I just got a new Audi Q5 and wanted the front of the car protected. I determined that I wanted the Xpel Ultimate so I did my research and found a few authorized installers around the area. Dan at Valley Clear Bra was the first one to contact me back and I discussed with him what I wanted done. When I first spoke with Dan on the phone, I could tell he is very knowledgeable, up front, and easy to talk to. Later that evening I called Dan back and told him I'm going with him. Dan is the owner and the installer, so I knew my car isn't passed down like an assembly line without knowing who is doing the work. He is competitively priced and we agreed for the front bumper, front fenders, full hood, headlights, fog lights, side mirrors, and upper portion of the rear bumper since I was afraid my wife will scratch it with baby gears. So we setup a time and I dropped my car off on a Friday morning. In a couple hours I got a call from him saying that he couldn't finish the job and it would have to be done another day. So what happened was when he almost finished the hood but found a defect in the film. He knew I wouldn't be happy so he stripped it off, contacted Xpel for replacement film since I guess he didn't have enough, but it was scheduled to arrive the next business day. I was a little bummed but this was not his fault, this shows that he is a perfectionist, wants to deliver the best work, and have his customers satisfied. Next business day, the filmed arrived but it was a windy day which doesn't work in your favor because when you pull your car into the shop the wind can blow dusts into it as well. So I dropped my car off at noon and told him to have it ready for me by the next evening. I ended up keeping it overnight and he finished it before schedule. He even waited a few hours for me to pick it up. When I saw my car, I couldn't even tell there was film on the car, the work looked amazing. He explained to me how to care for it and if any issues just to let him know. I showed the wife and she was happy as well since she will be the one driving it. I am very pleased with his work. By the way, what I got done is what he calls the "Full Monty" package, so if you ask him about it he will know what you are talking about. We have a new car that we baby the hell out of, but we also like to take road trips. I did some research on clear bras, and found Valley Clear Bra. Dan is extremely knowledgeable about the different clear film protection products that are available, he explains everything, and he is meticulous about the application process. His shop is spotless! I would add that the 3M Ventureshield looks great on our pearl white car. I thought it would be a lot more noticeable, but it really disappears. We have one section of the bumper where there is a little bubbling - it simply refuses to go away after two weeks - but it seems like an easy fix. Overall, it is a great product. I had mine installed on the lower portion of my truck since the bumper is made of steel and not plastic. Steel with a coat of paint doesn't really go well with rock chips. So I decided to have a clear bra put on. I will be a returning customer any time I or my friends and family need this type of service. Dan is very accommodating and truly a professional in his work. He talks the talk and definitely walks the walk. And customer service??? How does helping a customer out by doing the install on a Sunday! He's the definition of customer service, period. Anyways, had my car wrapped by dan earlier this year, sometime in april i want to say? in anycase, excellent job, reasonable price and he went out of his way to help me through some issues that came up (car had clear bra previously applied to a freshly repainted front bumper... so when removed for reapplication, took the paint right off). Totally worth the drive!! Okay here's the deal... I have the orange 2012 Chevy Camaro that was in the shop for two weeks until Friday- and I needed to leave on Sunday to drive across the country- and I had already bought stripes for the side of my car, and wanted them installed before I left!! He took the time to show us how he applies the XPEL film material, and what to expect as far as durability, scratches, and the overall look of the vehicle after application. His setup is impressive, and utilizes many steps to ensure a near-perfect application. He explained how the room is air conditioned with filtered air to prevent dust landing on the vehicle (and thus ending up under the film), how the panels on the ceiling are angled in a certain way so he can detect any imperfections during application, and a few other steps that really highlighted how passionate Dan is about achieving excellence for the client.
