I booked for pick up and drop off to the Oakland Airport for our trip to Hawaii. Departing was great. The driver arrived on time and got us to our destination in good time. However, the return was a different story. I called before we got on our return flight from Honolulu to Oakland to confirm the pickup so that our driver would be on time due to us having a later arrival time (11pm). I was told to call the driver upon landing, which I did. But the driver did not answer. It appeared that the driver called me while we were traveling in the air to confirm I was still coming - which didn't make sense because I had already called earlier that day to confirm I would be arriving in Oakland as previously stated with the flight information I previously provided. When we arrived, we were extremely tired. Since the driver didn't answer when I called, I proceeded to baggage claim to get our baggage. While waiting, I called the driver again and he picked up, but sounded like he was still in bed. I told him that we had arrived and asked if he was near. He proceeds to tell me that I needed to call when I arrived (I DID, but this guy didn't answer his phone). The fact that he answered and sounded like he just rolled out of bed was an indication that he was going to be late. He tells me he's on his way. I was still waiting for my baggage, so I didn't worry much. Had hoped that he would be there by the time my baggage rolled around. 20 minutes later, we got our luggage and I called him once again to see if he was close. He answers and says that he's about 20 minutes away. So, basically 50 minutes after we land, he's still not here. I waited 20 minutes and he finally showed up. When we get into the car, he goes on and on about some family emergency he had. His daughter's father-in-law passed away and he had to drive his wife and daughter to the deceased father-in-law's home, etc., etc. I didn't buy his story for a minute. I was extremely disappointed by this as I had to pay extra for the late pick up from the airport. Not that I didn't care about his daughter's deceased father-in-law, but I thought it was very unprofessional to have such a conversation with clients the whole ride to Vallejo. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The two stars are for Mandy, not the company. We booked this for my sister-in-law's 25th birthday and AN HOUR BEFORE they were scheduled to pick us up, they called to say the limo got back from a 4am drop off at SF airport (this is now 5 hours later and they're barely calling us) and that the a/c, lights and everything in the back had gone out so they would be sending a shuttle bus instead. After fighting, them offering extra time, etc, we finally said just come get us at the time we had scheduled. As Mandy arrives, I told her we would be out in a few and look outside to see a VAN NOT A BUS!! We had no choice at this point but it was HORRIBLE. The back of the seats were abnormally high so we couldn't see or talk to each other properly, the van was filled with old empty water bottles, there was a nasty gooey substance on one of the seats and it was not classy. After looking at reviews, it seems as though this is normal for them. Its no wonder they have a Groupon...their company is no bueno! read more

This year, our office decided to pitch in and book a limo wine tour for our boss for his birthday. Looking on Groupon, we found an amazing deal of $375 for 6 hours in either Napa or Sonoma, but it said to call for availability. When I called the office, they informed me that they would honor me the Groupon pricing of $375, but after fees and driver tip, it will be $545. That should have been my first warning sign. Don't get me wrong, it's not the dollar amount that made me upset, it was the fact that they automatically added a 25% tip to the driver before the actual event! The day before the pick-up, I received a call saying that my card was declined and I needed to call the office with a new credit card number. I checked my online banking and the transaction was posted as pending since it was late on a Friday night. Sent the screenshot to the office and they said it will "fall off", and that I should give another credit card. Okay, fine, I'll just call my bank on Monday. The event is tomorrow and I do not want this highly anticipated trip to be cancelled. On the day of the pick-up, the driver arrived on time and I gave him our itinerary and he gave me documents to sign stating that if we go over the 6 hour limit, I will be charged $110/hr. He opened all the doors and we filed in.... But he did not even close my coworker's door! HELLO, IF I WANTED TO TAKE A MINI VAN I WOULD HAVE WENT TO AVIS OR ENTERPRISE. I've taken limo tours to Napa/Sonoma before, and I truly regret not catching the previous company names. The service was sub-par and he did not talk to us once during the whole trip. As with other tours, when we were about to walk to the parking lot of each winery, I phoned the driver to let him know that we were on the way. For OTHER companies, they would spot us, get out, open the trunk, and help us load the boxes. This one? Nope. We enjoyed the trip since it's a fun activity and we did not want this part of the experience to bring us down. Due to that, we stayed at the last winery for an extra hour, meaning we went over by 2 hours because of the drive home to SF. When dropping us off, I stayed back to sign the overage charge and his first comment was "oh, no cash?" Excuse you???? He plugged in the Square device on to his iPhone and swiped my credit card, charging me $240. This whole time he kept mentioning "oh, oh, you can add tip on here too." while guiding my finger towards the 25% tip option. No homie, I'm intoxicated, not stupid. But I am nice, so I'll give you 20%. While I was walking away, he told me to go on Yelp and review him. So here. I am unhappy with your company. Monday rolls around and I check my bank account. Low and behold, there's pending transactions on both credit cards. I call my bank and they said that on the first card, the company charged me twice, with the second one declining due to bank security measures. There was also another charge on my second card. I contacted the office and told them about what happened and the lady said she will get back to me once she is near a computer, she has not called me back since. The bank told me that if it does not get resolved with them, they can file a claim. Buyers beware: You will get charged a 25% tip for service before you even receive any service-- thus making them not needing to EARN your tip through excellent customer service. You will also be left with a hell of a hassle while trying to get things resolved. read more

Scheduled for pick up and drop off from Vallejo to Oakland Airport in a van because we have two kids in car seats, a double stroller and luggage that needs lots of room. He calls to say he was running late, about twenty minutes, late pickup was not cool especially since I was flying solo with two little ones. I thought it odd I was picked up with a female passenger in the front seat. He was nice and very polite and the ride was fine after that. On our pick up on the way back, our flight landed after midnight. I called to confirm pickup. We had two adults and two kids with luggage, two car seats and the double stroller and he rolls up in a town car with a passenger in the front. We had ordered a van. HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSE TO FIT TWO ADULTS AND TWO KIDS IN CAR SEATS IN THE BACK SEAT PLUS ALL OF OUR LUGGAGE IN THE TRUNK?!?! I was quite upset being that it was passed midnight with two babies and now we had to find other means of transportation home. He then told me I could squeeze in the front with his female passenger while my husband and the girls rode in the back. I was so pissed. After six hours of traveling I wasn't in the mood to be someone's lap dog just 'cuz he decided it was 'bring your wife to work day'. When we told him we won't be riding with him he had the audacity to tell us we wasted his time. Is this guy for real? We told him he wasted our time for thinking they could send a towncar when we ordered a van for the specific reason to fit all our stuff. We told him no thank you and called Uber to come get us. For my birthday myself and a group of my best friends had arranged a limo from another company to pick us up in Santa Rosa and take us wine tasting in the Sonoma area. Our original limo company completely stood us up and never showed up. Safe to say that company has a whole different Yelp review coming! We frantically searched a round for a Plan B and discovered Vallejo Airporter on a Groupon site. It was so easy to get in touch with the company and their communication was excellent. Thankfully for us they had no prior bookings on that day and they rushed to pick us up. The limo was extremely clean and came with 2 bottles of champagne. Our limo was a standard 10 seater and we were not given the Hummer limo which others have reviewed on.The stereo was awesome and was set up with an iPod jack which we loved since we were able to play our own music (sorry Tom for playing Spice Girls on repeat!!!). It was also fully stocked with enough cups for all of us and Tom even had a wine opener on hand for us to use. We were totally in love with our driver, Tom. He was extremely professional and very patient with our group of 10 drunk girls. He kept track of all of us and made sure we were having fun the whole time. His rates were extremely fair and we paid all cash to make things easy. Our only regret from the day was that we didn't call Vallejo Airporter in the first place. So I read the other reviews on Yelp ans saw the 1 stars, but we jumped on a Groupon deal for a Napa wine tour anyways. All of his Google reviews were 5 stars there. Our group decided to book a hummer limo that the owner Tom operates. He arrived promptly and followed up the day before. We gave him the addresses to the wineries that we were going to and his GPS got a little confused but we still made all of our appointments on time. We stopped for lunch and we also got him a sandwich while he waited for us outside the restaurant. We got home about 20 minutes late due to traffic, but he did not charge us extra since we were delayed because of the GPS in the morning. Tom was super friendly and everyone in our group was very happy with the service and his personable attitude. We all plan on booking another trip with him soon! read more

The driver was 15 minutes late (no biggie) but he called all of the wineries for me to let them know we would be running a few minutes behind. - Our driver definitely knew his way around wine country and helped us avoid traffic on our route. - The limo is also stocked with complimentary champagne and water. We had booked a limo through a gross excuse for a limo company and they never showed up, with some luck and flexibility we were able to book Tom for that day, ASAP! He drove from Vallejo to Sonoma promptly and was absolutely fantastic. He gave us an incredible rate and really made our day. The limo was spacious and clean with champagne glasses, red cups and 2 bottles of champagne. We were really excited and Tom was friendly, personable and just a delight to work with. He put in the extra effort by doing things like taking our photos and offering to charge our phones. His rate was very reasonable and I will happy use him again, I apologize for those of you who had poor experiences. This service rocks! I would go nowhere else if I am ever in need of a ride in the San Fransisco-Fairfield area. Hands down solid company. The owner picked up my family and I in his personal and very nice Ford Expedition at nearly one in the morning. Why did he do this? Because he told me next time we needed a ride he would be there for us and we had a ton, I mean a ton of baggage! We had to go from SFO to Travis AFB because we were going space A. No shuttles are available at the time and with the 2 kids, wife and luggage, a regular taxi will not work. Prices were cheaper than anyone else and Tom is a stand up gentleman. Horrible company to do business with. Currently not BBB accredited. Wish someone would have told me this before I bought a limo in advance. Not only have they cancelled on me once before but the second time was only 24 hours before my reserved date! Company is totally unprepared with back-up drivers and cannot accommodate more that 10 person limos. When i asked how they would compensate for the inconvenience they offered absolutely nothing in return and refused to find another driver or company for their mistake. Worst case scenario they could have hired someone for the day to cover shifts or had the manager drive. Why would you own a limo company if you don't have a license to drive a limo? read more

I bought a Groupon six hour tour back in May 2013. I had several e-mail correspondence with a person name Sonny. At no time during these exchanges did this person mention an addition $100 fee on top of the Groupon price. I also read the fine print and there was no mention of an additional fee. I'm well aware of gratuity, which I intended to pay in cash. This fee they slipped in at the last minute is for fuel, tax, service fee, and gratuity. I would like to know what a service fee is and I believe gratuity is at the discretion of the patron in a typical limo experience. Needless to say, I was upset by this last minute fee and booked with another company called Executive Charters, through Groupon which was cheaper and they said upfront that all fees and taxes are included in the Groupon price and there was no "hidden fees" as well as gratuity will be at the discretion of myself and the group in the limo. In the end......if you have a Groupon be sure to ask for hidden costs before buying. read more

Go with another car service company. We hired Vallejo Airporter to take 8 of us in a Van to Napa. We negotiated a price and paid in cash. Tom, the driver, was late and I had to call him to see when he would arrive. Once en route, he stopped to get gas. He didn't adjust the time for this. He insisted on charging us $100 for going over the 6 hours. My brother negotiated and gave him $50. They charged my credit card the other $50. When I tried to talk to Tom he wasn't reasonable and made up excuses. My mistake was trying this new service since many of the companies were booked on Saturday. Next time I will plan ahead and gladly pay a little more to go with a reputable company. read more

So I thought this was going to be great but I should have know when I had to keep calling to make sure my trip was actually booked. To begin I live in Philadelphia and had hoped to have a great experience in Napa with a limo ride. So I found this place on Groupon. I called and spoke with the owner who encouraged me to work directly with him for a flat fee of $495 because the Groupon didn't work Fridays or Saturdays. Although this was not listed on the Groupon I went on and agreed figuring the Groupon was $375, so with a $160 taxes and fees it would come out roughly the same. Well I had to call multiple times to make sure our trip was booked because we hadn't received confirmation. The owner seemed very nice so again I went with this even though I did have another company on standby. So the trip was finally confirmed two days before my arrival. So let's fast forward to the day of the trip. I received a text message from the driver asking for my location for pick up. Once Mandy arrived she was great. Not dressed classy enough for my taste but she was at least nice. I noticed immediately that the limo had missing paint on the side. This is not acceptable when you are trying to drive in a Limo!! I could have drove the rental because it looked much better. Anyways, Mandy stated that when you take it through the car wash the paint chips. That made no sense (later the owner said the same thing). As we drove through Napa I saw some of the most beautiful Limos which made me more disappointed because it's my birthday trip.. the Limo was stocked with champagne and water but NO EATING. Which is crazy because you would like to have a snack or two. Once we arrived at one of our stops we realized one of the doors won't open to let one of the guest out. So she had to keep climbing in and out in an uncomfortable manner the entire trip. Again no fault of Mandy, she stated that the door sticks sometimes. My thoughts were so why do we have this Limo if it is broke!! After another tasting we get in and the air conditioning had stopped working!! Yes really.. it was 80 degrees and no air!! I was pissed for real now. Mandy attempted to get the air working but it wasn't. We didn't have time waste in order to get to the tour and tasting. Somehow during this ride I keep messing with it and got it to work. I called the company immediately upon exiting this trap! The owner begins by making numerous excuses: well the paint chips when you get it washed, we are planning on putting it in the shop once it comes back in, well it's not that bad because it would be more important if the mechanical stuff wouldn't work (until I complained about the AC), well I will call the drive and talk to her. Through each excuse I explained how none of this was my fault nor should I have had to deal with this broken Limo and if he knew all of this why did they give this limo to us? He had no answers. So they knew the Limo paint was chipped, the door was broke and the ac temperamental. This really pissed me off. So the owner offered me a 10% off. To me that wasn't good enough. Then he offered an additional 1/2 hour. That too was not good enough but I went ahead because I was at my next touring place and didn't want to waste time on the phone. All I know is that I won't rent from here again. No confirmation forthcoming; followed up two additional times, each time being assured that it will be sent "today, no problem". Never showed. So, I cancelled via e-mail. Nonetheless, I was charged. There was never any attempted pick-up, so there could not have been any confusion about the cancellation. I'm going through the hassle of challenging the charge via the credit card company.
