    great read

Been to this library a few times and have had nothing but good experiences here. The library is clean. Tons of comfy seating. Lots of available PCs. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Tons of free books! A/C is always on full blast! Printing is easy and reasonably priced. Remember to check in if you need to print something. You get two pages free! Reading is fun!

Great place to spend a few hours reading here. Plenty of varieties and selections with very comfy sittings! Unfortunately for couple hours there was this guy conducting his "business" talking out loud over his electronic gadget in spite of the common knowledge that one should keep his voice down. Surprisingly, neither the library staff nor the patron protested-what a civilized bunch!

Love the fire place and comfy chairs

I spoke with a librarian today, and they shared that the mall location has brought so many families into the library. The mall is a unique place because it puts reading front and center. It places a library directly in front of children and families who might not otherwise visit one. Before making a final decision, I encourage the city to look at the numbers after six months to a year. If more people used the mall library then that seems like a strong reason to keep it open.

Having 4 separate storefronts: adult library, kids' library, events, and bookstore is a genius idea. When I'm with my kids I don't have to worry about volume nearly as much and they absolutely love the little play area they have set up in the kids' library. The librarians are so friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of books in wonderful condition. My son especially enjoys their expansive collection of level 3 readers and their language learning DVDs. He also enjoys the reading programs like the In N Out cover to cover program. The location feels safe and comfortable and our new favorite spot to hang out.

They remodeled the reference desk and moved it to a different spot. It looks so modern now! I think the rest of the project was behind the scenes because everything else looks the same. It was a very busy place, on a hot day, with many, many patrons studying, reading, hanging out. It is one branch of the vast 35-branch Riverside County Public Library system. Ample parking, the parking slips butt up against a thoughtfully designed walkway with signage telling you about the history of Temecula. Once inside the library, there is a beautiful mosaic-mural depicting sea-to-outer space, perhaps a nod to what all is in store for the curious patron. The Children's Area is decorated with dozens of stuffed animals atop the book cases. There are painting on the walls. Lots of visual stimulation. But, if you need some calm, further in the library, there is a whole window wall with comfortable seating overlooking a vast valley. Almost every shelf had an intriguing book on display front facing. Books that my library in San Diego does not own...yet. If it weren't so far from my home, I would get a library card (yes, with a CA id, this is possible, and free), and check out some of those great books.

The Library makes it very easy to get a library card. You just have to answer some questions, and fill out a few lines on a form and then you have your card. The library has books, movies, magazines, to borrow and there are computers to use and other ways to enjoy media. There is also a puzzle exchange, bring in your old puzzles and take some that are there. There were some conference rooms, looks like they are for meetings or trainings. There was some sort of training room upstairs, looks like they teach people on various topics. The computers to look up books make it very easy to see if they are in stock, if they are reserved, etc. Take down the info where they are located and do a little scavenger hunt to find your item. If you get what you need, you head down to self checkout, scan your library card, put in a pin #, insert the book and the scanner does the rest. You get the book for 3 weeks and can renew that 2 more times if no one has reserved it. There is also a cafe there and I believe a place to watch movies or performances that they have there from time to time. And you can drop off your ballot there too. Pictures attached.
