A very kind company! My son was turning 4 this past weekend and didn't want a party, just a ride in a "super stretch long car". My hunt for a limo service felt defeated as hardly any local companies still offered traditional limos and def wouldn't budge on 4-5hr+ minimums. Although they do have a minimum hour rental they made an exception to make our son's birthday wish come true. We hired A-1 Limo for our kids prom and the owner Sunny was so great!! I couldn't ask for a better service. Sunny texted me the day of and sent a photo of the limo. We rented the limo from 6:00 pm-12:00 am. He showed up around 5:30 pm and waited patiently while the kids finished taking photos. He had cider, sodas and water for the kids along with glasses and cups for them. They could play their own music. Once they arrived at The Asian Art Museum in SF and he dropped them off, he texted me and sent a photo of them heading up the stairs and let me know they had arrived safely. He asked me to share his work phone number with the kids so that they could call him once the dance ended and they could find him just in case. He reassured me that they did not have to rush as well. He had them back home by 11:40 pm safe and sound. The kids said he was great. I have Life360 on my son's phone and I was checking just to see where they were going to and from Prom and he was driving safe and the kids said he drove safe. I called to reserve a limo for my wedding on Saturday. Sunny, our driver was very professional. The night before the wedding, he sent me a text to re-confirm the reservation and the time. He arrived at my parents house 15 min earlier than expected time and waited until I was done getting ready. Since my dad is in a wheelchair, Sunny helped load him inside the limo and load the wheelchair too. The drive was very pleasant. He offered was soda and water. He made it to the venue in 50 min. He helped my dad back on the wheelchair. Usually on weekends, there is a 3 hour max for the limo rental, but Sunny was very kind to offer his services when i only needed 2 hours max. I had such an awesome experience with Sunny! Not only is his price super reasonable for the area, but he's also very professional and accountable. He was always very quick to respond and on the day of, he arrived over half an hour before our scheduled departure time and waited patiently since my wedding part was not ready yet. The limo was very clean and stocked with water and beverages which we appreciated! Also, I requested a town car for my getaway car that night, but Sunny went above and beyond and upgraded it to a limo since one happened to be available. One thing though - which is why I'm giving him 4 stars instead of 5. My husband had a different driver that Sunny sent and I heard that he rushed my husband and his wedding party. They were scheduled to leave at 12PM but he got there at 11:30AM and started rushing the group as soon as he got there and said that he "was on a tight schedule." It was not even 12PM yet and the guys wanted to take a photo outside of the limo but he rushed them and didn't let them wait for the last groomsmen, who was still inside the house, to take a complete group photo. This was the one damper on our experience as a group, especially since a limo experience on a wedding day should always be a pleasant one but it started off sour, and now the final groomsmen will never be in that limo photo. Ride #1 (to SFO) was very nice. The town car, although old, was clean and comfortable. Sunny arrived early; he was courteous, friendly and an excellent driver. We immediately decided to use his services when we returned. Ride #2 (from SFO) yuck. That day Sunny texted a pic of the town car, confirming the airport pickup. Instead, another driver showed up in a dirty, beat up Prius that barely had room for our luggage. After being endlessly cramped in rental cars and airplanes, the last thing we are looking for at midnight is another hour bounced around in the back of a Prius with bad shocks. Particularly since we PAID for the nice comfy TOWN CAR. I don't notice an old Prius listed as an option anywhere in Sunny's website. Additional issue - There was little to no interior light when we got out and we realized almost immediately that my cell phone and my husband's hat had been left in the back seat. I texted Sunny who said he would call the driver. By 9:45 the next morning I still had not heard anything... I tracked my phone & realized the Prius was only 10 miles from my home. After stiffing us on the car, it would have been a nice gesture to bring the phone by. Instead, the driver, Shaq (sp?), would not even meet us halfway. He didn't even greet us at his house. His wife came to their door with the phone, and my husband had to go get his hat out of the Prius himself. Sheesh. Tacky, very tacky. For $280 we can do better, and so should A-1 Limo. read more

Sonny was very friendly, professional and was flexible with our itinerary, even after we decided to change things up several times. He did not impose a minimum or maximum number of hours for the limo, which allowed us to be on a relaxed schedule. Many limo companies in the valley impose a minimum number of hours and add on fees. Additionally when we decided at the end of our tour that we wanted to be dropped off downtown instead of at home, he took our ice chest and our belongings that we did not want to carry, and dropped them off at home for us.
