The fastest route to get here from Los Angeles is to take the 15 fwy south and when you exit the freeway, you need to drive through a windy road. I am too scared to make that kind of drive so thankfully I wasn't driving! There's a lot of nice houses to see as you go along the windy road. As we were going there, we said out loud that we hoped it would be worth the 30 minute detour from the coastline. The goal of our trip was to visit San Diego along the 5 fwy and see the beautiful oceans, but we opted to take the 15 fwy so we could stop at this nursery and then cross over west to get to the coast and then go south. There weren't many pictures on yelp prior to our visit, so we weren't sure how large the property was or how many varieties were there. We knew we were there when we arrived because they have large signage - one when you turn into the complex (between two other company signs, 1 above it, 1 below it), and a large signage at the gate where there's parking next to it. Parking was easy and plenty. And there's a chalkboard sign when you walk in that says, "Open. Avoid entering if sick. Wear a mask. Stand 6ft apart. We offer curbside pick up & delivery. Call (760) 749-0577 for curbside pickup." Their gate is wide open and you can just walk in. A lady came out quickly to greet us and to say feel free to ask any questions. She mentioned something about it being hot and that she could move the hose. We said there was no need, so she continued watering the plants. We could see the borders of the property from when we entered, so we knew it wasn't very large. I was used to the size of Los Angeles nurseries I've been to, so I was hoping to spend a good amount of time there. But we looked through it pretty quickly since it wasn't as big as we thought. The property has some open/un-used areas, but the areas that had things to sell were organized by categories, such as color (for the colored flowers), succulents, air plants, vegetables, annuals, perennials, etc. They had a beautiful fountain garden near the front - with 3 layers of succulents. The prices seemed reasonable, but I wish there were a lot more to choose from. The succulent section was pretty small, so I was disappointed. Not much of it is shaded so the heat really gets to you. While we were there, we were the only customers on site - but I didn't notice if anyone did any contactless pickups. And when you leave, they have a chalkboard sign (the back of the sign when you walk in) that says, "Thank you & have a beautiful day" read more

Janet was so awesome! We came in looking for a flower bouquet for someone's birthday and walked out with a beautiful custom made flower bowl. Janet let my 3 year old pick out the flowers and help plant them. She had so much fun and loved the whole experience. We left with the most beautiful gift that was way better then a bouquet.
