This paper has taken over the only way for Businesses to advertise fairly reasonably. They do not care what is going on. They answer the phone oblivious to any needs out there. If a man answers you can just hang up, as he is more than worthless. The owner does not seem to even care about issues, as I have tried so many times to contact him that it is not funny. They do not cater to the people, they only want a paid subscription, which I get on the Business end of things, but previously this paper was (Easy Ad) easy for everyone to get & now you have to pay for it or hope they leave it in your neighborhood. To top that off I have paid for ads that have never even gotten me a call, so after 21 years in this Business it seems they just don't care to make money getting paid ads, or helping the Community at all! I used to buy the valley Chronicle faithfully every week. In the last year so I had quit buying it. I refuse to support this paper to me a community newspaper should be writing up lifting articles about the community, and what going on and round town to keep us informed. The valley Chronicle has become bias about our police and fire department in this community which is very disturbing to me as a taxpayer and a citizen of is Hemet. I happened to see the chronicle's article on National lights out. I which Target puts on from last Tuesday night. Every year if they've had this event. I have taken my granddaughter which she is 8 years old. She loves it. I was unable to take her this here but she wanted to go to see the SWAT team and the canine dogs and say hi to the police department. So my granddaughter had her other grandmother to take her. Mind you my granddaughter is only 8 years old but she looks forward to any Community event where there are our finest Police and Fire Depot. I have no affiliation with the police, or fire Dept in this town. I am just a citizen that respect our Police and Fire Department. The lights out at Target made my granddaughter a little happy camper. It's something she looks forward to. Shame on you Valley Chronicle I have boycotted you for the fact that you do not support are fire and police in this community. Meaning I will no longer supports your paper.
