I've been coming to Valley Audiology as long as I can remember. I started wearing hearing aids when I was in kindergarten. I'm turning 22 in a few weeks. My family has stayed with them all these years because the audiologists are extremely knowledgeable, but that's expected of all doctors. The real hook has been their customer service. As a kid, I just liked them because everyone who worked here was really nice (candy!) In retrospect, I see how their friendliness not only made a shy and insecure kid feel at ease about the battery of testing used to determine levels of hearing loss, but by doing so, made me feel more accepting of the circumstances of my life. They really care about helping the people who come to them. As a child who grew up coming to am office where a majority of clientele are in their greying years, I think they do an excellent job at remembering that their mission is to improve the lives of their clients. They are wonderful at Valley Audiology. I already had a hearing test done at Kaiser, so I only needed the hearing aids, so they went over the various types and styles and discussed which one was best for my type of hearing loss. I ordered it as recommended and it works great. We have been very happy with the service from everyone in the office. They are punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable, and have resolved every issue we have had with my daughters hearing aids. My daughter loves gymnastics and her hearing aids kept flipping forward after she would do a flip. Not anymore thanks to Mrs. Lockary She put a shorter hook on it and it works perfectly now. It's the small stuff that make them amazing. My daughter started going to Valley Audiology when she was 5 years old and Dr. Kjeldsen has been excellent with my daughter. I took my mom in to Valley Audiology because she was having some hearing issues. We were kindly greeted by the Valley Audiology staff on arrival and testing began right on time. Leigh performed the tests and results were that my mom needed hearing aids but my she didn't want to get them. Leigh made some great alternative recommendations like getting an amplified phone through a free state program and gave us handouts on communication when there is hearing loss. Leigh was very kind and patient and never pushy, I felt she was genuinely concerned about what was best for my mom and this really resonated with me. I hope my mom will return to see Leigh soon and order the hearing aids because I think she needs them. One thing though, she's a lot more comfortable with the idea of using the hearing aids, Leigh did a great job at educating her on the condition as well as putting her at ease. I initially met with Leigh in Dr. Lloyd Ford's office and she administered hearing tests for one year. It was a no-brainer that I would go to her for hearing aids as we had established a rapport, I had checked her credentials and she was as good as it can get. From personal experience in her office, she is beyond "good"........she is exceptional! After assessment, she fitted me with aids that have NEVER had to be tweaked.
