This place is MARVELOUS. I decided to stop by on a whim and am so happy I did, as this is now one of my all-time favorite plant shops. The garden itself feels more like a forest, with one winding pathway after another leading to a truly wonderful variety of plants. Shari, the owner, is one of those warm people who make you feel instantly at home. I had multiple questions about prices and availability, and she was very kind and helpful. The prices are lower than most plant shops I've visited. I ended up staying for more than hour wandering around happy as a clam with my plastic wagon. Come here, and you will NOT regret it. Bonus: there are rare parrots, baby goats & friendly cats.

    Beautiful and ohh so peaceful

A gem to find in my neighborhood!!! The peacock is what got me to finally pull over!!! I always drive by and see this beautiful peacock and finally stopped one day and was delighted with the entire 1 hour plus visit!! I strolled down numerous paths and watched the beautiful peacock family! I was also greeted by Steve (hopefully I have his name correct) and he was more than informative with all my plant questions since I lack a single green thumb. My son is hard to please at this age and he loved all the areas to explore, the unique seating areas (he had to sit in each chair) he also enjoyed the birds and the "per donation" tea, he was so pleased he asked to come back before we had left!! We ended our visit in the "Shack" with a few cups of tea and a review of the numerous books of display. This is a beautiful and peaceful place!! I was told they have a garden designer available when I get around to planing my boring garden which is currently filled with weeds.

Lots of plants and decor for sale

Very nice place to visit! Winding paths through the trees and flowers, with plenty of butterflies, hummingbirds, and lizards to see. Some nice shady places to picnic. There are goats, parrots, cats, chickens, and a rabbit for the kids to see. There is also a cute house with seating, restrooms, and free coffee and cookies. Haven't bought any of their plants yet, but the prices are fair. The gardens themselves do seem a bit shabby and not well trimmed or tended. There were lots of plants to push out of the way to get my wagon through the narrow paths. It is quite large and we are in the midst of a horrific drought, so I'm not expecting lush, expansive growth. But the larger plants should definitely be better managed. The signage and decor definitely need to be updated and improved, but I ran into a new staff member who said she is in the midst of this project now. She is also updated the marketing materials, newsletter, and doing her best to get the word out about this wonderful place. Overall, a great place to take my kids for a few hours in the morning. I'll be back to check out the plant selection once we start landscaping our front yard. Looking forward to seeing how the staff improves and updates the gardens' image and exposure!

Review for Gardens + Yoga: This place is A-mazing, I almost don't like to share it with people because it is so beautiful and serene. I recently started attending the Yoga on the grounds and it is life-changing. Chelsea is a great instructor and the beautiful garden adds to the calm, tranquil environment. During yoga, birds and butterflies fly overhead while the trees rustle in the wind. LOVE IT -- Highly recommend!

My good friends got married there this past weekend, and it was absolutely beautiful! Everything about the venue and the set up fit them perfectly. Such an amazing day!

Absolutely beautiful garden with so much personality. This charming hidden gem has unique and afordable plants and garden decorations! Once you enter the garden you will be surrounded by nature and organic plants to purchase for a perfect garden of your own to start at home. The parrots will say hello and welcome you in! The dogs are so friendly and the cat is so sweet! We were fortunate enough to meet the new 2 day old baby goat on one of our visits! The husband abd wife owners are extremely kind and welcoming! My family and I love this place!

Bright and intriguing colors make for an interesting experience.

There's a fruit tasting table and I remember the first time I came in and tasted some fruit I'd never even heard of before. If you're a foodie or if you enjoy rare or tropical fruit or even if you're a fan of botanical gardens, this place is amazing It's a mom and pop place (actually just a pop place cause I think the owner Steve who started it still runs it by himself). The sign said they have been here since the 80s. Anyway because it's a small nursery and open 7 days a week, it's a good idea to call if you're planning to make a long journey to visit just to make sure they haven't stepped out. It's usually fine but I see people on other reviews have come in from far away without calling and it's just a good idea to call if it's a mom and pop nursery and you have a long drive. My favorite fruit was white sapote, cherimoya, the bazillions of types of guavas they have, ice cream bean was delicious, and I never knew palms have delicious fruit (what????). I come about twice a year from San Diego and as San Diego nurseries go, this place is in a league of its own. I even just like walking around in there to relax cause it's almost like a fruit botanical garden. And some of the small stuff is very affordable Highly recommend if you have a few hours free to explore this place. It's a great nursery -- kinda like the Garden of Eden!

Unfortunately, we lived in Encinitas so the climate didn't allow the avocado to thrive but she loved getting Asian/Hawaiian plants, and fruits from this nursery. The scene that will greet you is a dirt path and two-sided parking spaces. The staff are very knowledgeable and the value is great. If your plant doesn't grow, call them, and they guide you or replace the plant. I love this place. If I had a house, I would be here for my roses and fruit plants.
