We taxi'd our way across the bay to the marina side of Zihuatanejo, and found Valeria II ... A beach front restaurant complete with musíca romantíca and elements of la vida Marina.
Service is excellent in that there is no sense of urgency to finish up. We enjoyed a bucket or two, and watched life just happen. There were these two young boys that were flying their hand made kites battling it out, other children netting small fish from the water... They would bring the fish ashore, toss them in air and bring Pelicans and seagulls by the flocks for a great show!
The food was definitely different. The Mr. Enjoyed a pineapple filled with grilled octopus, white fish and shrimp with onion and peppers. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp dish. Both delicious, however I prefer my bacon a bit more crispy and his dish was definitely more creative.
We both agreed the hours spent at Valeria II was well worth the price and a return visit.
