From the first contact until the job was finished, there was superior communication, great service, and very impressive products... I have NEVER been happier with any company like I have with these guys! The key is their attention to detail and truly CARING about their customer... and listening to the customer. When first contacting Pete, he immediately had Ricky contact me to schedule the measure. We went down to the store and were impressed not only with the super stocked, clean showroom, but the knowledge they possessed in showing us all of the available options. It was great to deal with someone with so much experience for so many years, along with a GREAT price. On the day of the (free) measure, they contacted me with an exact time that he would arrive and they were true to his word! It got even better from there. They ordered the laminate (wood grained) floor and soon the installers were at our home, and yes, on time! I must say that these guys were craftsmen, making difficult cuts and angles to make our living room and bedroom beautiful! We were BEYOND IMPRESSED with the entire experience. Let me just say that for over 40 years, I have unfortunately had to deal with the big box stores, but nothing compares to this experience with Valley Flooring; I'm really not kidding! They are obviously not a big box store, and actually have beat their prices each and every time I compared. I'm thankfully at a point now where I don't need to shop around; I KNOW that I will get the best price possible and don't have to worry about a subcontractor screwing up a job, or calling someone on the other side of the earth and wait and wait for a response to a problem I was experiencing. When you call these guys at Valley, you get a human that answers the phone and will get you answers to your questions immediately. The install I was talking about (above) was almost a year ago and everything they told us (durability, fit, look, professional install) was right on the money! I have had buyer's remorse over the years on some things I have purchased or services I have paid for, but really, once again, Valley Flooring takes the time and effort to get it right. There's something to say that IF there was a problem or mistake, I am confident that it would be taken care of immediately. In this crazy, stressful world, it is good to know that this portion.. carpet or any flooring is covered (no pun intended) by this group of guys who go the extra mile to not only earn your business, but care about their customers. And because of this great attitude, I am returning once again for new carpet and another new floor in our upstairs, knowing it will be done right. Price quotes to refinish floors are (plain and simple) bait and switch. I was gamed into believing the original quotes (or two separate occasions) $2-2.50 sq ft over the phone, and in person by Peter (Owner) were accurate. After wasting my time for an hour to come out to the house the price suddenly became $3.76 sq ft. Pathetic attempt to hood-wink customers! AVOID! read more

After a fire destroyed my home (2/13/16), the G.C. used Valley Floor Covering to do the floor during the rebuild. I selected hardwood for most of the house and linoleum for the bath and kitchen. Flooring was completed during the summer and I returned in November. Within 4 months 'bubbles' began appearing on both floors done in the linoleum. After a lot of back and forth Valley Floor came out and totally redid both floors. Again within 2 months the kitchen floor developed air 'bubbles'. Can you believe after they came out and looked at it they suggested we replace the subfloor and lay the linoleum a THIRD TIME! I said no. Decided since Valley had done the hardwood in the rest of the house I would get the kitchen done in the same type. I was not here when they did the first job. Hardwoods came a few days before to acclimate. On the day of the installation the G.C. sent guys out to move the furniture and the appliances out of the way. These guys were here at 7 a.m. to move these items. Valley Floor did not show up until 9:45 a.m. and we are in the same small town! Just 2 guys showed up, both Spanish speaking-one didn't even speak English! Since it was Friday they wanted to stay and finish the job. Of course this caused the G.C. guys overtime which they didn't mind as they had to move everything back. It wasn't until the appliances were being placed back that we noticed the very badly pinned water line for the refrigerator! The extremely thin threshold cracked immediately upon being walked on. We got tired of waiting for Valley to come back and fix that problem so the G.C. took care of it. Valley Floor came out again to replace the threshold. Never in my life have I seen a company leave such a shitty job! STILL WAITING since JULY for them to replace this one. It is cracked with glue very clearly coming threw the crack in it. read more

Very unhappy with the oak wood floor refinishing completed by this company. The polyurethane was applied haphazardly. Several walls have splashes of polyurethane on them and several areas on the floor itself have bits of wood polyurethanes onto the floor. read more

what a beautiful job they did refinishing our living room floor! I had a large water spot and they got rid of it the floor looks brand new. We had them come back and put hardwood in the kitchen and again the workmanship is stellar. They went through and took out all of the squeaks in the floor. the finished product is awesome ! We will now have them back to do our bathroom and porch. read more

This place deserves a 5 STAR rating. The work that they did in my bathroom was incredible. Each day they showed up at the exact time as planned, and even stayed longer (if allowed to) to finish the job quicker. We only have 1 bathroom in our house so the pressure was on to get our shower and toilet back. WE ABSOLUTEY LOVE LOVE this company. I would recommend this company to anyone who is doing a GUT job or updating their bathroom/kitchen or any flooring in the house. The same guy (Chris) was here for 5 days, and he was incredible.
