Met up with close friends to celebrate a birthday at this establishment on a Saturday around 4:30PM. Coincidentally, it was during the World Cup quarterfinals overlapping with the UFC fight. The place was very spacious and clean. Being my first time here, I had nothing but good vibes hanging out over here. Workers were very friendly, food was great, and their beverage selection was on point! I love the fact the bartender pointed out to me that what I "asked for" was an upcoming stout (not yet available) but they had comparable ones to offer which did not disappoint! Vallejo Brewing Company felt like an epic example of missing the point. After a glorious day of beers up in Santa Rosa, my friend & I added 1 last impromptu beer stop since we would be driving past Vallejo. We're beer nerds who homebrewed for years & are always interested in checking out breweries we haven't been before. Pulling up on a quiet Sunday evening, plenty of immediate street parking was available. Walking in, it's a great looking space. All the brick & wood makes a warm, welcoming vibe. Signage & art looks like it was done professionally by a graphic designer. & service was courteous & helpful. That's all well & good & all. But the beer... 1st off, we were informed there's no taster pours/ flights or any smaller pours, at all. Full pints. Period. Alright, fine. We sampled a good number of splashes to try to decide what to get. From my perspective of a beer nerd who homebrewed for years, & has done sensory, all the beers tried were off. My friend agreed. We eventually settled on a pils as being the least objectionable. So, while this place looks great, the beers were not. The raison d'être of a brewery is to make proper beers. To not fulfill that, 1st & foremost, is missing the point. read more

Dropped in on a random Saturday and crashed a wake. Place was packed but service was fast. Bartenders were friendly and informative about their products. Split 4 beers between 2 people and the products were tasty. Only wish they sold individual cans for custom 4 packs to go. Would have liked to have tried even more beers. Walked in on a Wednesday night around 5pm. First timer, I usually go for porters or stouts and they had two stouts available, Milky Milk (5.2%) & Coconilla (almost 12%). Bartender let me sample both and I loved the taste and smell of Coconilla. BF decided on a pint of Oktoberfest. We also ordered the pulled chicken bowl and a side of rice & beans. Food arrived in less than 10 min from next door! We also picked up a shirt (a Christmas gift) and the license plate sticker..proud to represent Vallejo! What a fun, new(ish) find in Vallejo! Vallejo Brewing Co. is such a cute and awesome spot for locals and visitors alike- they serve up different kinds of beers (stouts, hazy ales, IPAs, sours), as well as hard seltzers, sodas, and even their own hard seltzer cocktails. As of December 2025, the beers went for $8 and the cocktails for $12. There is food from Gracie's BBQ next door- VBC serves up smaller, more bar-friendly bites, but you're able to order from Gracie's full menu. They do not allow other outside food to be brought in. They also have a variety of board games (even the hook ring game) to be borrowed while you're enjoying your beers, and they have 4 pack beers to go! I really enjoyed the sour beer I had and appreciated the next on tap beers they had on their wall- it gives me something to look forward to on my next visit. They also have trivia nights on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday evening and was really excited to try a new brewery in my hometown! The space is super open and spacious with plenty of beers on tap. Loved that they also have board games to play and even arcade games to keep things fun. Service was quick and our server was very sweet. Great place! Not a huge space, but definitely big enough for a group. Lots of beers on tap, as well as seltzers and seltzer cocktails. I had the spicy margarita seltzer cocktail and it was fabulous. A couple pinball machines and a retro video game console, as well as board games, makes this place family-friendly, too. And you can order food from Gracie's next door and they'll bring it over to you. I honestly can't think of one bad thing to say but I could go on and on about the positives. The hotlink sliders had just the right amount of kick and were packed with flavor. The bartender was awesome and even offered us samples before we chose our drinks, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel thoughtful and relaxed. Before you head out, make sure to check out the counter behind the bar and grab a Cowboy Cookie. Trust me, it's the perfect way to end the night. Vallejo truly needs places like this. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, and a personal for me is comfy seating options. They have small and larger tables, the bar area, and lounge chairs of different kinds around so something for everyone. I like that some seating is away from the main sitting area and I get claustrophobic. They have a good selection of beers and drinks like house-made seltzers and micheladas (the michelada is not a typical Mexican michelada so keep expectations low on this one but it did the trick.) Good parking. All in all a very nice and needed addition to Vallejo's downtown. read more

This particular day I added cheese to my hot link sandwich and the gave me cold shredded cheese separately. Friendly vibes abound with lots of different seating options, pinball machines, and beer/seltzer options. Good for groups for sure. Lots of different games to enjoy (pinball and board games) and a good amount of tables, good place for big groups. Really enjoyed the berry sour and the rice lager. I was able to get sample of multiple drinks before committing. There is no built in food options but you can order at Gracie's and have it delivered next door. A great option for Vallejo. read more
