This is a great meet up location if doing things in the area and also a really good stop if you're traveling on the 64 corridor headed to the Grand Canyons. I came in twice today, once in the morning to use their restrooms and also once in the evening after my cave trip, again to use the bathroom. I was tired a bit from working hard all day and got to see a really cool virgin cave that had a 30 feet vertical and it was soo good to see this place on my drive back out to civilization! I got one of those cappuccinos from the machines and while not what I usually drink, it was good to have this for the 3 hour drive ahead. Plenty of snacks to buy here and Grand Canyon and AZ souvenirs. Bathrooms clean and very needed. Staff helpful and nice. I'd definitely come back in again when in the area! read more

No alert that the station was out of gas! We used google and there was no indication that they were under construction. Stay away and gas up early! We had to call AAA to get gas to the nearest station which was very near. Very high prices at market and they charge $1 to use the porta potty. Avoid! read more

If you're RV-ing nearby, or driving up from Williams, this is about the best spot to stock up on snacks, drinks, gas, ice or any other travel needs before entering Grand Canyon National Park. Fun and entertaining, it's worth the stop to see the collection of vintage vehicles at the north entrance, or the huge split geodes for sale, kitschy Route 66 gifts, or Native American products. read more

09/26/2023 This was a good stop since there is a gift travel shop to look through and restrooms. Get out and stretch your legs and take a look at the classic cars around the corner of the building. Don't go across the street to Bedrock City. Rude customer service there from the gift shop workers, maybe part of the Raptor Ranch. You have to walk through that gift shop just to get to Fred's Diner. You could take your chances over there or continue shopping here. Here, you get snacks and drinks for your drive to the National park up north or down to Route 66. You have options in my opinion. This pit stop here is well worth the stars. Almost everyone in my vehicle got out and a few people bought something besides me putting gas in the vehicle. If we wanted to stay longer, I would have suggested that taco truck in the parking lot with a giant beverage from inside the Chevron portion. read more

Stopped by right before getting to the Grand Canyon for a quick pit stop. Bathrooms were clean, employees were working hard, and the Knick knacks were cute. I ended up getting 2 different designs of pressed pennies for my collection. Overall a pretty average tourist oriented travel center, but I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 because I couldn't find pressed penny machines anywhere else and I appreciated being able to add to my collection. read more

Was passing by and unknowingly I was dragging a chain. One of the workers flagged me down and told me about it and then proceeded to threaten me when I had already told him I would take care of it. I would definitely understand the hostility if I had ignored him but that was the first and only interaction I've had here. Definitely will be avoiding this place in the future. read more

Made a quick pit stop as we traveled to Sedona. This is a one stop shop! They have everything you can think of. A ton of gifts, souvenirs, clothing, jewelry and accessories. Probably the worst and rudest service I've ever experienced at a Convenience Store. The clerk seemed annoyed our family pulled in to shop after leaving the Grand Canyon. She literally stared at us and would speak. She charged us for our drinks and snacks and left it all on the counter (4 drinks, a bag of ice and multiple souvenirs). I was carrying the bag of ice and no way for me to carry everything else. I asked her for a bag to place all our items. She bagged them for us and tossed it my way. Horrible service. Well, well, well! We definitely felt that we fit the touristy scene at this travel stop & shop! Following our first day in Williamz, AZ, we wanted to stock up on some awesome snacks, and found Valle Travel Stop & Chevron is beyond the gas station experience. We spent 1 hour max, looking at a combination of a vintage car show, dummies dressed in 1950's era. Betty Boop, Coca Cola, Native American belts and boots were seen here. I saw gifts for every age, gender and special occasion. The route 66 signage was definitely displayed everywhere and I was intrigued to see it, as I only visited Santa Monica and Long Beach (Route 66.) This place is sooo much fun, but definitely a tourist stop for sure. They have a gas station service, with coffee, lottery tickets, local snacks etc., I really enjoyed it. There is the famous Fred's Diner across the street, a couple of other small businesses, but nothing much for miles. read more

Don't be distracted by words like "truck stop" or "gas station". These only scratch the surface of what you'll find at Valle. First of all, it's a great location to stop. Valle is at the crossroads of U.S. Route 180 and SR 64 ... so whether you're heading south to Flagstaff or north to the Grand Canyon, it's the perfect time in a road-trip to get out and stretch. Kathy is the souvenir section was so polite and filled with information in the area. She welcomed us with a smile and gave best wishes when departing. All three stars are for her!!! However... Kristina that checks out on the side with the snacks is so rude. I walked up, checked out and received change and she never said "hello" or "thank you/Goodbye" etc.... Her entire attitude was just off putting. So if it was solely for her this would be a one star. Get it together girl. Bathrooms: Clean. Cute fountain sink. Air dryers, which the green part of me loves. However, I like to use tissues to open the doors. I like this gas station because of their souvenir store inside. I went wild in their jewelry section. So many pretty earrings and necklaces. Too bad I was broke for this trip. I used the bathroom (clean) and then bought a soda and some homemade cookies. Overall, had a good experience. The cashier was a sweetheart. That is kind of hard to find at your traveling gas stations. Gas was a lot cheaper than in the SF bay area. No complaints. read more

The gas seems pricey here until you reach Tusayan, and have to take out a second mortgage on your house. I recommended gassing up in Williams or Flagstaff, but if you are closing in on the park, and running low, stop here. The staff has always been pleasant, and there is a decent beverage and snack selection. If you are planing to hike to the Colorado river and back in one day, (despite the many printed warnings to do otherwise) stop and stock up on Gatorade and salty snacks, like Pringles, beef jerky and pretzels. Get a flashlight too, as you will be hiking out in the dark. They also have a gift shop inside. Fun local facts: The Valle families on either side of HWY 64 (Flintstones Bedrock & Valle Travel stop sides) used to shot pot shots at each other, back in the olden days, as they were both in competition for tourism dollars. They have some cool bronzesque statues which keep the medics entertained. While taking a photo next to a bucking Big Horn Sheep or Black Bear is a cool idea, ridding them is hazardous to one's health. (I think they have signs that eluding to this.) read more

No one enforces masks here. Went inside twice and in total saw 7 different people without masks on. It's almost a light suggestion, not a requirement to have them. The sign says required but clearly not. If you are on your way to the Grand Canyon you are better off waiting until you get to Tusayan or making sure you grab it before you reach this area (Williams or Flagstaff). Really sad that this great store with so mu to offer doesn't think the safety or me or my family and friends is important enough to enforce the mask mandates in place. It's just a small effort to keep people healthy and alive. Unfortunate that is less of a priority than making a customer uncomfortable by asking them to wear one and asking them to leave if we refuse.
