I use quotations because this company operates as "Mobile Auto Glass Y Mas" based out of Freedom, CA not as "Andy and Me Auto Glass" from Seaside. With this change in branding is a whole other Yelp page full of reviews. I thought it was strange to be advertising online as one company that may or may not exist while operating as another. I was given a window of 1-3 pm and the technician called me at 2:11 pm to let me know he'd be arriving in about 15 minutes and confirmed the address. The windshield replacement took about 20 minutes and looks great. My 4-star review is based mostly on the inconsistency in company branding and communication in regard to payment. I received a verbal quote over the phone when I scheduled the appointment but never received an e-mail or any type of confirmation with an invoice of expected costs for parts and labor. After the windshield had been replaced, I called the number on the Mobile Auto Glass Y Mas van to make a payment at which point I was sent a link via text message to pay on my phone. The amount I was originally verbally quoted was not inclusive of tax and the final total was higher than I had thought it would be. Additionally, the total included a credit card processing fee (it was removed from my transaction due to the miscommunication in price). I would have appreciated a confirmation e-mail and an itemized invoice with expected parts and labor totals prior to the service being performed. All in all, this was the shop that had my windshield in stock, answered the phone promptly, and got me a mobile appointment within 24 hrs of scheduling. The technicians were great, and my windshield is brand new. They are a great option for local residents who need a repair/replacement accomplished right away.
