Hosting 24 lanes, an extensive menu with food service directly to your bowling lane, and an arcade and billiards room, this is one of my favorite small-town bowling alleys in America. Opened in 1962, it's hardly changed, a throwback to yesteryear with late-night bowling, unintentional old-school decor, and simply a classic piece of Americana on Highway 70. What they won't tell you is that you must establish your name and a game of bowling on the touchpad by each lane before the pins will illuminate, so keep that in mind.

The crowd is very cliquish and often heavily intoxicated, with people drinking in the parking lot before and during the night, which is especially uncomfortable given that this bar is inside a bowling alley where families and children are present. Seeing that kind of behavior outside while kids are coming and going adds to the overall unease. If you're not part of the regular group, it's easy to feel ignored or out of place. The karaoke host clearly favors friends and familiar faces, who seem to get priority while others wait far longer than reasonable to sing. The drinks are also way overpriced and underwhelming, especially for the quality you get, and the bar staff is incredibly slow even when it's not very busy. As for food, you'd honestly be better off stopping at a gas station. There are better choices in town with a more professional, fair host and a much better overall vibe. In the end, it's disappointing that what could be a fun, inclusive karaoke spot feels more like a clubhouse for a small, ridiculous group of adults rather than a welcoming place for everyone.

Unsure of the condition of the lanes and their upkeep, we were pleasantly surprised! The counter folks were welcoming and friendly and the facility, while not much to look at on the outside, was up-to-date on the inside. I did not see any lanes out of commission, and the touchscreens and displays all seemed to work great. The bowling pin mechanisms could be faster, but they worked just fine. They do have a fairly busy schedule. We went around noon, and found a seniors bowling league were there which forced us into a holding pattern, which was not an issue. Just be aware that there are leagues that play and you may want to call ahead to make sure they have open lanes available. Will definitely return for more "strikes and spares"!!

"Manager" aka Bill doesn't see him hit the vape yet throws him out. We had a group of four, and paid for an hour of bowling and only got to bowl 15 minutes of that hour. I've worked in hospitality for 6 years, and we got food, drinks contributing to their business. This is just not how you treat your paying customers. So sad that he found the need to talk to people like that. He looks like he hates his job, and needs a different job that makes him happy. The girl at the pizza register had no idea what was on any of the pizzas, and the bartender, in the middle of our drink order, stops to check her schedule on her smart watch. I was surprised too, because it was packed! I believe it was kids night until 7 pm and then adult leagues from 7 - 9 pm. Either way, I bowled 2 games ($4.50 per game), and enjoyed 2 yummy drinks made with moonshine for $4 each, you can't beat that! It wasn't crowded and uncomfortable. I didn't feel rushed to bowl like it is in some alleys. It was just relaxed, and most importantly, FUN! The staff was very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly! There are tons of flyers laying around with great deals and future events. I wasn't in the mood to play any of the arcade games, nerf ball, or bumper cars, but everyone playing seemed to be having a good time.
