Absolutely the worst jewelry store I have ever been too customer service wise. I needed a few jewelry pieces fixed, a stone put back in a ring and a toggle fixed on a bracelet. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. The clasp on my bracelet needed replacing it was missing on one side he claimed that if he tightened the opposite side it would be fine and when he brought the bracelet back out to me it was exactly the same as when I gave it to him when I expressed this to him he was extremely rude and told me I had too much attitude. The ring needed a stine put back in which I had and I was quoted a crazy price to fix a prong. Turned to a major ordeal and an absolute nightmare I do not recommend this place. This is the place to go. They are so knowledgeable and will talk with you to make sure they are on the same page and what they are going to do is what I want. I had my rings cut off so I brought them here to get fixed they resized them and got them polished and the nicks out. They looked brand new and the price was very reasonable. It only took them a couple days and they stayed in contact to keep me updated on the process. I will definitely be back when i need more jewelry repairs or wish to buy something new. The only choice in the state of New York for custom jewelry! My boyfriend (now Fiance!) and I live outside of NYC but were visiting family in the area over a holiday weekend. We both knew that the day was drawing close for my boyfriend to propose, and since I'm exceptionally picky and high maintenance, we had been looking at custom rings in the City. At the suggestion of my Aunt, we went to visit Stephen Valle to discuss some options. It was important to me to have intricate details with an overall look similar to what you see trending now - a large solitaire with a skinny band of smaller diamonds. After an initial sit-down meeting with Stephen, who is the sweetest man and clearly knows his stuff, we left feeling like working with Valle Jewelers would be a comparable option to the diamond district in NYC. I sent him and my boyfriend some pictures of rings with certain elements that I liked. The head of this one, this band, this setting for the solitaire, etc. Then I pretty much stepped out of the picture and let my boyfriend take over. I wasn't sure if my boyfriend was going to end up using Valle, since NYC has endless options for custom jewelry. But I was told later that after looking into several options in the city, no one could beat Valle for their quality and customer service. He said that some jewelers in the city, didn't even want to sit down with him for a consultation. So, in the end, he ended up using Valle Jewelers because of Stephens obvious commitment to quality and customer relationships. And I couldn't be happier! I ended up with a gorgeous custom ring that is the combination of 4 different designer rings, along with some vision from Stephen! It is absolutely stunning and unlike anything I've ever seen. Just before Christmas I broke my white gold chain that I had previously purchased from Valle a few years ago. I took it in, and they not only helped me get the chain sent back to the company but also helped me find better fit of a chain for every day wear that had previously weakened the links. When I went to pick up my necklace, they had also cleaned my cross. I had a terrible experience with Kay's trying to get a ring to celebrate passing my NP boards. I spoke with one of the workers who not only helped me pick out a beautiful ring but celebrated in my excitement of passing. She was AMAZING in helping me pick out a BEAUTIFUL ring. They kept me updated via text of when my ring would come in and when it arrived. It came in within the timeframe that was quoted. MY RING IS BEAUTIFU!!! No additional cost or fees to have it cleaned to boot! I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing business to anyone! So personable and friendly! The customer service is beyond amazing, they are so friendly there and to be able to purchase a ring and have it sized in about an hour ... WOW!!! No extra fee to size the ring either!
