I appreciate it that so much because other doctors just gave me medication without even looking at what else could be the issue. The other thing that was awesome is their flexibility to do Telemedicine. Her office is in chandler and I live in the west valley. Telemedicine allows me to stay current on my appointments. They even go above and beyond and send my lab referrals to an office near me to complete.

She does everything very thoroughly, using detailed testing from professional labs. Originally, I went to my primary doctor feeling off. They ran tests and didn't find a thing. She did the same tests and some additional. The normal range for a standard medical practice is a bit different than when you see a more natural practitioner. I got results here. I know many wonderful individuals who dig deeper and can find issues a standard practice cannot. However, the supplements those practitioners provide, I am usually unable to take due to sensitivities. Best of all, I can take their products with no issues. I can call any time. Jessica, who is the sweetest, is always there to set up a product pick up for me, or I can have them delivered to my home. I appreciate them so much.

My experience with the office staffs however, has been a complete disaster. A friend referred me here and told me the office was nothing like this when she was a patient years ago. Unfortunately, from the moment I became a new patient and even after becoming an established patient, I have constantly had to call the office because of poor communication. I was repeatedly told one thing, only for something completely different to happen. The only thing that was consistently prompt was collecting my payments. Today, I finally had my appointment with Dr. Ibarra, and she was fantastic. However, as soon as I walked out of the office, I realized I didn't have all of the supplements listed on my treatment plan. I immediately went back inside, and the staff member reassured me that the MMC was the Sibotic. After I arrived back at work and compared everything to my treatment plan, I realized I still did not receive the Sibotic supplement that was actually prescribed. At this point, it is incredibly frustrating to constantly have to double-check the office's work and follow up on mistakes that should have been caught before I left. Patients should not have to spend this much time chasing down answers or correcting errors. This has happened at least five different times. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the office's communication and attention to detail. While Dr. Ibarra has been exceptional, the repeated issues with the office staff have overshadowed my overall experience.

I had an us-guided thyroid biopsy at the clinic, and the doctor cut into her lunch hour to do the procedure rather than have me come back another day. Her assistant did the same, and it was their idea to have me do it then, not mine- but I truly appreciated it. BTW her assistant is crazy good at needle sticks, and I barely felt her draw blood. The office is clean and inviting, and the ladies at the front desk are a hoot. I have had no issues with scheduling or billing, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone in need of an endocrinologist. Dr. Shell runs all of the labs (which my insurance covers 100%) and takes the time to explain the results and work to optimize my numbers--not just get them "in range". Plus, her help with my acute diverticulitis last Fall was above and beyond! Truly. Her concern was more than hoped for or expected. She got my CT scan approved immediately through my insurance and I felt like she was holding my hand getting me through it! My previous PC's office is SO bad. I can never talk to a nurse or doctor! When I had covid last year, I couldn't get an appointment and when I left a message that I needed an immediate response, it took them a week to get back to me!! I could have died before they called me back! I ended up in the ER because my throat swelled up so bad I could barely breathe and had completely lost my voice. Again, Dr. Shell came to the rescue. I know doctors aren't in the business just for the fun of it, they need to make money, too. But, she actually wants to help. I hope she never changes her attitude!!
