I reserved a cab to meet the 12:48 train in Waterbury and they called twice to confirm. Got there, no cab. Called and was assured it was 5 minutes away. I saw the train back left at 1:03 and there was not another for 3 hours. Note that 1:03 is 15 minutes after the time cab was supposed to be there. Still no cab, so I got on the train and rode back rather than be stranded. Never made it to my engagement in Litchfield. read more

I'm not a person who generally reviews small businesses, unless it's positively. Especially since I've worked in rideshare and I understand things happen. But as a veteran I have to book specialized medical appointments at the VA Hospital months in advance. They will not allow the patient to drive home after anything remotely invasive so I had no choice but to allow them to set up transportation for me. The vehicle showed up 30 minutes late, and looking like it could barely make the hour-long trip! Now my doctor's appointment needs to be rescheduled for who knows when and I don't get to function like normal human being until that happens. This is unacceptable! I just don't get it. I was stranded in Southington at 2:30pm after moving my classic car to the storage facility. I called Valley Cab and the guy said we have no cabs available. Seldom using taxis, I asked him why. He said "I'll call you back in 5 minutes". He did, and again he said he had no cabs available. [at any time]. The crazy part is yesterday I called them for a ride to the same facility and they had a cab at my house in 5 minutes. The driver was very nice although he claimed to always be lost. I ended up tipping him 25% just because I got where I needed to without a hassle. I was under the impression that cabs were always available, especially when they advertise 24 hour service! The whole day was ruined and nothing got accomplished. Makes no sense to me. No other cab options panned out. I know nothing about Uber but I better change that immediately. read more

Nice place. My driver was a bit smokey, but I had to take a cab from Bristol to Hartford at 5am and wasn't sure I was going to be able to get a place to bring me--fortunately, I called up a few places and Valley Cab was the one to help me out. The price I was quoted was a little up there ($76), but the driver actually charged me a flat fee of $45, so that was pretty nice. The person booking my reservation was super nice, courteous, and direct. I'd definitely take them again. read more

Used to be really good with great drivers and nice cars. On my ride to the airport two days ago the drive was ok, but it was snowing and the driver did not even care enough to make sure his car was in good working order! The windshield wipers were falling apart...the rubber was flapping around as the wipers went back and forth. If the driver does not care to make sure the obvious is working in a professional manner, what type of other maintenance is he not doing to the car! Yikes. May have to rethink Valley Cab. I have been using them for years but the quality of cars has decreased to a questionable level. read more

These guys used to be reliable and friendly. I've used them for 3 plus years with a frequency of 2 times per month. Now, they have been either no sows or late the last 3 of 4 calls. Not only is service totally unreliable but my last driver didn't even get out of the car to load my luggage and was incredibly rude and confrontational. Valley Cab is a service provider for VEYO which is the state of ct. Husky program provider of Non Emergency Medical Transportation. (NEMT). Valley cab was my provider yesterday for my 87 yr old mom who has dementia, diabetes, recent stroke, paralysis of right side lower body, blood clot, and heart condition. We scheduled over a week ago for a 2:25 pickup to her Follow-up visit and blood work of her Dr. at 2:44 u called VEYO they connected me to dispatch at Valley girl said you have a 4min ETA. I got my mothers wheelchair down the stairs and we were waiting in the 90degree sun for another 15 minutes. I called back now they tell me 15minute ETA. I went off. I said who is the crackhead that told me 4 min and have me and my mother waiting in the hot sun. My mother has started to vomit now and I am panicking what to do call the ambulance police what. I call them back now its 3:24 still that's 9 minutes past the last ETA of 15 min. I call them back at 3:28 now its a 6 minute ETA. I ask to speak to a supervisor non on floor. I ask for the Mr. Name a Mr. King. Driver shows up at 3:45pm. I ask him why so late. answer we have 2 Wheelchair vehicles down. So why they are over booking taking the states money and you don't have the equipment to do the service. Got people waiting. My mother ended up in the hospital at UCONN by the time we got to the DR. Office she was pale exasperated obviously had a TIA while waiting and Dr. called for ambulance immediately. If you want to stay alive don't use this service. Use Ambassador great delivery service for wheelchair patients. read more

WORST cab experience of my life. Valley Cab gave me a ride to my destination in a cab that smelled like cat feces. Little did I know I wasn't being dropped off at my destination, I was being stranded. Called a few hours later to get a ride back. I was told 30 minutes which soon became an hour. After I called to see what the delay was I was told they were not coming at all. Called again from a different phone, told one hour, they never showed up. Sure was a lovely walk in the freezing cold, thanks Valley Cab. read more

very bad, very unsafe , beware of the drivers and the people on the phone. my driver ran a red light and got pulled over from the cops. when i called to tell them what happened, they argued with me and hung up on me. I called back, and the girl hung up on me again. Should be shut down honestly. read more

Awful!! They charged my corporate credit card twice by error, and when I called for receipts for the charges MULTIPLE times, I was hung up on, put on hold forever, never called back, or the "accountant was never in". Something very rotten in Denmark with this company. I will never use them again for any of my company's business. I suggest if you do use them, never give a credit card for their file. read more
