California to Idaho. What can we say but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! First, Brent contacted us to let us know that they would be arriving the next day at 9am. The next day, right on the dot, here comes 2-26ft trucks pulling up to our house. On move-out day, Brent and Austin were terrific. They handled and loaded each item with care. They were very professional and easy going. Any questions we had, they had no problems answering. They even gave suggestions for the new house in regards to who to contact for internet, cable, etc. Move-in day was 3 days later and just as we pulled up to our new home, here come those same 2 trucks again. This time Brent and Austin brought additional help (Mica and "Unknown") same thing, they handled the unloading with care and moved each item to their right area. If an item happen to get placed in the wrong room, they quickly moved it to the correct one. We couldn't be more pleased with this company and their crew. This is our second time using VCM and could not be happier with their service! The first time we moved from CA to ID in 2020 and we were so happy they helped us. No waiting two weeks + for your items or having your things packed in a truck with others stuff, this is door to door excellent service! Recently, my parents whom are in their late 80's moved from CO to ID. I knew immediately whom we were going to call for help. My parents were so impressed with the crew and commented how professional and polite the men were. This was the most impeccable service, they were prompt on the dot. The entire time they were working we kept saying how impressed we were with their service, incredible work ethic. They immediately got to the job on hand and were so INCREDIBLE. We've used them twice, once for long haul move and once for short distance move and we wouldn't use anyone else. This team is a well oiled machine. One time years ago United van lines was used to get to Idaho and there is NO comparison. We are retired seniors unable to move heavy items by ourselves. We had our carpeting replaced throughout the house with new carpet in three rooms and hardwood floor in fourth. This required moving furniture from the rooms getting new flooring and moving back when flooring completed. It also required coordination with the installers. The movers were responsive to changes required to coordinate the moves and were efficient and courteous while performing their work. They even moved heavy furniture in an area not receiving new flooring to allow us to clean under and around those pieces. There was no damage to the furniture or interiors while performing the work. The only negative is they have a two hour minimum and the work generally only took about an hour or less each day. read more

We hired Valley Custom Moving for our out-of-state move. Literally everything from calling to get a quote, to moving in our last item was done professionally, efficiently, and without any issues. we are new to the area and were going to hire a couple of guys from a different local moving company to help us unload our moving truck. They had quoted a decent price the first time I called. Then when I called back to schedule they hiked their prices significantly with no explanation Thankfully I found Valley Custom Moving by doing a simple online search. We used Valley Custom Moving for our move from California to Idaho. From start to finish, everyone we came into contact with was very professional, friendly and pleasant to deal with. The movers were great in taking care of our belongings and doing whatever possible to tetris everything into their truck for us. Tyler and Trenton did a fantastic job! They had me loaded and at the new place and unloaded in 5 hours. I have antiques and they took great care with them and there was no damage. They worked hard and didn't stop to talk or even take a break. I gave them directions on what items went in the garage, which were throughout the house too and they remembered everything I told them.
