed the adventure of the open bizarre type atmosphere of the original I have to admit it was a helluva lot easier to actually shop & check out at this new one. Price-wise there are some major bargains to be had! I was practically giddy with joy when I saw some very low prices on several vegetables such as zucchini & eggplant. I didn't look at their ad but they may have been weekly specials. Another great price was on some packaged Low-Carb Tortillas & gallons of water otherwise prices were just as if not higher than a grocery store like Ralph's. The grocery selection is vast with mainstream products mixed with a terrific variety of international brands allowing for the experience of discovery. I'm a sucker for exotic labels & "unique to me" items. That's why I also like shopping at Jon's Market in Huntigton Beach. There are large specialty areas for Liquor & Pastries & Sweets. There's also a service Deli Dept. Wide aisles & nice employees too. The large parking lot is infamous for its challenges especially on weekends but maybe fixing that is next on the agenda. read more

Had an AMEX deal for them and wanted to check it out. Super King Markets sells a variety of goods including many middle eastern and Armenian items. Prices are decent and there's also a large liquor store. Workers can be a little aggressive and the store is massive - although could use a little touch up. read more

This review on this location is due to the security guard's inability to see and read his company's receipts! His service was piss poor and his rudeness in stereotyping me was unethical! First I asked him to watch my cart and especially my meat items sitting in the cart. You cannot take a cart into their liquor area. After purchasing my liquor items he asked me for my receipt! He watched me at the register! Then he said what about the meat and grab my cart! I informed him first of all I asked you to watch my items! I gave you my receipts! Alcohol section. I bought $600 worth of alcohol and asked for a bag. The cashier said we charge for a bag. Well, should have told me that before I charged it on my credit. Just had the worst experience at this store. Been coming for years even before the remodel. Don't live in the area and still drive weekly to it. I purchased avocados that went bad and I try to get store credit for them and I was ambushed by store manager produce manager and maybe clerk manager saying that I did not buy them there because they don't and never have carried California avocados even though I had the receipt to prove it. store manager at one point did say they had California avocados but as conversation went on he changed it to saying NEVER again. We stopped here for grocery and we found it very cheap. Almost as cheap as in San Diego. The place is huge and on Christmas day it was buzzing with shoppers. Been going to Kings since they were on Ball Rd. I generally like the store, you find a good variety of international foods but for crying out loud PLEASE REMOVE EXPIRED PRODUCTS FROM YOUR SHELVES. I don't always remember to look at the dates and it's a pain in the butt to have to come back to return something that is being sold with a past expiration date. Today, I came here and spent over $100 on groceries. At checkout, the cashier, Olga, chose not to bag my eggs. When I noticed this while loading my cart, I politely asked for a bag for the eggs. She refused, saying it was too late since I had already been cashed out, and insisted I would have to pay for another bag or "figure it out". I tried to explain that I was using CalFresh EBT, which typically covers bag fees, but she responded dismissively, saying "whatever , whatever, I don't give a f***," and continued scanning items for the next customer, completely ignoring me. I asked for a manager, and when they came over, I explained the situation that I just needed a bag and that the cashier had been extremely rude and even disrespectful, saying things like "blah blah blah" in front of the manager. The manager gave me a bag and helped with my eggs. After putting my groceries in my car, I returned to speak with another manager to report this and to ask for the cashier's name. read more

This grocery store is great. I drove from Whittier to check it out and I wanted to stay. I went to only buy tahini and labneh and ended up leaving with a bunch of other things. I got some green plums, mamey, and dragon fruit. The meat market and deli looked so clean and had such a variety of meats. I will definitely be coming back this way. read more

Love the new market. I come here specifically for fruits, vegetables and meat. The meat selection here is so much more fresh than the Asian markets. The vegetables are the lowest prices I've seen. Everything is fresh and kept nice and clean. I don't buy anything else here because the prices are higher but def my go to for what I listed above. Customer service is great!
